They have put a lot of work into getting the scheduled charge sorted ,and it now has .Maybe the App migration should not have taken place without the scheduled charge aspect being looked ar first .

RECOMMENDED! Previously I had my EV charger on plug and play. I was contacted by the CITA team who informed me about the app features, and who then came and helped me set up my charger and app. Using the charger online completely changed the experience. Being able to connect the RFID cards, and track and schedule my usage is great, and the CITA team made sure to explain all possible features.

No bang for ya buck
This company has gone backwards .. if your looking for a charger to be an on off nothing more you may as well save your money and buy another brand. It didn’t regulate charge load from the soar to grid so no using what’s taken by the grid. They don’t offer 24.7 support. It’s 9-5 that’s it.
I’ve had issues for 3 months 3 months. 3 months!! You make it sound that they connected me and all my issues ended. It didn’t work after a week max 2. The only person who has helped is the gent from Scotland who called me .. to understand the issues. I agree I now have a charger (I have to instal) and start again but not using Cita app..
The 3 year warranty means nothing if they don’t have the stock to change when. There is a fault. The fault was obvious yet I was asked to do so much in the background I could work for tech
I do understand there is going to be some U.K. tech support which will help. That said do your research
Thought we had got around the corner with a new charger. Instal at my wins cost. Set up and….. chargers. Great bit still issues. It won’t Lock at the EV when you send the charge
So now matter what the reply I will always provide an honest updated reply
It’s now October and while I can charge which is great after months of nothing. The unit is still not doing what it can or should do ..

The moment you reported the problem, our support specialist, Vijay, connected with you straight away. We migrated your charger to our new backend so you could benefit from the updated platform. During this process, we noticed the issue wasn’t with the software but with the hardware itself. To make sure you were fully protected, we verified your proof of purchase, confirmed your warranty, and immediately raised the case with our internal team.
The result? A brand-new replacement charger has already been approved and is scheduled to reach you by the end of September, once stock arrives. While the wait is not ideal, please know we’ve committed to seeing this through until you’re back up and charging without worry.
We truly value you as our customer, Dave, and hope this shows how seriously we take service at CITA. If you ever face any challenge again, you can always reach us at supportuk@citaevcharger.co.uk - we’ll be there right away.

Well where do we start - Cita EV
Well where do we start
The product would probably work fine if you didn't have to use their poor quality app, the app is very cheaply put together and that's why it constantly fails if you can get the charger to work 2/3 days in a row you are doing well, they have no UK support or engineers so any issues and that's it, it cannot be fixed, currently still not charging and we are on to day 7, charger is now being ripped out and replaced by a more quality reliable product

When you reported issues with your charger, our team reviewed your case carefully. The hardware itself was not the root cause - the problems came from the app migration and backend updates we recently carried out. These changes were designed to make the platform more reliable long term, but for some customers like yourself, the transition was far from smooth, and I fully understand how frustrating that must have been.
We’ve been working on strengthening the app, servers, and overall connectivity so that reliability improves across all models. On top of that, we’re also expanding our UK technical support team to ensure issues can be resolved locally and quickly. I lost my wifi connection with the…
I lost my wifi connection with the charger when I changed broadband. I contacted them for help. The guy talked me through everything I had to do. It wasn't easy cos I'm essentially thick when it comes to Internet stuff but we got there in the end! Great service. Poor guy for having to deal with me!
