Vinyl storage boxes in oak finish - brilliant
Ordered three 'small' vinyl storage boxes in oak. Price was very good so my expectations were not great but... the product was excellent - good, high density materials, high production standards with precision drilling, excellent fittings for self assembly. Took time working out instructions for the first unit but the others took less than 10 minutes each. They even supplied one extra set of fittings just in case. The finished stack of units is both attractive and sturdy. Well pleased.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!
We’re really pleased to hear that you’re happy with the quality, finish and sturdiness of the storage boxes. It’s great to know that once you’d gotten the hang of the first one, the others were quick and easy to assemble too!
We appreciate your kind words and hope you enjoy your new vinyl storage units. Thanks again for choosing us!
Kind regards,
Charles Jacobs Customer Care Team
I bought an item advertised as oak
I bought an item advertised as oak, when it arrived it quite clearly wasn't. I can only presume from the great reviews on here that no one has had to use customer services... I was told I would pay to return this heavy item. I advised the advisor that consumer rights protect us from such eventualities and I will not be paying to return an incorrectly described item. I am yet to hear back. I am in no doubt after such a response I will have to take this matter further.
How very surprising and completely disappointing.
* In response to your reply, collection was only arranged once I advertised your advisor of my consumer rights. It's really concerning that your customers have to advise you of this otherwise they are left with an item they didn't order.

Dining chairs
I bought 4 chairs that are impossible to build due to the pre drilled holes on the seat pad not lining up with the legs. This company has no contact number. They have been very difficult to deal with when trying to get a refund for faulty goods and not adhering to the consumer rights act.
Buyer beware. Appalling customer service do not use this company.

Hello,
As we have confirmed in our email to yourself with images and a video, there is no fault with your items, the problem you had was due to incorrectly assembling the legs the wrong way round.
I can confirm that your refund was issued when we have received the item back.
