I was charged £600 without getting the…
I was charged £600 without getting the watch just for bidding and they haven't refund me the monies. This is scam and fake. I would not recommend anyone to use this auction. The worst service ever.

Good morning
Thank you for your feedback which I'd like to clarify.
You won a watch at auction and were charged the buyers fee of £600. Prior to placing a bid this charge is shown, as well as being listed on the FAQs and terms of business.
Having won the watch for your winning bid of £3700, you offered the seller £2800 which is in breach of our terms.
You have been advised that the seller must receive full payment within the 5 working days. If you do not proceed with the sale, the buyers fee is retained by Watch Collecting. This was agreed by you prior to placing your legally binding bid.
You continued to offer the seller less than your winning bid. As instructed by the seller the full amount must be received within the payment timeframe.
You subsequently informed the seller you have 5 working days to pay and would 'think about it'.
We have not received further contact from you, however will take this review as confirmation you are not willing to stand by your bid.
If you wish to come back to us please reply to the emails or call on the number provided.

Highly recommended - great service
Another excellent service from Hugo Malien from start to finish. The buyer got in touch immediately after the sale and paid and collected the following day. Really quick deal and Hugo was always on hand to assist.

Collecting watches managed service
Made contact with Collecting watchers via their website , i was quickly and professionally contacted by William asking how he could assist . We ran through the options available , the details of my watch etc and opt’d for their Managed service . The whole experience was effortless - easy to drop off , do paperwork - then they did all the advert and photography ( as part of the managed service) .. 7 day auction and the watch was sold to within £50 of the valuation that William had suggested they would like to obtain.
Buyer was introduced to me , payment received , watch was then released ( by collecting watches) to the new buyer.
I cannot rate the experience higher - so good … and thankyou William for your assistance .

Absolute perfection from start to finish
I cannot find the words to say how amazing WatchCollecting.com and the Watch Collecting Team are. I have just sold two watches (a rare Rolex Daytona and a Panerai) the step by step advice, process and their implementation re valuation, description, photographs/photographers etc, and the auction itself is literally nothing less than perfect.
The same goes for post sale when you are put in touch with the buyer and vice versa, again great buyers and easy to arrange payment and collection - all very professional.
This is all managed by your Consignment Manager (big shout out to Mark Fell - thank you!).
The most fun is watching the auction countdown live; on the last sale my stomach was in my mouth right up to the moment it passed the reserve price, all the time chatting and WhatsApping Mark.
If you are thinking of selling, or buying, a watch I cannot recommend Watch Collecting and the team high enough.
P.S. I only came across Watch Collecting through selling a car via Collecting Cars, the sister company - again, brilliant from start to finish.
PPS. If you like your cars and watches I highly recommend looking at both sites as many times possible every week.

Fantastic service
Fleur has been my contact when dealing with 2 watch sales. I made use of the managed service and my watches went to auction with my chosen reserve and sold as expected. Watch Collecting handled the logistics once I confirmed receipt of payment. I received the full sale price and there was no commission to pay. Great service that I would highly recommend.
