Since Culligan took over Celtic Water the service has seriously deteriorated,
Just had my annual service done , cost €180 and for the third time ended up with water leaking all over my press, even though i pointed out to the guy doing the service that this problem had occurred before from previous services and he reassured me he had nothing leaking , as I was away for the following 2 days I came back to a flooded press everything destroyed, had to wait 5 days for them to send the guy back , I would have thought they could replace the part or the unit causing the problem , but no they can't get any parts for it and would not replace it
I thought this was very bad customer service and I didn't like the attitude towards the problem not even an apology and I am now worried about the next service is it going to be the same thing all over again ,
I certainly won't be recommending Culligan or buy from them again

From initial contact to service date, Culligans deliver - if anything, they over communicate, but you really can’t complain about too much good contact and knowing what’s happening and when. Customer service standards. Likely why I return to them every year. Long may it continue.

Customer service is really bad. I had about 6 different phone calls regarding this service. I stated that it had to be in the afternoon but the service guy still arrived at 12 noon yesterday. Luckily there was someone at my house otherwise he would not have been able to do service. I was told that the service guy would contact me before he arrived with a time but I got no phone call.

I had a very positive experience from start to finish. The customer service and sales team were excellent to deal with—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout. The team arrived on time, and the whole insulation process was hassle-free and very well organised. Overall, a smooth and efficient service. Highly recommended.

I called originally for a service because the RO filter under sink was continuously flushing out and there was obviously a lot of water wastage which we were concerned about.
On May 12th your technician came to see us. He did some troubleshooting of the non-return valve and the vessel and concluded that the flushing was the RO membrane housing suggesting, it had a 'micro-crack' somewhere which had blocked it and that was causing the continuous flushing - replacement of the membrane appeared to have resolved the issue. We were told to flush the tank several times and that we could expect the water to be perfect at that stage. We were told the tank should take about 1.5 hours to fill. However I immediately noticed that the tank was taking only a few minutes to fill which was unusual.
From the beginning the water tasted bad. I continued my efforts to flush and refill the tank over the coming days. This didn't seem to help. Our son refused to drink it and we had to buy bottled water for him. But my husband and I persisted, without an assumption that the quality of the water was bad.
I called on May 21st to report the taste. I was told to persist because the water may still taste bad for up to 2 weeks after the filters were changed.
2 weeks on and the water still tasted horrible. So I started to call again on June 8th. I was told I needed a technician to talk me through it over the phone and they would call me back. There was no call back. I called again on June 10th, but I was told it was too close to closing time and they may not call me back that day, but someone would call me back first thing in the morning. I called again first thing on June 11th. Again I was unable to get someone and I was told someone would call me back. I eventually had a call back at 4:30pm on June 11th. So from first call on Monday that week I spoke to you for the first time that Thursday late afternoon. You promised to look into sending a technician and call me back but you didn't call. So I waited 24 hours and called you on Friday at 4:25pm to discover that you close early on a Friday and couldn't get you, and you hadn't called me back.
Co-incidentally in the afternoon of June 11th I took delivery of a TDS meter and I tested the water. The mains water coming onto the property read 302ppm. The softened water read 327ppm. And the RO Filtered water read anything from +1200ppm, to the very best reading I could get which was 450ppm. So the water quality coming onto the property before it ever got treated in any manner by any product supplied by you was better than the water we were drinking.
In the returned call eventually at 4:30pm on June 11th I explained this (not the readings, but the fact that the water quality from the RO filter was worse than the untreated mains water) but there still did not appear to be any urgency to resolve this.
Eventually we figured out that the technician had in fact mixed up the drain water and the tank water pipes coming from the RO membrane. So the bad taste and quality of the water was actually caused by the fact that for a month we were drinking water that was supposed to be going down the drain, and the filtered water was in fact going down the drain.
This also explained 1. why the tank filled so quickly and 2. why the continuous flushing of the system had stopped.
When we flipped the pipes around the correct way the water quality improved to a standard we would expect and the tank filled slowly as expected.
The issue we have now is that the continuous flushing of the system that had originally caused us to call you has actually not been resolved, is still ongoing and again we have ongoing water wastage.
The other issue we have is that you don't appear at all concerned, even though I told you last week, that the quality of the water we have been drinking for a month is so bad that it may well have impacted our health, due to an issue that your engineer caused.
I'm not ringing your office again to spend up to 30 minutes on hold having opted for 'technical support' on your phone in menu options, to be answered by someone who's not technical support, who says technical support will call me back and then I could potentially wait 3 days for that to happen.
