Racist vile cafe. Incredible rude blonde women serving and being aggressive towards staff. Best to avoid like the plague

Coffee was above average, and not a bad price. Staff seemed on edge, but when they can judge, but then don’t like to be judged, it’s understandable. There’s worse places to have a coffee, but, there are certainly better ones near by. People can make their own minds up, it seems equality only applies when it fits their narrative. Next time I visit the area, I’ll choose somewhere else

Love this place a friend and I recently visited to see what this place is all about well we were totally impressed by the lovely food and coffee served to us by the most friendly staff truly 5 star and so inclusive everyone was welcome

Incredibly rude staff. Discriminates anyone who has opposing views to themselves. They do not believe in a democracy ….. not very inclusive of them ….

Staff are incredible - They do not allow customers to feel threatened or harassed and truly care about integrity. the cafe is gorgeously vintage and the menu is outstanding!

The one star reviews are simply trolls with nothing better to do. The cafe is not “cult-like” nor are the staff prejudiced - they are genuinely wonderful people.

For food - it’s got to be one 1 star for places I've been to. I've never been served such poor quality and low standard food and the coffee was weak and only just warm and followed by rude staff and long wait times to .I definitely will not be returning.

They’re mean, rude, condescending, and they discriminate against those with different beliefs.

They will discriminate against you based on your beliefs and they’ll happily be rude to you. They’ve stopped people being able to leave google reviews

And the other customers were extremely arrogant and busy body’s and the blonde chubby lady in front of the pride flag needs re training. She shouldn’t be working In hospitality - rude establishment stay clear. Of this place from what I see

What a great find. I couldn't help myself so I went for the Big Red Breakfast and I will be coming back for more.

It saddens me the place is currently bombarded by one star reviews from bigots whom the lovely staff denied service, which every eatery has a right to. Cherry Reds is a lovely, inclusive place and the staff is warm and welcoming, but at the same time has a "no place for racism in society" ethos, which is just north of awesome.
The food is great, the place is nice, the staff is lovely. You will have a great time and enjoy great food!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Cherry Reds. A lovely little space in the heart of Birmingham. If you enjoy your cafes a little bit quirky with something to say, then I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

It has also come to my attention that Cherry Reds is currently being bombarded on Google with spiteful one-star reviews from a selction of people who were refused service at the cafe because of their prejudicial views. Pay this venom no mind. Cherry Reds is a wonderfully inclusive and supportive business, but at the same time it reserves the right to stand up for its beliefs and the beliefs of its real patrons. Report these one-stars, as they are not genuine and are being posted collaboratively in an attempt to drive down business. I see that one of these people has posted a one-star on here as well. I suspect they were attending a certain "rally" and were looking for somewhere to sit arounnd and discuss how White and Right their views are. Despicable behaviour.

Lovely bar and fantastic food. Highly recommended. Wonderful friendly staff.
