We booked the Grange for our mum's surprise 70th. Good local venue with various price packages. We went for the cheap/basic option, with a few of our own decorations the place looked really good. Abbie (manager) was very helpful and friendly. It had everything we needed and you can get quite a few people in there. Having a seperate bar area next to the main room, instead of one large room, works really well. All the guests had a good time. We'd definitely recommend the Grange as a good little venue and worth checking out!

The grange have hosted two parties of ours and we have had an amazing experience! Both events close to our hearts. The first was a ring the bell party for my little sister who had just finished chemotherapy. The girls made a beautiful balloon arch to match her theme and supported every request. The second was my little sisters funeral wake. The girls helped us to set up and were great hosts! They recommended a really good DJ that hosts events at the grange and had everyone on the dance floor the whole night! In a dark time it was well needed. Would 100% use again💜

Abbie and Libby supported us in booking, setting up and running a 30th birthday party for my husband. They where great with all our guests old and young and couldn't have asked for a better venue or team for our event. Will definitely be recommending the grange for anyone's future requirements.

My first experience, to be honest I was very disappointed when we walked into the boat. It was really warm as soon as it got busy. The heating was turned down. It was very cold inside the boat throughout our Meal, Also when we chose our food from the menu the food arrived very quickly, no issues with that, then our meals came out to the table was very rushed. We was not asked if we wanted a mail to come straight after one another, or even ask would you like to have a drink then the next starter then duck then main course came out as so we finished each course it was immediately brought out, and as we ordered far too much food, we was given the takeaway tubs for food to box ourselves. Personally they should have taken the food away and done that in the kitchen. Being so cold inside the boat turning he heating down this did affect my partner as she’s got rheumatoid arthritis yes it winter, but once she’s inside the warm she’s able to function normally being so cold inside the restaurant, she was struggling to move her arms, also I would like to mention for my first experience. When we ran out of drinks on the table, we had to get the staff to actually get more drinks me personally rather than worry about the food coming out straight after one another it would of been nice for one of the whitest actually go past and ask us would anyone like another drink that never happened would I go back? No chance Also the toilet you have to go through the main entrance outside then back inside to access the toilets, that should definitely be looked out I could put a canopy up all the way

My twins18th party was absolutely amazing. The staff were absolutely superb and kept up well with the demand. Disappointed the alcohol all ran out 2 hours before the end. The staff literally did the best they could with what they had. But quite a few guests were not impressed with the lack of stock. The balloon ring and service was outstanding. Thanks for having us.

The Grange hosted my daughters 18th Birthday party and was a great venue who answered all questions I had before the party and did everything to help me setup, run and enjoy the evening and then cleaned up for us after the event. Thank you

Great event just a view issues 1 got addressed and turned out fab DJ great package offer very reasonable would def book again . But they need to keep ahead with drink situations make sure there is always a spare . Be a bit forward and if next customer would like decorations as I would have jumped at the chance exp as the night b4 was same age celebrating GUTTED . Miss understanding thought we couldn’t get in to venue till 5pm wished I wasn’t to shy to have asked as my daughter said they can only say no but if I did it would have been yes but that’s just criticism for them to go forward as it was brilliant night worth every penny so worth asking worth booking

We held my husband’s 60th here. From start to finish Abbie, Libby & their team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and their lovely friendly natures made everyone feel welcome. We hired the DJ as part of the package & he played a great variety of songs & put up with all of our requests. At the end of the evening we were asked what we wanted to keep and then all the tidying up was done. We had an amazing night and Abbie & Libby really helped make it a night to remember. Can’t recommend them enough.

Abbie is a star, doing everything she can to make it a good experience. She does everything with a smile on her face, and nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent hosts, listened to what we would like and met our requests perfectly. Clean venue, plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend and use again.

From day 1 Abbie was extremely helpful with answering all our questions (there were lots) she always went beyond to assist us making sure we had the set up we wanted for our wedding. On the actual evening Abbie didn't stop on a very hot day to help us and our guests to give the best experience. Abbie was excellently supported by Libby who mirrored Abbie with her hard work and dedication. They were an excellent team that completed each other and it was huge pleasure to have had them there on our day. Highly recommend this venue based on their professionalism alone. Thank you both.

I came to a birthday party here the other month & have just come across their Facebook page & had to leave a review!.
On the night there was two young girls on the bar, we could not fault them.
Both girls were friendly & provided a quick service to ensure the bar line was never there.
If I was to ever need a hall I would definitely be booking The Grange Venue.
