Hammad at Cigma Accounting has been looking after my accounts for my two limited companies and personal tax return. He has been very helpful and provided me with much advise and quality service to manage my accounts the best way possible.

Super easy process, with queries being answered within 24 hours. Alessandra and Nikki have been supremely helpful and turned my self assessment round without any delays. Very much recommend their services.

I have been using Cigma accounting for almost 10 years. In my view, it is one of the best accountancy firms in the UK including the big multinationals as PWC- Deloitte etc. What's makes them so good is the continues pursuit of improvement and development on the accountancy front, but also, focus in customer service. Continuous pursuit of improvement makes Cigma ACC a pioneer on almost every field of their business. This being legislation changes or using AI in accounting! Secondly, by having the customers needs on the forefront of their business, they actually take time to discuss and explain how things work to their client and ensure the best results for your business. I strongly recommend Cigma Acc services either for a start up or a well established LTD. Fantastic work guys keep it up!

Be aware of scamming.
At the biggening they are very nice and promise you a lot of things. Later on, however, no job being done. Has to chase them for everything, and it takes age for them to even reply or take actions.
When you stop paying them, because they are not providing the service, they are threatening you with debt collection agencies.
Had to pay £1,000 to another accounting team to fix their job the past 5 month back

I was not too pleased with the automated note reminder. it could be more user friendly and miss out the timeline threats.

I've updated this review since I originally posted it back in October 2023. My initial experience with Cigma was very much a love/hate relationship, but this has evolved now into a supportive and helpful partnership which I now enjoy and have decided that my previous rating and review is no longer fit for purpose.

When I first engaged with Cigma back in April 2023, I'd just begun starting up my own business, and Cigma offered to helpfully provide all of the services I needed to get started from setting up with HMRC, VAT registration, single director payroll, accounting etc... I was stepping into a lot of unknown territory having not done this before and I was looking for that support which I felt I needed. Whilst Cigma were initially very helpful, they were slow to setup my HMRC account, and I didn't have access to Quickbooks. Both of these issues and others dragged on for 6 months. This resulted in me receiving penalties from HMRC for missing NI and VAT returns.

After escalating and speaking with Haroon at Cigma to make him aware of the issues I was experiencing, he personally got involved and made changes to ensure my issues were being addressed. Over the next 6 months I noticed the staff changed, responses were more prompt and helpful, and I was back on track. The annual reports that Cigma have done for me such as self assessments and accounts to Companies House have been exemplary. Haroon himself is very knowledgable and has been incredible to speak to. I can't give them 5 stars due to my initial experience, however having seen the changes that Haroon has made and the time he's spent with me to put trust back into our partnership, it's a deserving 4 stars.

Constantly asking for things. Not necessary at all and am becoming very frustrated with it all

Anthony was very helpful with my 2022-23 tax-return and always responsive. He took all the time needed to answer my questions. As we are both French, it made things much easier for me as he understands both French and English tax systems. I highly recommend Anthony for his professionalism.
