Impeccable organisation, excellent guide, lovely boat. A totally immersive experience. From arrival at Luxor airport to going through departure gate at Hurgada, Classic reps were there to guide and support us. Nothing was too much trouble.

We have just returned from our holiday in Egypt and can honestly say it has been wonderful. The service has been seamless from start to finish and our tour guide Hany has been exceptional.

We expected the excursions to be brilliant, which they were. However, it has been the attention to detail which has really wowed us. A couple of examples: Being met airside at Cairo by the representative to expedite our arrival through customs; The tour guide Hany who, when it became clear that we wouldn't pass through Esna lock in time to visit Karnak and Luxor temples, organised the coach to pick us up and drive us to Luxor where, after our visit we met the ship.

My wife had a few reservations about travelling to Egypt but the care that has been lavished on us has been very reassuring. We would definitely recommend Classic Holidays for a trip to Egypt.

Both myself and wife wanted a Nile cruise and hadn't heard of and never used classic holidays before but was first website we got to after TUI let us down with prices and glad we did.
We spent 7 nights on board and even though our intended ship broke down a few days beforehand Classic sorted it out with a different, really nice ship with no drama.

As soon as we landed and were off the plane we were met by Orbital staff who sorted out our visa and helped with bags etc.

On board we met our guide for the week Adel Youssef, who really took great care of his group of around 18 of us and shepherded us around like family and made everything feel safe and doable. It was pretty awesome. We didn't have any problems with diesel fumes as others have reported. We didn't get a room on top 2 decks as told we would but didn't moan about it as room was fine and it couldn't be helped as boat last minute change. It was nice to get tea and coffee in the room also.

All the food was lovely and drinks were not expensive.

Staff really took care of you onbaord and everything we needed was taken care of by staff or Adel. Their attitude is if you don't tell them then they can't sort it which worked really well, our fridge didn't work and within minutes staff swapped it out, no fuss just got it done.

All the trips were amazing and well worth getting up early to beat the crowds with seamless organisation.

We had great fellow travellers on board, met as strangers and left as friends.

Next 4 days were spent in a resort in Hurghada and again transfer was great, no issues, hotel lovely.

We were picked up from the hotel to Hurghada airport by Orbital travel rep right on time and rep took us right to front of airport door, great staff.

Would I go back, probably not as other places to go, would I use classic holidays or refer them to friends, yes definitely.

Organisation was very good, guides were very knowledgeable and always on time and everything worked well.

What a fantastic Nile Cruise holiday. Superbly organised and great value. The boat was exactly as advertised, hospitality onboard was exceptional and added with the best guide/egyptologist you could wish for. The hotel stay after the cruise was fantastic and really finished the holiday in style. Can highly recommend the Classic holiday experience.

Went on this holiday with my granddaughter we both wanted to see the Nile we could not have done this holiday any better it was loverly the boat the staff the guide the food the whole package,I would use Classic again

Excellent in every way we are generally solo travellers so this was out of our comfort zone as a package holiday however we needed have worried it provided first class tour guides wonderful accommodation both on and off the boat fantastic staff, food and tours everything we wanted to see and do was achieved

Classic Holidays were fantastic from start to finish. Booking was easy, staff were knowledgeable and helpful during the process and after. Any queries we raised were answered quickly and accurately. The holiday itself was well organised with amazing English speaking guides on hand 24/7, making the whol trip enjoyable and just…wonderful ! Plus…the price was fair!
There were a couole of ‘wish we’d known that’ moments but probably more down to our lack of research than any lack on Classic’s side!

Have just returned from a week cruising down the Nile, and a week in a 5*hotel in Luxor, what can I say, just an amazing trip. From start to finish, Classic holidays were brilliant, at 72yrs young, this was our first visit to Egypt, and our first cruise, so we had quite a few queries and questions. Their customer service department were just so helpful, answered all our concerns within 24hrs, brilliant. We had an Egyptian tour guide on the boat with us, again, Sam was brilliant, so passionate about his subject, and helped anyone who had a problem. The 5*hotel was fantastic. From start to finish the whole trip went like clockwork, pickups and transfers all on time, if this is the sort of trip you're after, Classic is the company to go with. One last thing, Egypt is an amazing country.

Excellent holiday - 7 night Nile cruise was very well organised from being picked up at the airport on arrival to being taken back to the airport at the end of the holiday. Our guide (Sam) was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The included tours were stunning and I would strongly recommend the optional extras of afternoon tea at the Old Cataract Hotel, the bird watching trip and Abu Simbel. The boat (Royal Princess) was very clean; the cabins and en suite bathrooms were spacious and the sun deck was very comfortable. The buffet meals were good with lots of variety. Additionally I thought the holiday was excellent value for money.

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday. There was not one single issue, from start to finish. Very impressed with the hotel in Cairo and the ship down the Nile was incredible. What really made the trip was our dedicated tour guide on the ship, Sam. A fantastic guy who was very knowledgable and so passionate about his country and its fabulous history. We had never heard of Classic Holidays before but we would highly recommend them. Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Brilliant , really excellent time in Cairo, then on our cruise river boat which we loved. The crew were very helpful and friendly. Truly a holiday of a lifetime

Right from our initial enquiry Classic Holidays gave excellent customer service. They quickly put together a Nile Cruise with a 1 night stay in Cairo before(including a full day tour) and 3 nights in Luxor after our cruise.
The company they use in Egypt, Orbital Travel, also proved to be excellent. Transfers were on time and very efficient and our tour of Cairo was very well organised.
Our cruise aboard the MS Royal Princess was wonderful. Spotless clean, the staff couldn't do enough for you and there was a great choice of fresh food at every meal. The real highlight of our cruise was our guide Adel Youssef. He organised our group perfectly and his knowledge and passion, along with his sense of humour, were second to none. He really looked after us like family and made our holiday one to remember, despite the very early (but necessary) starts!
The only slight negative is the diesel fumes at times from the many Cruise ships travelling along the Nile but it certainly didn't stop us enjoying our cruise.
Thank you Classic Holidays, and Orbital for an amazing 11 nights in Egypt, we will definitely be returning!

ur Nile River cruise completely lived up to expectations. The cabin was very comfortable and well maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after days of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Each stop along the way offered fascinating visits to Egypt’s historic treasures, beautifully organized and guided. A truly memorable and seamless experience—highly recommended!
