Refund denied after visa refusal – no support despite months of communication
I booked Clink i Lár Dublin through Booking.com. My visa was officially refused, so I had to cancel. I provided all documents and Booking.com confirmed multiple attempts to contact the property for authorization, but the hotel never cooperated.
Months later, I still have no refund, no alternative solution, and both the property and the platform say they cannot help. The amount withheld has caused real financial stress for me and my family.
I expected fairness and empathy in a situation completely outside my control. I hope Booking.com and Clink Hostels review cases like mine with more compassion and responsibility toward customers facing unexpected hardship.
