Title: Need help – No ticket issued after payment

I booked a flight through CheapFlyShop and paid CAD 1144.38 for a Montreal to Tunis flight in July.

After payment, I only received a booking reference (CFSC...) but no official airline PNR or e-ticket number. I contacted the company and requested cancellation, but they told me my booking is still under review.

I also checked with Tunisair to verify the reservation, and I am currently waiting for confirmation.

I am very worried because I see many similar complaints online.

Has anyone experienced the same situation? Were you able to get your money back through your credit card company?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I tried them for 1st time ..booked airline tickets , They gave us the confirmation ( their conf.Nor airline Conf. so i can't check with airline company ). They said before a week from departure day they will email your airline confirmation # with seat number .
They charged total over 2k , They said don't worry the ticket will be good 100% . Before a week from the day we flight no emailed or phone called from them . I called they said the flight canceled give them 24-48hours to confirm and give me a call , no called back...
Two days later ( only 5 days from departure days ) we called in they said flight cancel and will return my money in a months ( that's mean they kept my money 2 months)
THEY STILL NOT CREDIT MY MONEY BACK YET ( 4 months already)
I called them many they always said they returned money already (ant time i called they said different day to returned the money , they lied to you ) they didn't give you the proof to show they credit back ...
My credit card company said they never see the credit back from them , I moved it to dispute case s.
Please ...don't try them if you don't lost money like me !!!!

Bought a ticket and received confirmation. 2.5 hours later, they called and said the ticket at that price was no longer available. Urslan was very hard to understand and was clearly frustrated when I would not just agree to the new extra charge of $300 that would secure the ticket. They explained that this happens every so often because they are the middle man between the airline and the customer.
I asked for a manager and talked with Sammy Lindz. Also very difficult to understand with a heavy accent. (I do feel they gave bogus names). Sammy didn’t have much better news - he still wanted to sell me the new ticket for $150 - they refused to cover the entire amount, but would cover half.
A complete scam.
Do not recommend.
I explained that they are admitting there’s a seat on the flight….but they just won’t budge on honoring their own word.

I booked a flight for my wife and I to go from CMH to FLL round trip. We booked the flight 4-months early, just to get good seats at a fair price. We were to go onboard a cruise ship in FLL port. The day before our flight, I tried early boarding check-in with SWA and was told my tickets had been cancelled and refunded 2-months earlier. I was outraged! I explained that I had never cancelled and I had never received any refunds. Southwest Airlines said the only thing they could do since I did not book my airfare thru them was to come into the airport immediately and purchase another airfare. I took all of my info and receipts to SWA counter and proved with bank info I had never cancelled airfares or received any refunds. SWA told me Cheapflights said my VISA card was no good and all refunds should be delivered back to me, but they gave SWA different emails and addresses for the refunds. I live in Newark Ohio, and the refunds went to someone in Omaha Nebraska. I showed SWA my email address on my receipts from SWA for my Flight Upgrades sent by SWA, and my email did not match the emails where SWA sent the refunds. I was SCAMED and SWA was SCAMED!! Bottom line I had to pay for another pair of Airline tickets just to make it to Florida in time to board my cruise ship.

Faites attention, après 24h on m’appelle pour dire qu’on est dans la liste d’attente et elle me propose de payer 400$ par personne pour 4 personnes si je veux avec une autre compagnie. Rembourser impossible, donc l’objectif est de prendre l’argent qui n’est pas remboursable après on te demande de payer plus.

I went to cheapflights.com and clicked on Fareodaddy.com, now understood as a partner in crime, to book a flight. Right after booking, I got an email stating my tickets had not been purchased, then got a text to call Dustin at 866-309-2175 right away. I called and he answered, "hi" which alarmed me that this might be a scam. Then he proceeded to tell me (typical bait and switch) that they couldn't get my flight but for more money, they could get me another flight to another airport and at a different time that didn't work for me. I asked to just cancel and he told me I couldn't cancel and just argued with me. I disconnected the call, and the emails started coming in one after another threatening me if I didn't confirm the alternate flight. I sent an email to cancel, they are not authorized to charge my credit card and not to contact me again. This morning, there are a bunch of fraudulent charges to my credit card for almost the same amount as the flight I booked. Do NOT do business with this company.

