Poor communication. Emailed weeks ago regarding status of my claim and no response. Have emailed since and still no response. It has surpassed the 56 days awaiting response time from my bank. The first email implied I would be updated of the progress of my claim.

Only want easy wins not cases they actually have to spend 5 mins on. They had a few unafordable lending cases historically i passed onto them. they came back and said i didnt have a case or they accepted the lenders 8 week responses. I have since gone to the ombudsman myself and with the help of chatGPT (highly recomend) i have won 3 out of the 5 so far. and i have not had to give a legal firm a massive cut of anything. and all i did was upload exactly the same docs to FOS portal as i uploaded to clear legal. They call themselves a law firm yet a free AI (chatgpt) and 15 mins of my time and ive won over half and kept all the monies. total sham company.

I received a joke of an offer from 118 118 and Clear Legal asked for all my bank statements to review and refuse the "good will" offer from 118 118!!! Ive sent all the required information and got confirmation from them that they received everything! And i heard nothing from them for 4 months!!! Then i got another email saying they are still waiting on my bank statements?!?!??!? I relied back with a trace of the emails i had previously to show i did sent everything over and they acknowledged the receip, and guess what??? No reply from them!! I sent the 4 follow back emails to which i got no answer for 3 months!!!!! And today 3rd November i got and email ( from their "account manager" Nicholas Ford who has previously confirmed the receipt of my information and bank statements) saying "Thank you for accepting the offer" WHAT?!?!?!? THE ACTUAL FK!?!?!?
Just a joke of a company!! Stay away from those useless people!

Got a feeling they’re data farming . I was their bread and butter it was easy wins for them. They don’t even try .
Got credit with defaults and bad credit . They lost 2 claims in the space of 3months .
One loan company who gave me a £500 loan apr of 179% lol . They just said “ no”to clear legal and that was it lol ….
If your company specialises in mis selling . Then that was the easiest case . The fact they just got told no and emailed me saying provide more details and we will go ombudsman for you like I can’t do that myself lol.
They are just gathering data and selling it on .
I close my other two claims straight away and the guy on the phone went “right bye”

I am honestly quite shocked at how many negative reviews there are here. They could not be any further from the experience I had with them. From the start I was told it could take 4 weeks to even get a reply from the lender in question and of course during that time I heard nothing from Clear Lega but I didn't expect to either, I left them to it and sure enough on the 5th week, the reply I got back was the say the claim had been successful and I was due a decent chuck of money. It was Sam Bent who dealing with my case it seems and I feel it important to point this person out as a lot of the negative reviews seem to name drop them but they was very helpful. After I accepted the claim, I was told it could take 2 weeks to see the funds in my bank, again this was acceptable and I expected nothing less but within 5 days I had the money. Clear legal have been nothing but effective and reliable and I urge people when looking at these negative reviews to take them with a pinch of salt because I personal do not believe it is a true reflection of this company and it's staff.
They have been amazing, helpful and informative. I would seriously recommend these guys.
Good communication & easy experience.
I filled in an easy form online for claiming for irresponsible lending. Communication was perfect. Told me when they contacted the companies involved. Then when they responded. Then again when they had the money and had sent it to me. Really easy experience with Clear Legal.

Have to say my experience has been extremely good with clear legal marketing, made the claim at the end of June then just kinda forgot about it (to be honest I didn’t expect much) to my surprise I got email a few days ago saying my claim against loans2go has been accepted and that I would receive a decent chunk of money, minus clear legal’s fees which I knew about, within 2 days of accepting the offer I received the money into my bank account

Communication is currently Sub-par
While I have used them before and they were great. Recently their communication has been atrocious. After a deadline passed for Aqua to responded to the Ombudsman. I have tried 3 times to get an update so I know what’s going on. I have received no response each time. Even if there’s a delay or an issue they should inform customers instead of ignoring them.
I would not recommend them currently until they improve their communication with customers.

Useless company and staff
Sam Bent from CLM was dealing with my case and was absolutely useless and a waste of time dealing with. Communication was awful and when my case was required for a response with a deadline, Sam Bent didn’t send me the email until 3 weeks after the deadline given. Do not recommend this company, go elsewhere or you’ll regret it.

Worst Experience Ever
I am writing this review on the back of an ongoing claim. I was contacted a few months back for a claim against Fund Ourselves. To
my surprise I was due compensation which I accepted, and was told the money would be paid out within a matter of 2 weeks. It has now passed that period, and I have not received any replies to my various emails and phone calls. I called different numbers, left a message, and then was told twice I would get a callback. To this day I have heard nothing. Worst customer service ever!!
The 1 star is because I can’t give anything lower.

Shocking service utterly appalling
Put a claim in with clear legal marketing in January. I received communication regarding my DSAR request to aqua on 6/03 I then received further communication on 11/03 stating that my complaint has been put forward to Aqua however on 02/04 I received an email stating a new letter of authority was required I completed the document and email asking for an update on the progress to which no reply I have sent 5 email replies to Sam Bent in that time asking to be contacted/ an update to which no response it is now 26/04. I contacted the number to which apparently from 9am when yous open yous can’t take calls to which I have left voicemails, I eventually got fed up last Monday and called through to reception Sam wasn’t available but I was advised he would call me that day shock horror no call back I then contacted later on in the week and again no call back was provided. I called this week and was advised another member of the team would call me to which they did however due to work commitments I was in a meeting and the voicemail instructed me to call the number back now shock horror they called me after 5 so when I didn’t answer and tried to call back the office was closed. I am extremely disappointed with the service I was advised when they put my complaint through on 11/03 the wait time can be up to 3 months (12 weeks) I am now 6 weeks from this no replies to my emails back regarding another letter of authority this email stated they needed this again to speed up my complaint so what has been done in the last 6 weeks and where am I now in the process those questions I have no answers to. I am so dissatisfied with the service and lack of communication

I accepted for CLM to receive my Amigo…
I accepted for CLM to receive my Amigo payment directly in order to receive a discount on fees. I was then emailed by Amigo last week advising that all payments would be with accounts within the next 3 working days. I have tried to contact CLM to find out when that means they will send my money over and their contact number just goes to voicemail and no one gets back to emails.
I have tried numerous times to email and call and have also provided with my bank details. This is really not ecepetable. It’s a different matter when you owe them.

Have done aboslutley no work towards the amigo loan issues I had, I tried contacting them for 18months straight with no response, I finally get contact from them, not to reply to any of my emails but to say that they know Amigo have paid me and now want their share.
