I’ve dealt with Duncan on a number of occasions in relation to historical coins and have always found him to be knowledgeable, professional and straightforward to deal with.

He clearly has a genuine passion for the subject and is always happy to discuss the history and details behind the coins, which makes the experience particularly enjoyable for a collector. Terrible experience. Website said open. Turned up at shop and was closed. Messaged number and got a reply saying we are shut until next month but can meet before to buy. I responded asking if they paid spot or below for items, I was told below so I said don’t worry I will pass. I then got a message saying we pay below spot for damaged jewellery but above for premium items. I sent a list with a gold, platinum , silver and palladium 1 oz maples all first year of issue and a platinum 1 oz queens beast coin. 10 hours later I got a response with prices. All well well below spot and quite frankly an insult as there is places online who pay spot and others above for these items. If you want pawn shop prices these are your guys. Definitely will never be back.

Yes bullion not scrap and definitely easier to post to an online buyer who locks in prices according to spot. Your website was clear you were open and you said you must have forgotten to change it. Hopefully anyone reading this review won’t waste their time as online and local pawn shops will be closer for them. I also got quite a bit over spot from a dealer you know in Scotland, Unfortunately can’t risk naming them here in case you try to remove my review. But definitely shows you are far from competitive.
