Clients just returned from a one week trip to Sorrento planned by Mary and had such a wonderful experience

Flavia did an amazing job helping me book a two week vacation for my clients. She was very knowledgeable and quick to respond to emails. Flavia helped me customize tours for my clients specific interests. My clients had an amazing time in Italy!

The trip was laid out very well with easy to use package of instructions. Each experience, especially the golf cart tour, was not your usual tourist activity.

Venice, Italy - hotel was wonderful. Great location and centrally located to make walking easy. Tours were wonderful as well - both guides were excellent. Gondola rides are very overrated but you have to experience it at least once. We had an extra day so the gentleman that met us suggested we go to Murano to see the glass making - so glad we did. We also went to Burano and LOVED everything about it. Next was Florence. We were disappointed that we did not have transportation to hotel from train station. We ended up walking about an hour pulling heavy luggage otherwise we would have had to wait an hour or more for a taxi. Next time get people transportation. Our private wine tasting was not worth our time - our hostess was more interested in helping 3 gentlemen that came in for a large order of bottles of wine. Especially since we spent the entire next day at 3 wineries. The 3 wineries were very nice. Florence was not my favorite but was nice to visit. Hotel was nice but the people that worked there were not very friendly. Then Rome - which was wonderful. We started at the Vatican and Sistine Chapel - wonderful tour - guide was excellent. Then we had a golf cart tour which was fabulous - the guide was amazing!!! We visited Pisa which I enjoyed. Then we toured the Coliseum which was wonderful. That was the morning the Pope passed away. That tour guide was also wonderful. We then headed to Positano - my most favorite of the entire trip! EXCELLENT hotel and location!!!! Loved that we had an entire day to ourselves to walk around Positano. Our hotel was magnificent!!! Then headed to Sorrento with a stop at Pompeii. 2 hours was more than enough time there but glad we stopped. Onto Sorrento - can you say 5 STARS hotel!!! Our rooms were out of a dream! Actually both Positano and Sorrento hotels were marvelous!!! Right on the Mediterranean Sea - fabulous! I slept with my door overlooking the sea open every night!!! Sorrento was my second favorite place. We had a cooking class - which wasn’t as much cooking as I would have liked but the owner Charlie was wonderful. His winery was worth 6 bottles being shipped back to the states. Loved all the shopping and proximity to everything. Then onto Capri - enjoyed the day visiting The Blue Grotto and shopping all day. Overall, what I loved the most was that we were not jammed all day with multiple tours. We had about one a day and some days with none so we were able to see the sights but also have our own time to do what we wanted. The trip was a trip of a life time and I enjoyed everything about it. Thank you!!!!

Loved the efficiency of the taxi service, that was part of our tour. The drivers were on time and very professional! Having greeters when we arrived into the different cities on our tours was such a nice addition to our experience. It allowed us to relax and know we were in good hands and didn’t have to worry about getting around on our own.
The golf cart tour with Sam in Florence was so much fun and interesting. We also really enjoyed our tour guides Rosella, Max, and David in Rome!
We really enjoyed the hotels in all the cities we were booked. They were located in great areas, central to interesting sites!

Trip to Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome:

All the hotels were central to sites and had wonderful breakfasts. Transfers were seamless, on time and with pleasant staff. Tours were top notch

every step of the trip was perfect. The cars and travel arrangements really helped me stay on time and safe. The drivers were wonderful and extremely helpful. The cars were clean and comfortable. Divers were waiting for me at every stop.

All of our guides and assistants were reliable, courteous and helpful. Most guides provided interesting tidbits and back stories on our tours. We found it assuring to have assistance navigating from one activity to the next. We would highly recommend Ciao Italy in planning your trip to Italy! This was our first trip to Italy from the USA and my husband’s first trip to Europe. Our driver was there to meet us at the airport upon arrival pointing out different sites along the way to our hotel. Trains and schedules were easy to follow. Our tours and guides were fantastic! Each guide was a native to the area we visited and gave us the experience of living like a local. And each tour provided us with a taste of the different sections of Rome. And all guides were experts in what they were showing us. Highlights include Vatican Museums and all the significant pieces of art. By explaining the Sistine Chapel before we went in we could experience it with the silence and respect one should do when entering this Chapel. Our guide to the Uffizi in Florence was a native to Florence and an art history major and her expertise and knowledge of the various paintings and rooms brought those pictures to life. The guides navigated us through all the construction for the jubilee and still were able to show us all the Piazzas and Fountains. The cooking class was phenomenal and gave us hands on experience of shopping in the market for our ingredients as well as making the food. He even treated us to breakfast as we walked to the cooking studio! We can’t wait to return to Italy and will definitely be using Ciao Italy to plan our next visit!!!🇮🇹❤️😃
