One of the worst companies to deliver your goods.

Item has been "delivered" since June 8th, today's the 14th, where is it? No contact information for this company either.

my parcel was incomplete. I called these people only to have a very surly girl on the phone who continually talked over me, didn't resolve the problem and in short passed the blame on.

I expected the worse to be honest after reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced an issue with a parcel that was delayed prior to reaching citipost's premises. I was desperate to receive the item as it was a birthday present for my partner. I contacted the customer services department who in turn located the parcel, prioritised the item and delivered it the next day through their partner delivery carrier 13ten. Really great service, thank you

I've ordered some goods from an online shop. And guess what? The parcel was never delivered to me. I've checked the tracking page and the parcel was delivered to a random city, to a totally random person! I've called the customer service of this shop, they've sent me replacement parcel. But when I tried to contact the Citipost, they kept lying to me, that the original parcel was delivered to me! I've told them to check who has my parcel and why it was delivered to different city. They told me to wait 48 hours for the response. After a week (!) they told me "the parcel is marked as delivered, you must ask the seller for a refund. Sorry for inconvenience". Why the seller has to pay the refund?! It's yours fault, not the seller's! It's the worst, the most irresponsible company ever, avoid at all costs and forget about refunds-they will always try to make you believe it's not theirs fault.

I recently purchased an item off eBay from a USA seller, and the item managed to travel across America and arrive here in the UK just fine. However when the item was handed to Citipost it just dissapeared. I tried contacting Citipost about it and they said it was classified as lost in transit. Now I lost my money, can't get my item and can't get a refund from the seller as it wasn't his responsibility once it had been shipped to the distribution center.

As you may already know if you are looking at this review this company toss your package from courier to courier

They incorrectly marked my package as delivered on more than one occasion

They marked my package as delivered yet again today so i contacted customers services (jade) they didnt seem bothered or concerned, she followed up my enquiry with a blank email :/ i am not joking or over exaggerating unfortunately

My neighbour later found my package which had travelled further down my road somehow and was drenched by the rain.

The prolific yodel were the final courier of my parcel surprise surprise.

I am happy to have received my parcel dont get me wrong, but this company are a nightmare - avoid at all costs

My Parcel was purchased through the Ebay international sellers program, and was delivered with out issue. I had no need to deal with customer services so can't pass comment on how they deal with problems. After reading previous reviews I was a little concerned but no need, happy to use again (plus I've saved £150 buying from overseas, over a 1/3 of the price!)

Item bought via ebay from USA. The 'postage' cost £16. The package never arrived despite 13ten recording it as delivered and so ebay won't refund my money. First story was driver had left package 'at the front of the property' but hadn't left a card or obtained a signature. This on a day when I was at home all day. Given that the front of my front is open to the street 8ft away this was less than sensible. Customer service person said she would get more details from driver. The new story was 'he left it somewhere safe'. So safe in fact that I and my neighbours several doors along have not found it. I have a very good idea where the 'safe' place is, and it doesn't involve my property. Given the reviews here, I am appalled that this company is still getting work via ebay.

These people are crooks, I am very upset that my parcel from the US, which is a birthday gift, has disappeared from radar. This is the second parcel that I have had go missing (the first was December 14).

I will never buy anything again if the chosen carrier is 13Ten or Citipost, usually via the ridiculous Ebay 'Global Shipping Programme'

Please avoid at all costs.

They were used for a parcel and when the parcel never arrived on time contacted them and the customer service attitude was it was not their fault even though they held the parcel for 2 days before passing to a courier for delivery. Tried to complain but got nowhere and never even received an apology or a response for my complaint. I would not recommend this company to any one. I would also be questioning why they hold parcels for longer than needed and who they employ at their company. By the way I am still waiting for my Parcel from them. Worst customer service ever and companies should do more especially with review sites out their to help people pick the best service.

useless company avoid

Ordered from ebay USA, experienced no problems. Wasn't delivered by 13ten as originally thought would be but by Yodel, however 13ten website was informative and said item dispatched. I have no reservations with this company. I suspect people only feel incited to leave a bad review if something bad happens to them, and would never write a review if everything goes smoothly. People do like to complain in the first world, eh?

Ebay states an item that was posted from the US has been delivered using their global shipping programme when fact it's ended up with Citypost (13ten) and their tracking shows an attempted delivery was made yesterday 22/07/2014) which simply isn't true as I was waiting in all day for it., besides there was no collection card.

