I am writing this to warn potential customers: my experience with CheckMyPaper cost me $735 and resulted in zero usable service. My nightmare began when I purchased a $600 Turnitin account from them, which stopped working in less than 24 hours. They admitted to reselling unstable, cheap accounts but took no responsibility.
Hoping to salvage the situation, I paid another $135 for their subscription service. The site was down 50% of the time, and when it did work, the reports were clearly manipulated "close copies" with misaligned highlights—not the official Turnitin reports they advertised. As a technician, I tried explaining that file compression doesn't cause these errors, but the founder, Hazel, dismissed me with nonsense excuses.
When I finally asked for a partial refund of just $90 for the unused days, the hostility was shocking.
