Just loved it, easy from start to finish .
Boat, food, staff, excursions, our rep were all faultless.

One minor point. Drinks on boat really reasonable so no need for drinks package

The holiday was great from the moment of booking to the return journey. The trip was arranged by classic Holidays to meet our particular needs, from flights to hotels.
the representatives who met us at the airport and ensured smooth transfer to the first hotel, then onward transfer to the nile cruise and back to our hotel ensured everything went smoothly until they said goodbye at Hurghada airport.
the guide Adel who accompanied on the boat trip down the Nile was super, he took care of all our needs and of us, he was extremely knowledgable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. his english was very good and he was able to answer any questions we had.

Just returned from 2 week cruise and stay to Egypt, first week on the Royal Esadora (now renamed the Blue Shadow 4) everything was brilliant, the staff, guides, the room, could not fault a single thing,it was my wife's birthday while on board and a cake was made and presented to her at dinner, accompanied by a band. Then our second week was spent at the Fort Arabesque Hotel at Hurghada, again we could not fault a single thing, we had a wonderful sea view room, food, staff, pools, could not fault one thing. Our 2 weeks was amazing, The whole experience was something we will always remember. We found the whole experience booking with Classic Holidays so easy and professional, we will definitely book with them again. Thank You.

The company were great in the excellent provision they booked in Egypt for our smooth travel. Disappointed that the Hotel in Cairo was surrounded by construction works and noise - we were not informed of this when we booked or prior to arriving. The Nile Boat was changed within a day of our departure and although lovely, it was not the kind of boat we had booked (this was modern, not the vintage style we had hoped for). Would definitely recommend CH as booking agents for Egypt as the private transfers and airport assistance was superb.

We travelled on a Classic Holidays Nile Cruiser The Grand Mandarin. Omg what a holiday. It had everything. The cruise itself was magical. The boat, staff food were superb. Nothing was too much trouble .Our guide was Adel Alfons. He was amazing. His passion pride in his countries history and knowledge were amazing. His help on and off the boat was exemplary. There is so much to see and do on this cruise. Dont miss the Old Cataract Hotel Tea.

Classic Holidays staff and organisation made our Egypt holiday perfect. Our hotels in Cairo and Luxor were excellent, staff couldn't do enough for you. Our Nile cruise was busy and full of excitement with lots to see and first class guides who made the history and culture come alive.

10 day stay in egypt was out of this world. We stayed on board The Blue Shadow 4. Everything was first class, from our cabin to our food. Everyone was super friendly and the staff were really hardworking and courteous. Our egyptologists spoke very good English and looked after us like we were family. It was all faultless and exceeded our expectations. Can't think of one bad thing, except maybe the small teacups, we Brits like our mugs!! My sister and I are in our 70s but we felt really safe and looked after. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to people of all ages. After disembarking in Luxor, we flew to Cairo and stayed in the The Steigenburger Pyramid Hotel, again 5* the rooms were large and beautifully furnished and our balcony looked straight over at the pyramids. We didn't book any tours but took a driver to take us to the pyramids, George was lovely , looked after us and spoke English.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Tour guides were very informative and very helpful. You could ask them anything. However trivial.

We had a 2 centre From the time we got off the plane to the time we returned everything was in place. No worries about transfer. The cruise was stupendous and the hotel was fabulous. Would highly recommend Classic holidays.

This trip exceeded our expectations, the princess was a little tired in places but this did nothing to detract from her overall charm and character……staff where exceptional, food was more than adequate and the guide (Sammy) knew everything about all the locations we visited….I did read a number of poor reviews prior to leaving for our holiday but put them down to professional complainants ( a kind description)

The cruise on the Nile with 11 excursions and Sam as the tour guide! Above and beyond my expectations! The boat was fabulous, great cabins, all with sea views. The food was incredible with an excellent buffet every night. Full credit to all the crew, chefs, cleaners, engineers everyone!

Classic holidays I cannot recommend enough. Everything they said and advertised was provided. Excellent transfers, communications, everything! Sam, our tour guide just fantastic! His knowledge, communication, humour and information was incredible. An asset to Classic Holidays, someone to be kept and all feed back given to Sam on how he made the perfect cruise for me.

The holiday was very interesting as there was a lots of history and the guide was very informative on the trips that we went on

Our tour guide Ahmed was absolutely brilliant. He ‘made’ the holiday completely. A totally professional, unflapable, and fun chap.

The organisation of the trip both in the UK and Egypt was first class. All staff were super. A fabulous itinerary and excellent optional excursions made this a trip of a lifetime. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Classic Holidays.

He was absolutely Unbelievable I would ask for this Gentleman On any Nile Cruise.
Pick ups and transfers all ran smoothly.
Hotel Arabesque West Bay was equally as good, we would definitely stay there again.

The whole two weeks ran like clockwork. Excellent guide Sam very knowledgeable. .

The guides for The Nile and in Cairo were fantastic and truly made the experience unforgettable. We were impressed with the smooth management of our transfers from the moment we reached Luxor.

Wow - what a great experience - our Classic Holidays Nile Cruise was amazing. We chose the International Hotel Seramis was a fabulous start to our holiday. A large well set up hotel right by the Nile and overlooking the Cairo Museum and Tahriir Square. The trip to the Pyramids was one of the main reasons for this holiday and they did not disappoint. Next on to Luxor and the Cruise on the MS Esadora, this boat is well equipped and has very friendly staff and the food was plentiful and quite varied. There are “posher” boats on the Nile I am sure - but we were very happy with the Esadora. There were excursions included on the trip which were well organised and always running on time, there were also a good choice of optional additional trips which again were well organised and very interesting, (some very early mornings though !) LOL One thought is we could have spent longer at the Valley of the Kings. All things considered the trip was a brilliant way to explore ancient Egypt. Then on to the Red Sea we chose the Cleopatra Hotel Makadi Bay, another wow - this brilliant hotel right on the Red Sea with so many swimming pools was perfect - in fact my wife wished we had allowed more than 4 nights here it was really really good - good food, good facilities, great staff, a great way to wind down after a major trip through this fascinating place. Classic Holidays made all our transfers, trips, experiences & flights work to plan - everything worked on schedule, a credit to Classic Holidays - it all worked like clockwork. Negatives are very few - tummy bug hit during the cruise, several fellow travellers were affected - not at all sure it was contracted on board or not - as some folks were affected before the cruise and some on the last night of the cruise? Optional excursions are payable in cash - a minor inconvenience really - but take a good amount of £GB for this, also it’s difficult to work out how much Egyptian currency to get ? We changed very little really and you do not want a lot of local currency when you leave it’s difficult to change back.

The arrangements for outgoing travel were good though it would have been helpful to have flight details earlier for peace of mind. We flew with Egyptair which was fine. Our guide, who met us at the airport, was well informed, personable and very professional. The stay on Royal Esadora was very good, accommodation, food, service. The trips and visits were well organised. Onward flight and stay in Cairo was very good, hotel, recommended personal guide, as well as the pre-arranged trips and visits provided by Classic holidays. We felt the package provided very good value for money.

Classic Holidays have been extremely good and the holiday organisation exceptional. There has been one issue which disappointed us but Classic Holidays are doing everything to resolve this. The organisation of transfers was exceptional, we were met at every change over and guided through check in, passport control etc. the cruise guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. All in all highly recommend Classic Holidays.
