Sucked!

I back the project on Oct 2023 where it stated that it it on the shipping stage and the item should have been shipped out on Sept 2023, however, I haven't received anything now on Jan 2024.

Ordered a Zeus charger. First delivery came with months of delay and did not work! Got a replacement again with months of delay and it’s again not working (the EU plug adaptor is not working where as the other do). Do they test items before sending them out? Wonder how such a company can survive. They don’t follow European laws as to money back guarantee. 8 months after placing the initial order, I have a not working unit and one where the adaptor is not working. Asked for a free replacement and some compensation for the catastrophic customer service!
Don’t buy anything there!!!

This travel charger is the first thing I pack for every trip. Blistering fast charging for my MacBook Pro, two iPhones, Android fixes and drones. I only need one plug advert in the world thanks to the multiple plug attachments.

The only improvements I could suggest would be adding an international plug socket to it so I could plug in other chargers, if that could be done without making it bigger. Or making all of the adapters rotating like the US one for awkward wall sockets.

Rubbish products and terrible customer service. They promise so much and when things go wrong you will be left without support. I had to wait for over year for replacement of a faulty part. I fitted it and month later the entire unit blew up. They aren't replacing it. Don't buy anything from these people unless you like terrible communication, inferior products and flushing good money down the drain.

I've purchased 3 different products from Chargeasap and either they didn't work or they were defective. The amount of work you have to go through to prove their crappy products are defective is also rediculous. I had to video a product that was dead. No lights no anything, but they still wanted a
video of their dead purchased. Obviously, they make the replacement process as difficult as possible so you give up and they walk away with your money from a difective piece of garbage.

On top or the garbage you have to go through to prove their theft, if you want a replacement for your defective product, they expect you to pay the shipping which ultimately means another financial outlay on the customer's part. I've given them numerous opportunities to make good on their products to no avail. They want the customer to fork out more good money after bad. I'm disappointed with myself for paying for the shipping on product #2 and then buying an additional product which turned out to be defective. Full circle! They're just too hard to deal with.
By the way, they call their support team "happiness team" which is jusst more 'bull' and is ridiculous since there has never been happiness when working with Chargeasap.

Aren't there consumer laws around 2 years of warranty on electronics? They probably know this and that's why they want more money for shipping since their replacements team must be working overtime and the shipping costs for all the defective replacement would put them out of business.

Buyer beware of Chargeasap. They sell garbage and don't back their products.

Customer support is non existent.
Supported them on indiegogo and my Omega200W was meant to come with travel adapters. They sent out an email that I can get charger sooner and pay extra $9 for shipping of adapters to come at later date. I opted for that and glad I did, as after multiple emails for the past 14 months still no sign of adapters.

After writing this review I was finally sent the adapters. Make a conclusion yourself. Also those adapters are of not the same kind of white as the charger, more like antique white/yellowish.

After waiting months for a warranty claim, i was told id have to wait until they had shipped all other customers units. After another 2 months they then tried to charge me $30AUD for shipping and gad the audacity to try upsell me more stuff to “take advantage of tge same shipping fee” im seeking help from ACCC now”

Never received my product, non-existent support. I ordered a powerbank from Chargeasap via Indiegogo in July 2023 and shipping was estimated to also happen in July 2023, but nothing happend - never got a shipping notification or anything. A month later I contacted their support - multiple times - but always got told they forward the inquiry to their fulfillment department and never heard back. After I posted a comment on indiegogo, suddenly someone reached out to me and investigated - turned out they are not able to ship to my country (even though I selected it in the purchasing process and ordered with shipping included) and they now want 90 USD on top for shipping. When I mentioned that thats not acceptable (and I even offered to have it shipped to another country) they wanted to double check on their side again but after that I never heard back from them.

No idea if the product is any good, they don't even manage to deliver them. Also seems like I'm not the only one that never received anything...

Edit after reply from Chargeasap: I already reached out to the support months ago, as mentioned in my initial review already (not sure if it even got read properly). Lately I got mails from the support wanting to close the ticket due to inactivity, but the support team mentioned they reach out with further information - which did not happen - so I replied two times already that I'm still waiting for further information by them.

Great (looking) product, HORRIBLE SUPPORT.

I was/am one of the Kickstarter supporter for the Zeus. It was delivered in early July and worked great for almost a week. Since it died, I've had to submit video proof of failure and have been waiting since then for a replacement. At least one of my inquiries was met with a 'do not reply or this case will get restarted back with low priority' response. Since then they have been actively promoting and shipping new orders. Finally, 2 weeks ago I received a response that they had 'finished shipping kickstarter orders' and were working on a replacement build, and that I was deemed qualified to receive one. I know they've been actively shipping new orders, while my repair/replacement sits. Much lower in the queue. 4 months later...

