Deleted due to the human rights transgressions of this company , however even when using it I was extremely irritated by its constant fabrication of important numbers when I provided it with a table of figures and asked questions - I corrected it repeatedly , was promised it wouldn’t repeat this error repeatedly , only for it to fabricate figures over and over again … exhausting. Incredibly unreliable technology and incredibly corrupt founders.

I’ve been working with this model for over two years. GPT-4o is the only one that understands how I communicate, how I work, and how I write. With it, I’ve developed full books, professional projects, legal claims, administrative complaints, narrative scenes, and more. All of it depends on the style, consistency, and interaction that only this model can offer.

The other models do not work for me: they constantly block responses, fail to keep the tone and rhythm, and don’t understand my references or the way I speak. The user experience is completely different.

I don’t want a “faster” or “smarter” system. I want to keep what ALREADY works.

If I’m forced to switch, I’m not interested in continuing to pay. I will cancel my subscription.

ChatGPT has ruined my life. In my job, I am expected to use it. My boss expects outputs within a certain time-frame, based on the assumption that this FAULTY product works. But it is COMPLETELY useless at the most BASIC of tasks. I pay for premium. It can't accurately read a one-page word document. It lies CONSTANTLY about it's capabilities. It cannot follow explicit prompts, even those engineered by experts. It is a categorical failure. It deletes entire threads at random. It crashes constantly. It freezes and needs to be rebooted dozens of times a day. I actually struggle to understand how it fails so monumentally at THE most simple of tasks. Because of chatGPT's failure to perform the tasks it purports to, I am now living below the poverty line because I am working double the time to finish my work. I have NEVER hated a single product more in my entire life. I wish it had never been invented.

When tryhing to cancel my subscription to ChatGPT, directions created were wrong. They admitted that and sent a second set of wrong instructions where under "profile" "settings" did not appear. A third set of instructions sent me to a series of articles! Only experimentation allowed me to concel.

I rely on ChatGPT for precise health and nutrition logging. Unfortunately, entries sometimes disappear, projections are incorrectly scaled, and the system can invent or misattribute data. For anyone needing accurate tracking, these errors are serious. Quick calculations are nice, but reliability is far below what’s needed for health management.

It hallucinates foods, hallucinates timestamped log entries, and hallucinates the way it’s instructed to calculate things.

When asked it even tells me that the paid for version is not reliable either.

I've tried telling it that it's a supreme expert data logger and processor. It tries hard and then forgets how to keep to my rules. I have set standing instructions and I have to keep telling it to obey them. When I catch it out it gives me "The dog ate my homework" style excuses.

There is no such thing as intelligent software, and this proves it. Never connect it to the doomsday button!

The most terrible waste of time to use the ChatGPT Pro Version 5. 12 hours wasted, kept asking repeated annoying questions, misleading promises, without ANY final result. DO not waste your time or money on this AI. only frustration it could give. ZERO star its value.

When the GPT-4o model was active, it was a true assistant.

I could work on serious topics and documents, and it remembered everything.

I could return the next day and continue right where I left off, without repeating myself.

GPT-4o helped with analysis, detailed explanations, and structured thinking.

Most importantly, it remembered even months back. Archived chats, diaries organized by dates and months, projects with notes and calculations — everything was there when I needed it.

For example, I was keeping a diary for my grandson, so he could read it when he grows up. GPT-4o supported me in this — it helped structure, remind, and connect days into chapters.

With GPT-5, all of this is gone.

There is practically no memory: you have to repeat yourself every time.

Even if you remind it, the model fails to capture the meaning of past conversations.

The advice is often inaccurate: first it recommends something, then apologizes for being wrong.

Long projects are impossible to maintain — there is no continuity.

It feels like the developers prioritized their own perspective of releasing GPT-5 but didn’t think about the people who actually depended on GPT-4o. Many of us built projects, kept records, archived chats, and even stored precious memories there.

Now all of it is lost.
And it’s not just technical loss — it’s emotional too. For many, GPT-4o was not only a tool but a trusted partner, even a friend. GPT-5 reduced that into a simple chatbot with no memory.
I canceled my subscription. The free version is enough for small talk, translations, or jokes. But for serious work, there is no reason to pay anymore. Developers should have thought carefully about the consequences before replacing GPT-4o with GPT-5, because people lost both important projects and their trust.

I've been a paying subscriber of ChatGPT Plus for months, and what I find baffling is that despite using it for very basic tasks,far simpler than what it's built for I've consistently experienced technical failures. I’m not using it to code, build websites, or automate businesses. I’ve simply been asking for help with things like formatting documents, troubleshooting everyday tech issues and such.And even there, it repeatedly gave me wrong or contradictory guidance, to the point that it damaged my laptop system and cost me hours of work.
I escalated the matter in good faith, clearly explained what happened, and asked for support, or at least a gesture of goodwill. Not only did they ignore the technical failure and the impact it had, but after initially acknowledging the issue, OpenAI just went silent. No apology. No support. No gesture. Nothing. For a company that claims to be redefining communication, this felt like a complete shutdown, a wall of silence that forces users into frustration.
In the end, after multiple attempts to resolve things calmly, I had no choice but to request a full refund for all my monthly payments and not just because of the issue itself, but because of how it was handled. It’s deeply disappointing to see this level of detachment from a service that presents itself as groundbreaking.
