My husband and I are both temple endowed, tithe paying LDS members and have donated hundreds of hours of our time, happily, to the LDS Church through our various callings. He is 75 a decorated 100% services connected disabled US veteran, missing 1/4 of his brain. I am 78 also legally disabled with epilepsy. We have been treated, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, worse than dirt by our bishop and Relief Society president. As just one tiny example, once, when I was bed ridden with the "flu" (now my husband is not cognisant enough to even KNOW to eat), I asked our ward Relief Society President politely to please have some of the RS ladies bring by a few meals for my husband and I. (My weight was dropping dangerously low at that time, and I weighed 83 lbs.) We have no family or friends we can ask for help. This is LITERALLY what that RS president (who is an hospital emergency room RN, by the way) said, and I quote: " I'VE BEEN IN YOUR HOME AND SEEN YOUR HUSBAND. HE LOOKS LIKE HE CAN OPEN A CAN. TELL HIM TO OPEN UP A CAN AND HEAT UP THE FOOD." (She knew my husband has severe TBI and Alzheimer's dementia.) I told our self-centered cold hearted bishop what the RS president had just told me, AND HE SUSTAINED HER, telling me, pretty much, the SAME THING. (This bishop is an MD opthamologist.) And....this is but a small example of how my severely disabled spouse and I have been treated by our ward's administration. I have BEGGED to be officially transferred to another ward, but our bishop stubornly refuses, telling me, "THAT'S just not how things are done in this church." If the LDS missionaries come to your door, no matter how nice those young people are, my advice to you is ......RUN as fast as you possibly can in the other direction, quick !!! This bosh that "the LDS Church takes care of it's own," is a blatant LIE, and simple PR. My disabled veteran spouse and I are living proof of that fact, unfortunately.

I was a member of the church for most of my life. They aren't transparent about finances and bishops pressured me into paying 10% of my disability to the church as tithing while raising 5 children as a single mom. Church leaders protect abusers and some are abusive themselves. I've been harassed and even shunned. It was also devastating to give my entire life to the church only to find out they lied to cover up the church's abusive, toxic, sexist, racist and even criminal past. What I'd been taught by the church to believe my entire life was all deceit just to keep the church (tax shelter) going and take money from me and my family.

I had missionaries come to my house for the last 4 weeks I went to the ward for 3 Sundays in a row. They told me they'd teach me about the religion I was really open to learning about it and introduce me to people. On the 4th visit they asked me for a baptism date. I did not learn very much about the religion in 4 weeks Noone would learn much about any religion in 4 weeks. I sent them the missionaries a msg explaining just that, that I didn't feel I had learnt enough about the religion to get baptised and they just ghosted me 100% not what I expected but that's how it was. For the 3 weeks my family and I went to the ward someone each time a complete stranger would take my 3 month old baby I have no idea where the last time I went I gave him to one of the missionaries who had been coming to my house. After the 1st hour when I went to get my baby from her she had passed him off to an older lady then that older lady had passed him off to 2 teenagers. I walk through the corridor and around the corner 2 teenagers are walking around with him. Absolutely not what I expected or was ok with. All they want is to get you baptised and move on to the next.

You cannot measure the worth of this church simply in a 5 star system. This church saved my life and I feel The Holy Ghost every time I go to church, except for maybe once and that was when I was in a bad mood and it was probably my own fault. Honestly, the bad reviews on this page aren't even written by people who have attended a meeting. I read the negative reviews and it's from people who just don't like LDS advertising, which is there to bring people to God. And one review said they are being stalked by the church, and that's a ridiculous claim. They are dramatizing because they don't like ads inviting them to church, or the claims that the church makes, that it is the restored gospel in earth. Or maybe a couple of missionaries have knocked on their door. But that doesn't constitute stalking.
The Book of Mormon is true. I have had many positive spiritual experiences with the Book of Mormon, with one very stand out experience. These spiritual witnesses have changed my life.
God is so good, His spirit is so good. And it's through this church that I've been brought so much closer to Him.

Pathological liars + there is no religion that need ads

I have never been to any of their services. I am being stalked by The church of Mormon. I want them to leave me and my family alone. You are not Latter Day Saints, saints are Catholic. Your culture is offensive. I am not interested in cults. Do not knock on my door ever again.

the church doesn't accept the lgbtqia community, and they force them to convert and believe the same things instead of validating their own beliefs.

