Clarks of Amersham had undertaken our original removal to our house in 2007. We had a new stone bath weighing 200kg delivered which our contractors refused to carry to the existing bathroom on the first floor as they claimed the turnings on the main staircase were too tight to carry the bath. We contacted Clarks in desperation as the alternative was to remove a first floor window and crane the new bath into position on the first floor. On Christmas Eve 2025, four representatives from Clarks attended and within two hours had carefully protected the main staircase and the bath. 45 minutes later I was being asked where exactly did I require the bath in the bathroom. An incredible team who were careful, polite and extremely competent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clarks of Amersham to anyone and we will certainly be using them on our next house move.

We have just had 3 days packing and unpacking our belongings in a house move from Bucks to Somerset. We knew leaving our home of 42 years was going to be very emotional but it was made SO much easier with Kevin, Jason & Jordan. They were extremely Professional, kind, helpful and amazing. We couldn’t have asked for nicer people. Nothing was too much trouble. If I we could give them 10* rating we would do so. Thank you very much Boys and Clark’s of Amersham.

Excellent every time

Used Clarks recently to pick up some stuff from an auction for me as I live a long way from Amersham. The goods arrived in good time. They were perfectly and safely packaged and all was fine. Could not fault them.

Damaged beyond repair a 1 year old American fridge freezer (which we are still trying to negotiate for 3 months later with their (inadequate) insurance company) and several other items. On moving day, our buyer's removal people waited outside for at least an hour so that our possessions could be stacked up on the driveway outside in order that they could move in. Thankfully it wasn't raining. We've moved several times (including overseas) and this was the most stressful and shambolic move we have ever experienced. Avoid.

We were extremely pleased with the Clarks team who moved us from Watford to Stafford, all in one day. The team of Chad, Steve & Michael could not have been more professional - they worked quickly & thoroughly but did not rush us. Although we packed most of our possessions ourselves - using the huge supply of boxes & packing paper that we were given - the team packed our furniture & more fragile items extremely carefully & nothing was too much trouble for them. Starting at around 8 am & finishing just after 7 pm was an excellent day's work. The team worked very tidily & boxes were stacked in the rooms we requested ready for us to unpack. Many thanks to Clarks for a smooth & easy move & we are more than happy to recommend the company in future.

We had a great team of removal men who made our move to our new home totally stress free because of the friendliness, professionalism and their hard work so we would like to say a special thank you to Darren, Harry, Gary, Kevin, Hamish and Dan for doing a great job.

We picked Clarks, for our move to Yorkshire, as they are a well established local company, and we’re cheaper than other similar firms.
We were nervous about someone moving all of our contents especially as our, not quite a double size, garage was full of so much stuff that we struggled to fit a car in it. Most being bits and pieces that we couldn’t really pack into boxes.
We spent weeks filling around 80 boxes but still had a lot of stuff that we couldn’t pack. We were getting stressed, worrying whether the removers would take everything.
We needn’t have worried. The guys came the day before the move and said everything was fine. They loaded as much as they could then returned on the move day, to collect the remaining bits.
They were extremely helpful and made us feel relaxed during the whole process. The garage was completely cleared in less than half an hour!
They handled everything with great care. They put protection on the floors, especially at the new property as it was raining.
All the people we dealt with were friendly and helpful, but I must mention Kevin, Harry, and Michael who were very professional, friendly, and jolly and completely took the stress out of the moving process. They worked tirelessly throughout. Nothing was too much trouble.
It’s also worth noting that boxes, packing paper and tape, (and their delivery) are included in the price, as are other things like late key delay. Some companies charge extra for these.
I hope not to move again but, if I do, I will definitely be using Clarks.

Moving is stressful especially during storm Eunice- but Clarks did a fantastic job. The whole process from booking, to china and glass packing and then move was really well organised and executed. We had a team of 5 on the day who were really efficient, engaging and helpful. We are now in store pending our move into the new home but feel very confident about continuing to have Clarks for the second phase!
