CK Chemistry Anmeldelser

Claire has been an incredible tutor this year as I have done my Chemistry resit to allow me to get into Vet School! Just wanted to say thank you on Results Day 2026!

I joined the year 13 AQA Exam Prep class with weekly sessions plus attended the Easter Holidays Revision Course and participated in some Chemistry Comeback Challenges. Claire aims her classes perfectly to allow able students to be challenged and stretched, while also going over some specific foundational aspects of the course when needed too. Claire explains each topic very well and the small group size allows her to communicate specifically with each student each lesson via the chat function or unmuting the microphone. I also wanted to mention the assessments, which held me accountable, with a test at the end of every month which is completed in exam conditions and marked by Claire. Claire then give a very high detailed level of individual feedback including areas to improve (there is also an option to do this with mock exams too)! The Exam Resource Hub is also extremely well designed and allows you to complete worksheets in every topics, with questions created by Claire herself so all new material, which is extremely good practice!

Thank you Claire - I am so grateful!

It was very useful for me because I had more insight into the techniques used which were very effective and made me understand much better. Prabhraj

Great online lessons with lots of resources available to use. It really helped with my confidence in chemistry! Thank you!

Excellent resources for A-level Chemistry tutors and teachers to help their students achieve success- recall quizzes, mock exam and practice papers with clear mark schemes and well explained answers. I thoroughly recommend these resources!

Exceptional Tutor! Highly recommended for aspiring Medicine students. We reached out to CK Claire in January 2026 for my Year 12 daughter. Her classes fill up incredibly fast, so we were only able to enroll in her Easter intensive revision day and the Year 12 mock prep classes. Even in this short time, the impact has been amazing. As an aspiring Medicine student, my daughter faces huge pressure to secure an A* in Chemistry. CK has been an absolute lifesaver. She has a rare talent for explaining the most complex and tricky exam questions in a clear, logical way. By focusing on these challenging areas, she has built up my daughter's confidence and given her a real shot at the highest grades. Claire is a brilliant teacher. We are eagerly looking forward to joining her regular classes next academic year. Don't hesitate to book her if you get the chance!

I am a chemistry teacher and I highly recommend all students to use the CK chemistry resources and help offered. I buy the predicted paper pack each year and my students have found the retrieval quizzes a great way to test their chemistry skills.

This is a fantastic website offering high-quality, comprehensive revision materials for A-Level Chemistry (OCR A and AQA). Studying the OCR A specification, I found the resources to be an invaluable asset to my revision. Ms. Kelly has a knack for explaining complex concepts concisely while maintaining the depth required by exam mark schemes. I also had the privilege of attending her May half-term course, which greatly improved my exam technique. When I struggled with the enthalpy changes of solution and neutralisation just before Paper 1, Ms. Kelly provided rapid email support that clarified the topic and eased my exam anxiety. Her dedication to her students is unmatched, and I am incredibly grateful for her guidance.

Claire has a real passion about helping students make progress, feel confidence and develop understanding. She is so generous sharing free resources and her time. Her 100 points in 10 days over Easter was well thought out, well researched and free! She is so knowledgeable about the exam boards. Her predicted papers must take ages to write and are brilliant - I totally recommend all her resources to anyone in year 12 or 13 and their parents

Claire is an amazing tutor.
Her resources are of high quality. She has also provided my son with 1:1 tuition for many months. He really enjoys the sessions (high praise to her for keeping him interested). Prior to her involvement he was struggling to keep motivated, I have nothing but thanks and praise to her for helping him re-engage with the subject.

As a teacher I find the resources really useful. I frequently give the retrieval quizzes to students and signpost them to CK Chemistry. The 100 marks in 10 days was used by my Y13 students and I always purchase the predicted papers which my students find invaluable.

Fantastic resources, at a pretty reasonable price given how personal and one to one the support is. Claire does a fantastic job given it is a one woman operation! Her free resources are also really useful especially her 100 marks in 10 days videos with in depth explanations of the answers.

The weekly emails are excellent. The retrieval practice materials included are extremely useful for working with Years 12 and 13. Thank you!

Claire is an exceptional chemistry teacher. Her weekly classes and revision courses have been incredibly helpful throughout my Year 12 OCR A Level Chemistry studies.

What sets Claire apart is that she doesn’t just teach the basic content only but she regularly introduces more challenging, “out of the box” questions, helping students develop a deeper understanding of chemistry and preparing them for the types of questions that can make the difference between good and excellent grades.

She works extremely hard to support her students. She provides assignments, marks them carefully, and creates detailed video walkthroughs to explain the answers and common mistakes. This personalised feedback has been invaluable in improving my confidence and exam technique.

I would highly recommend Claire to any student aiming for high grades in A Level Chemistry. Thank you, Claire, for all your dedication, support, and excellent teaching throughout the year.