Chargeasap responded to this review, but has not replaced my unit yet. Last promised replacement date was "December". A lot of talk (new features for other people), but no action (for me). So I leave my review unchanged.

Absolutely negative experience. The ZEUS 270W charger I got from their Indigogo campaign stopped working after two uses. They've been telling me for months that they will send a replacement but at the moment it's just talk, no facts.
If and when they prove to be a serious company by making the replacement, I will change my rating.

Zeus not working. Had to send a video to prove it, which I did. This was now a month ago and I can’t get any response from customer service even though I tried multiple times and different channels. Avoid!

UPDATE: after several promises the replacement unit has still not arrived. Last time I was promised shipment around February 26th 2024. It is now April 18th 2024 and nothing has shipped. So to sum up it has now been 8 months since I reported the faulty product and I have still not received the replacement that I've been promised (multiple times). BEWARE!

PS. "Customer Happiness Team" is really not an appropriate title..

They send out incomplete Accessories like their magnetic cable without the necessary tips. Without their special magnetic tips, these cables are completely useless. You can’t even simply buy magnetic tips from Amazon because they aren’t standardized. Thus, selling these cables without the necessary tips is like selling a car without an engine. Looks nice but you can’t possibly use it without that. Pretty dumb business decision. Their customer ‘support‘ is also completely incompetent. I told them about that and they said, I should just buy their magnetic tips which would have set me back another $30 with shipping, tax, customs etc. So I had no use for their special cable and of course I can just buy magnetic cables that are sold as a complete product on Amazon for much less.

Massive delay in delivery, then when it finally arrived, it was not working, black display. Contacted Customer Care, had to send a Video showing it is not working. Since the video was sent, 3 weeks ago, no feedback, no solutions offered, nothing!
Avoid this comapany!

1. Received the omega charger and reported it as faulty in Feb-23, uploaded full video verifying with my Shargeek battery pack which has a nice wattage display that the PD port was faulty
2. After several follow ups and no commitment to redeliver in Jun-23 requested a refund, which I was told was not possible.
3. Fast forward to Aug-23 again with lots of follow ups on my side and little back, I'm asked to pay for postage (again!) And to add insult to injury they try to upsell buying more products when considering the shipping fee.

Safe to say I've told them I'm not paying due to the terrible lead times to replace their faulty product, awful customer services with clearly scripted responses and cheek to ask to pay for shipment again.

Will never purchase from them again, as they simply don't want to do the right thing.

Terrible packaging of components in the mail with lack of adequate packaging causing damage to the charger and cable was damaged in opening the package.
Poor consideration to safety with use of flimsy plastic with poor environmental impact. The service was poor in addressing this issue and deferred the issue to the receiver.

Booked an Omega charger from their Indiegogo campaign, later due to many production problems and way over due upgraded to two Zeus Chargers. The port panel of the black one was not sealed to the body and pops out this is a dangerous defect as leaves the device open and if connected to the power supply can electrocute a person. Emailed them provided photo and they updated their campaign webpage to acknowledge manufacturing defect and respond with an email saying they would get back to in mid June but since then ghosted me.
Warranty worthless
Customer support a joke to non existent.
Purchase products from this company at your peril.

Received email from Chargeasap this morning (8 August), they said and quote defect not visible to naked eye. Photo I sent them shows clearly the port panel not connected to the body of the charger and they want me to fix myself with glue.

Ordered the GaN Zeus 270W from the we site, and arrived with a double up on the Asian plug adapter, and no Australian adapter - a packing error on product line. I reached out for Support team and after nearly 30 weeks have heard nothing back.

Chargeasap has always been great to work with. I recently received the Zeus Charger. I have used in daily for the past two weeks and almost always have two laptops connected (Macbook Pro M2 and Lenovo Yoga). The charger works flawlessly. It is a stout little powerhouse that is perfect for those needing to travel or move about with various equipment.

I purchased a Flash 2.0 power bank and it was defective, contact the them, it took from April to June to get a replacement, and the replacement was also bad. E-mail them several times, no responds, it is like just being ghosted. I have back this company several times on Kickstarter and purchased from their online store. They have poor quality control and very poor communication.

Chargeasap has many fantastic options for powering devices. From their magnetic charging cables to power banks and the GaN chargers, most of my devices are powered by Chargeasap. Their support is very responsive in the event that you have any problems as well. Highly recommend.