The only useful information was from the BYU students but the church itself is rundown, low class, and uneducated.

Religion should be a choice and not spam ads to get clients/''believers''. Christians believe even killing someone can be forgiven, while ''rejecting/not believing'' in God leads you to hell. very manipulative

After Christmas, I bought a few things related to God and Jesus, and I noticed that—to this day—I keep getting ads for their free book. I’ve blocked their site thousands of times, but they keep spamming me with YouTube ads, and I don't believe they’re actually giving away a book for free. It’s also odd that it’s always the same girl. It’s a really weird site. I wouldn't give them my details for a free book that probably won't ever arrive. 1 star.

A total sect. I block every single youtube video, they show up every 3rd video. No way to contact them, no phone, email doesn't work, only contact form. after that they bother you 3 times a day how jesus is great and asking for donations. How can one block and sue them???????????

This church does not belive you have rights to be disabled and i have been for many years. They also promote you to work and get off disability. You ask them for food they will let you starve if you dont do what they ask including giving up your only source of income or many other requirements. And they have their own food to give. So this church is not good to ask for any assistance at all. And i was a member since birth.

The building is in a wonderful location in a gorgeous neighborhood. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has multiple Stakes and visitors that meet at this building but you have to have a temple recommend. On the outside they don’t have covered picnic tables. If your looking at doing outside activities they don’t have a field for sporting activities. On the inside of the building there is a chapel, baptismal font, sealing rooms, endowment room and various other rooms. The Logan Utah Temple is one of the most remarkable and historically significant Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. well i want to give zero star rating to this church Jesus accepts criminals terrorists rapists whose family gone through shame from societies and as a tag of shame the society gave with their voted fail authority the govt the death row prisoners trials were hardest and their families suffer through mental torture in professional sector and society but this church just cares about their own denomination growth in India they don't give prison ministry services to death row and their families so any church be it Pentecostal church in which i was a member for 4 years Carmel community church 8 years in this man made restored Mormon church where even prophet joseph smith fail to take that challenges to provide his restored gospel services and herbs to death row prisoners and their families so the Mormon church is also a false church both the Pentecostal churches and Mormon churches were false they don't practice what they preach first is we need to accept death row prisoners and provide spiritual guidance and rehabilitation to their kids and families of incarcerated women and men then we are showing this dual serpents society their chosen dual serpent failed govt authority that we are taking challenges we have not persecuted death row prisoners ad their families as lord Jesus himself gone through arrest court trials and capital punishment if any church cant provide services to death row prisoners rather providing services of fatal healthcare food vogues gossips and failed third class Bollywood entertainment then as a member i cant continue with these services they were giving to their baptized members for their own denomination growth participating in that will make me a layman working in prison ministry of India as a volunteer will give me a grand spiritual experience of serving gospel services to the death row prisoners and their families Jehovah and his son jesus christ is in my trials not these failed denominations with such failed and worst services they felicitate pastors bishops and 12 latter day saints prison ministry of India services is trillion times best than these false church denominations very soon once i get work as a volunteer will leave this church forever will suggest others never to visits such selfish church denomination whose services were just limited for their community and fo Christ believing dual serpents evil society but not extended to death row prisoners and their families

I do not wish to be a part of this so-called church, or should I say a cult. They are trying to get me involved by spamming with ads of super young girls on YouTube! This reminds me of Epstein... Maybe he was a part of this church as well. super weird...

The advertivement in youtube is annoying. Why would a church following the principles of jesus waste do much money on advertisement? And why are only showed young girls on those? Pretty disturbing

They are constantly advertising over YouTube, and I am constantly reporting their adverts which go against YouTube's policies.

We do not need people preaching over YouTube.

I definitely feel like a veteran when it comes to this church I have travelled all over the world and gone to many different churches. The thing I love the most about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is it's feels like the same church no matter where I go. The people are friendly they focus on Jesus Christ. There's lots of families. I don't find them to be the best singers, but the services are so real and genuine and I always feel the Holy Spirit and I love everything they teach about families such a great community church.

Amazing people to work with. So focused on being disciples of Jesus Christ.