Très mauvaise expérience , 5 minutes après avoir faite ma réservation , un agent nous appelle pour nous dires que nous avons acheter un billet ‘stand by ‘ qu’il faut se présenter à l’aéroport 5 heures avant le vol pour voir si ils ont de la place ….. sinon retourner le lendemain , c’est alors qu’ils nous offres un autre billet à 4 fois lendemain prix …. Des escrocs , J’ai demander de canceller , ils n’ont pas voulus , j’ai fait une demande de cancellation à ma carte de crédit ….. j’attends des nouvelles

I wouldn't even give them one star. I booked my flights, they took my card information and one hour later I get an email asking me to call them. They can not confirm one of my flights because it is overbooked. In order to get that flight it was more then triple the cost. I said please cancel. They said my Airline has to refund me not them. I call the airline and there is no record of my booking

Be very mindful and do your research before using this site. We booked two flights in December 2025 for a trip in April. We called their customer service in March because the confirmation # we were emailed didn’t pull up any flight information on the airline website.

We were told that our flight was cancelled by the airline on 2/15 but they couldn’t tell us why we were never notified or why we were never refunded. They simply kept telling us that they could book us new tickets on a different flight at the same date, time and cost. At that point I knew that this was a scam.

We contacted the airline and were told that the flight # we were given never existed but they did have a legitimate flight on the same dates and times.

This “company” will use legitimate flight dates and times but will assign them bogus flight numbers so it looks legitimate.

We will be contacting our credit card company to submit a fraud claim.

I only gave one point because I had to to write this review. I’m very annoyed with cheap flights because I use their website which took me to kayak which took to flight clicks. Who seemed very professional on the phone but sadly due to lots of things I realise it was a scam they are refusing to give me my hundred pound deposit back And it appears they do this all the time booking through cheap flights and kayak I presumed this website was legal. It is based in Birmingham but I think it is very dodgy and if you read the reviews they are awful, but as I said, going through cheap flights and kayak, I trusted them.

If I could give a zero, I would. Booked a flight in February and was told today my flights were cancelled. Customer service was extremely rude and I still did not get any information about this until I called myself. Waiting for my refund and hoping I get it.

Every time I went on it kept wanting the count of people and I had put in 1 person and it still wouldn’t show me the possibilities to book something and I really needed to do it sooner than later!!!! Very upsetting for a senior citizen!!!!! Geez!

Less than a week before my flight I call because I don’t have the flight confirmation number. I am then told that the airline canceled my flight and I’m going to be refunded in 7-14days. I asked why they didn’t call and tell me that might flight was cancelled for overbooking and they said that it just happened. When I go to the actual airline website, the flight I was booked on is showing available. They were never going to tell me. I booked my flight over a month ago and now I can’t afford to go to my sister’s wedding because tickets are crazy high for a flight that is 3 days away. I will NEVER use their site again! I’ve never used a 3rd party site for booking flights and I shouldn’t have just to try and save a hundred bucks and now the tickets are way more expensive than they were. I’m very disappointed. I’ll probably have to fight to get my money back.

This company is a scam. They took my money, but never delivered the airline ticket

SCAM! After I purchased my tickets, they called me saying my flight was full and I would then have to pay $200+ more for a different flight. I told them no that isn't the truth, as I went on the official AA site and they had 40+ seats available. Then they went on to tell me that it wasn't available. I then said never mind and I am cancelling my tickets. They said tickets are non-refundable I said ok I'll just dispute any charges… be careful .

Total scam, via one of the listed suppliers of services. Scammed in total for nearly £3000.

This was the worst experience in my 50 years of air travel I have ever had booking a flight. The service sucked from the first booking (I should have cancelled then) with having to spend nearly an hour in confirmation on the phone (after I had booked online). Then they never sent my e-tickets so I called the week before the flight. At that point they told me that my flights were cancelled. There was no notification of this and they had already charged my credit card.
STAY AWAY!

Scammers. Booked flight Nov 2025 for Dec 2025 to Arizona. Week prior to trip I call because never got real Itenerary. Was told flight was canceled but they never notified me. Told me I get refund 15 to 20 days. We'll it's now February 2026 and I still haven't gotten it. Their rude and a bunch of foreign liars.
