I've joined this mentoring program because I knew I needed help with:

1. figuring out how to improve my developer skills efficiently
2. gaining a broader perspective on web development in general and front-end development in particular, as opposed to just focusing on the next task in Jira and running around in circles in terms of comp dev

codewithdragos.com has delivered so far on 1 and 2. And not only that. It taught me how to improve my CV and linkedin profile big time. It has taught me core concepts in an extremely down-to-earth manner and has helped me learn through practice skills I've felt insecure about. And in this practice whenever I have a question I've been struggling with, I get an answer. Promptly. And quite often the answer gives me a glimpse of the "big picture" behind it. I.e. not answers like "do this and it will fix the issue".

Nr 3 is just around the corner, now that I've finally managed to tune down just a bit my self-doubt and self-criticism.

I had the feeling that I was missing a lot of key skills that senior developers should have.

I was impressed with the professional image part, but more so with the first week where I had to delve into the skills that I need for the types of positions I might be applying for in the future.

The technical parts were also really great, I was so impressed with the frontend performance section as that had always eluded me in the past. I have been with the programme for a few weeks now and I have already seen improvements with my professional profile, (a better understanding of how to market myself online and with my CV) and my technical skills (i.e. a deeper dive into testing beyond my current experience).
I feel I'm in that nebulous space between junior and senior with no idea how to effectively fill my skill gaps and level up, I think this programme is really helping with that by introducing/re-introducing the most important areas to focus on and providing opportunities to practice and gain experience in those areas. There are twice weekly group Q & A's with the organisers and other participants of this programme. There is also a LinkedIn forum and email for queries when you get stuck so there is plenty of help available. Overall a great experience so far and I'm confident this will continue.

Dragos and Bogdan are very knowledgable, the program is really good, you will dive quite deep into several topics like clean code, ci / cd and cloud.

Furthermore, I would expand the depth of opportunity as a collaborative, perseverance-oriented and guided experience as well as an investment that enables one to deepen background, rather than just mentorship. The huge importance is given to both fundamental and advanced concepts, mastering hard and soft skills that serve as a building blocks once long trip in software engineering is started :)

It is a great boost for me as a developer and personality. I applied knowledge in my current project and enhanced the whole developing flow. Now I can confidently design architecture of web applications, create CI/CD pipeline. I am familiar with cutting-edge dev, test and logging tools.

The instructors Bogdan and Dragos really know their stuff. I enjoyed that the course had a good mix of both theoretical knowledge and practical steps. I also really liked the structure where all the different weeks were built on top of each other. The weekly sessions with Bogdan and Dragos were really good.

I joined the course to learn how to make myself a better and more professional developer. Even though I wasn't really looking for a new job, I still got two job offers during the first couple of weeks of the course.