I have bought several items from the USA which came through EBay's Global Programme and in the past six months these have ALL been dumped on the doorstep with NO ATTEMPT to even ring the doorbell!! I sometimes don't even know there is a parcel there until I answer the door to someone else maybe a day later!! I have a very 'vocal' dog with acute hearing ( my postman reckons she can hear a mouse fart a mile away) and always barks when she hears someone approach the house yet the Citypost Driver seems to sneak up close enough to throw the parcel on the step. What would happen if I was away? It would remain on the step until my return or until someone passing the house 'relieved' me of it!! As it is supposed to be a premium tracked service how does anyone know if I have received it or if it has been stolen after being dumped on the doorstep? For a fairly expensive service, which as the buyer I PAY FOR it really is absolutely appalling!

I read a lot of bad stuff about citipost so thought I'd contribute my opinion; I've ordered two items from ebay US that used this courier in the UK. Both arrived 3-4 days after being cleared from US customs where they had rested for around 10 days. Tracking from citiposts 13-ten site was accurate. I did have both items posted to a work address so did not have to deal with a failed delivery.

Bought an item off ebay from us thinking it would all be fine and arrive on time, but oh no tracking information was all wrong, then after 3 days of trying to find my precious item I phone citipost who say THEY broke it, didnt bother to try and deliver it or contact me in anyway about MY property and returned to seller the same day!

Make sure that any supplier sending goods to the UK from the United States does not use Citipost - they are downright dishonest in how they deal with you.

They will claim to have attempted delivery, and turn the package around to return to sender THE SAME DAY. They do not leave cards, and to be frank, it seems that they will happily fake the paperwork and not even come to your home.

Two separate suppliers in different months, two identical experiences, one shoddy courier in common. Avoid!!

I ordered goods on the internet and my parcel was sent on Tuesday 11th. I was expecting to receive it in few days, but I'm still waiting for it.
The address is my workplace's one, as at home there is nobody during the day, but they delivery until 9pm and it's not possible to choose an earlier delivery, so I had to bother the owner of the shop in front of my office and ask him if he didn't mind to receive a box for me.
Yesterday the parcel was out for delivery, but at 4.30pm I called the customer service to ask them to put a note, so if the office was closed they could deliver my parcel to the shop. This morning I went there to collect it, but there wasn't nothing for me.
Apparently the vehicle broke and they couldn't deliver my parcel. I called the customer service again, to remind them about our opening times, but the lady I was talking to replied that the parcel hasn't been scanned for delivery today, so I won't receive it today for sure. She was also unable to tell me a delivery date.
I hope to have nothing to do with Citipost anymore, because it's so frustrating keep waiting for something you need and never know when you're going to receive it!

THIS is their opening statement Ha ha ha SO NOT TRUE in my case..four days of lost work time, and immense stress .I recently bought a guitar from America but it had seemed to disappear up until Yesterday. When only through my own perseverance and stubborness I found it.. Although citipost/13Ten were helpful to a point I came up against a brick wall, after so many emails and kept being told they couldnt help any further and had no more information they could offer WHICH WAS CRAP, they told me it was the sellers problem and to go back to the seller. It was pure luck that whilst trying to sort out how to claim back from ebay my husband clicked on something which gave us more detailed tracking info, which actually placed the guitar at a Hermes depot in Gatwick (my heart sank after reading info about them) I found a phone number and the person was really helpful told me the parcel had been there then gave me another phone number of the following courier who managed to get hold of the guy who actually did deliver it and purely and luckily because the women at the last courier's was a small company and really wanted to help.. unlike citipost ...they track their drivers deliveries which placed him in the next road..So hail Tracey at mayday solutions.. the guy had gone to the wrong street and thought he left it with our neighbour.. its beyond me why citipost could not have done this if we could.as they must have had the relevant phone numbers. So I wont use Global shipping for items from America again as they use citipost/13Ten.

I managed to find a Citipost contact form and asked where my parcel was. I had a prompt email reply saying the parcel had been passed to Parcel Force, and was with them waiting for delivery. The email actually gave the Parcelforce tracking number, (of course different from the Citipost tracking number!)
Is it too difficult for Citipost to put the final bit of info, including the ParcelForce number on the 13ten website.
To me it just shows what an ill thought and useless company it is.
BTW, the email I had from them contained not a hint of apology for their lack of service
A very poor customer experience, which contradicts their fulsome, self satisfied website contents!
