What a great tour of a fascinating and beautiful country. As a person who lived through the sixties, I was ambivalent about going to a country we had been at war with. It was my husband’s idea and I’m so glad we went. The tour was well organized, very good tour guides, excellent food (ripe fruits that we don’t see in U.S.) pho, Asian and western. Good accommodations and several trips out on boats in the Mecong Delta and then Halong Bay. Good small group. Well done!

When I saw this offer on Travelzoo, I was skeptical because of the numerous typos and incorrect usage of grammar. That indicated to me that it was either fraud or a foreign company. It was the latter. That said, when we finally had contact with the company via email, our trip coordinator couldn't have been more helpful in guiding us through the process of the booking, tickets and trip. The lack of available information on their website was an additional source of unease but everything worked out in the end.

We joined Sinorama Holiday tours April 8-25, 2018 The tour was very good. We had Mike for our tour guide from the moment we arrived in Beijing until the return flight home from Shanghai. With Mike there never was a dull moment while we were with him. Good English speaker, helpful, very organized, knowledgeable and he made sure that we are well
Informed of our daily activities and the next day schedule. The weather was great during these dates. It was neither too cold nor too hot. It was perfect for the amount of walking required while visiting many different beautiful and historical sites like the Great Wall (highlight of our trip for me) , the GiantPanda Research and Reproduction Center of Chengdu, etc. Hotel accommodations were excellent except Crown Plaza where the room was more of a 3 stars than 5 stars and it smelled like a smoker room. However we were lucky to have an exceptional honeymoon suite in Zhongzhou Leading Hotel, in Zhengzhou. Food which were provided throughout (except for 2 days) were good, at least 6 course meal or more. I like Chinese food so no complaints on food. If you’re not fun of Chinese food you probably will get tired of it after a couple of days. Overall we enjoyed very much our 18 days trip there. Sinorama Holidays delivered with flying colors from the start of the reservation process until our arrival back home 🏠. 👍👍👍💕💕💕 :-). Thank You Sinorama Holidays.

A whirlwind mix of culture and history, this trip was a wonderful introduction to China. I appreciated both of our tour guides, the accommodations were beyond my expectations and the fellow tourists were a great group. I understood there would be the factory tours where we were expected to listen and buy if we wanted to. The Medicine center was a bit overwhelming but I counted it all as a part of my vacation experience. I was satisfied with the organization of the entire trip.

The tour guides were exceptional, the accommodations were luxurious. All the places we visited were beautiful and interesting. Everything ran seamlessly. Even the weather was fantastic! I had only hoped to have more interactions with the Chinese people. That was all that was lacking. I wouldn't recommend the Golden Dynasty show.

The trip was a big disappointment
They never told us before the trip that everything was closed due to the death of the king & all the extra money they charged us for extra activities was never refunded
So just to make sure u understand .
They took our money & never provided the service they promised
& on top of everything else
The extra 3 days trip we never got our second room like we were promised . So we had to share a room first night & pay the extra room out of my own pocket
The last day they forgot to pick us up for the airport. We had to pay for taxi from our own pocket
Call couple of times & talk to the manager / person who signed us up
He promised refund on the money we had to pay for all three people
But never refunded like he promised !!!!

Our tour specialist, Vivian, was great. The value of the trip was beyond our expectations.

We went to Thailand for 10 days (Bangkok and Phuket) and we had one excursion included; the price was great! The trip was fun.. however the return flights were a nightmare!!! Also, the staff at this agency were not very good as far as providing communication. We had planned this trip 10 months before the actual departure.. only to have the itinerary change two months before.
Probably wouldn’t use this agency again.

Great tour guides in both Beijing and Shanghai. The cost is definitely a plus... The whole tour price is just equal to the cost of airfare if i booked on my own. The hotels are first class. We do recommend your agency.

If you don’t speak the language it is very difficult to maneuver around the cities on your free days.

The tour was acceptable but at some points just brought to locations to buy stuff - seemed set up for the benefit of the sellers and possible kickbacks. Also some of the hotels in inconvenient locations and when nothing was offered much less included that was a negative - also the last guide should have done more to provide suggestions when nothing was offered

Had a great tour at a reasonable price. Be sure to tell people to bring US cash for optional tours. That was the only surprise.

I kept an open mind when I booked the tour. There were some communication problems with the agents in the US. My departing flight was cancelled, but nobody from China Tour informed me about it, instead I was notified by the airline company by email. Once we began the tour, everything went very smoothly and by far exceeded our expectations. All that was advertised for the trip was delivered. We had a wonderful time and would definitively recommend it to others.

Amazing trip! All the things provided on this trip makes it an amazing adventure. The tour company is easy to work with and all the overseas portions are great. This is our second trip to China with this company and would be willing to use them again.

Excellent for service and facility. All hotels are 5*, which is surprising for such unbelievable low priced tour.

It was a great tour, incredible price for such an extensive itinerary. The food started out well but the last half of the tour really declined. Frozen foods still cold or a lot of food with no flavor. Would have given this 5 stars but our meals were a big letdown.

This was a great trip--especially for the price we paid. I was skeptical at first that we might be in dump hotels and somehow get cheated because we were paying only $599 per person for airfare, hotels, breakfast buffet every day, entrance to the main sites (The Great Wall, The Forbidden City, The Bund, etc.), two+ cities (Beijing, Shanghai and areas near there) and English-speaking tour guides. Well, this was no scam. Everything was exactly as advertised, with some extras thrown in. We stayed in very nice hotels, were transported on clean comfortable busses and got to see a lot of China. Our guides were very knowledgeable, quite personable and very helpful. My only complaint is that the food on some of the included lunches and dinners was not very good. That's why I rated the trip four stars instead of five. So if you take this trip, buy some snacks for your hotel room. Other than that I highly recommend this trip and the ChinaTour Company.
