Awful Service - Scammed!
Awful service, took our money for the delivery.. never bothered to turn up. For some reason gave a random amount back as a refund, a very small proportion of what was taken. Now were fighting them to get our money back. All they say is the payment was void... well my bank statement says it was taken. Its as if were dealing with a scam.. Sainsburys should be ashamed! Were never use this service or shop at Sainsburys again ...!

Appalling service.. was late, chased it up and supposedly they were just waiting for a driver to deliver and as finished the call was immediately sent a cancellation of order email! Money taken from my account at check out so further call needed to request refund which would not be immediate. Will never use this service again

If I could give this review 0 I would. Sainsburys needs to end their association with Chopchop whoever they are ( 3rd Party). They did not luckily get any money from us but it was a inconvenience to our regular order because it blocked my bank card for our regular order! A major inconvenience and my card could have been declined with other uses through the day if I hadn't called the fraud dept at our bank! Sainsburys seems to be lacking understanding to this and are not forthcoming with satisfactory explanations. So I advise you NOT to use ChopChop
They stole my money and never delivered
They stole my money and said the item was delivered. When I called them they asked me to personally visit the local store and see if the deliverydriver returnedthe items to the store. The local store told me that I had to wait for an investigation as the driver confirmed the delivery. I was told to contact Chop chop after a week.
I contacted Chop Chop again in a week. There is no record of me ever calling them. I can't prove anything other than the fact that I ordered something from them. Never again

Pointless App with no supply chain nor process that can deliver the user experiences they claim to offer. Branded under Sainsbury’s but clearly a third party company. I placed an order with 4h notice of required delivery. Order was cancelled at 15min notice despite them taking full payment of £92 for which I’ve yet to receive a refund for, apology notification of any action. Sainsbury’s should be ashamed of promoting this company!!!
Absolutely Shocking Experience – Avoid Chop Chop at All Costs
If I could give Sainsbury’s Chop Chop service zero stars, I would. My recent experience has been nothing short of infuriating — a complete shambles from start to finish, and a stain on Sainsburys trusted household name.
I placed my first ever Chop Chop order on 21st June and what should have been a straightforward same-day delivery turned into an exhausting mess that remains unresolved 2 weeks later. The order never arrived. What did arrive — late — was someone else’s shopping. Despite catching the driver immediately and returning the goods, mine never materialised.
What followed was an embarrassing display of incompetence from every part of the Sainsbury’s chain. Chop Chop claimed my order was “delivered” and washed their hands of it. The store couldn’t help. The website didn’t recognise my order number. Facebook customer service had said they have no access to Chop Chop and more or less told me “good luck with that.” At every turn, I was bounced from one clueless department to another with zero accountability.
I’ve spent hours chasing a refund of £44.35, and even now, after being told it was processed, it still hasn’t reached my account. Apparently, after another wasted phone call, I now need to wait another five working days to maybe get my money back. Who knows? No one at Sainsbury’s seems to have a clue.
The most alarming part of this whole fiasco is the utter disconnect between Sainsbury’s services. Chop Chop operates in a black hole — no one knows how it works, no one has access to it, and evidently, no one is responsible for it either. It’s a customer service disaster zone. Even the online reviews reflect this — averaging a pathetic 1.5 stars. For a company of Sainsbury’s size and reputation, this is frankly shameful.
To say I regret choosing Sainsbury’s over their competitors is an understatement. They’ve taken my money, wasted my time, and left me completely unsupported. I will never use Chop Chop again, and after this experience, I’ll be reconsidering whether I trust Sainsbury’s with any of my custom at all.
They need to fix this mess — or stop offering a service they’re clearly incapable of managing.
First and last order!
Wish I had read these reviews before using! Dreadful experience first (and last) time. Uber driver texted he was at my address - he wasn't. I gave further directions and in the end I had to stand on the roadside looking out for Ubers to flag the car down! It was a DIFFERENT car to the one I'd had details for! Driver said my address was 1.3 miles from where it actually is. I had genuinely thought I would lose my order. In future I'll stick with Tesco Whoosh, NEVER had anything less than an excellent service from them. Sort this out, Sainsbury's!

Relativt trött Pad Thai, frågade om man fick ta påtår på kolsyrat vatten eller om det kostade.
Fick en spydig kommentar och personalen i fråga gick till sina kollegor och berättade att en kund frågat om dom fick ta påtår på vatten och att man var knäpp.
Varit på stället 10 gånger och det har historiskt varit väldigt god mat och bra bemötande, kanske bara en anställd som kanske inte bör arbeta på restaurang.

Saknad och fellevererad komponent
På väg genom Falun beställde jag online till mig, sambo och son. Upphämtat och på väg hem skulle jag äta min portion. Då har jag bara fått riset och min Pak choi tofu var inte med. Vände tillbaka för att hämta. Då visar det sig att jag fått en portion Bamboo beef istället!!?! Kul att luras i kött efter 25 år som veg. Fick gå in på hemsidan och jämföra de olika rätterna då jag inte var helt 100 på hur de såg ut, men att nåt inte stod helt rätt till var ju uppenbart. Blev turligt nog bara smakprov av den portionen. Första (och sista) gången jag besöker detta ställe. Mentalt äcklad och sjukt besviken!

If I could give the company zero stars, I would.
Order placed, accepted, monies taken. Sat waiting for order, which did not arrive. Checked emails to see order had been cancelled, saw another email saying order delivered. Called help desk to be told order was cancelled due to personal shoppers, however the app was still taking orders. Was told I would have to wait 5-7 days for refund, which was over £40. Called on day 7 and finally got monies returned.
Emailed sainsburys to complain, to be told chop chop operates independently and therefore call chop chop.
I am appalled that Sainsburys would put their name to this company/app as it obviously does not work. I can see most customers have experienced the same issues as I have.
First and last time I use chop chop. I have also stopped using Sainsburys as they must know how poor this company is working, yet still continues to work alongside them.
