Meet your trainer Dinah Liversidge (She/Her) Training people to be remarkable Independent Celebrants. Sharing the chance to work in a career that is rewarding, fulfiling and creative. It’s a role that suits those who are happy to stand next to those in the spotlight, helping them to shine. Bringing almost three decades of experience to my training and coaching, I love what I do and it shows. I work one-to-one with my students and build relationships with them on trust and credibility. I’ve won awards for speaking and my training. In 2023 I was runner up in the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Celebrancy’ Award at the Association of Independent Celebrants Awards. I adore trees, cats, motorcycles, good coffee, conversation and cake. I’m passionate about equality and inclusion, small business growth and the environment. I live in a Welsh-long-house, in our three-acre woodland in West Wales with my husband, John. Ways we can work together One to One Bespoke Training for New Celebrants I offer bespoke one-to-one Wedding Celebrant and Funeral Celebrant training programmes for new celebrants. These consist of six one-hour sessions, plus assignments, assessments and my ongoing support over a period of six weeks. Self-Paced Online Training for Celebrants My self-paced training courses for wedding & funeral Celebrants deliver the same high quality training, with videos, assessments, and ongoing support, while completing your training at times that suit you. Professional Development for Celebrants Once you’ve trained, it’s important to continually invest in your development. I offer regular CPD sessions and workshops for both new and experienced celebrants that cover a wide range of ceremony and business skills. Coaching for Celebrants If you’ve been working as a celebrant for a while and it feels like a lot has changed, then this course is for you. We’ll complete a full review of your business, with loads of actionable ideas and a reconnection with your brand values.

I trained as a celebrant with another independent in 2015 and had worked in the funeral related industry for a number of years. I wanted to top up my training and ensure that I was current, as well as feel as confident as I could stepping out on my own. I knew I didn't want to start at the beginning and train with a 'beige' sterile company who had thrown up in the boom of celebrants but equally had reservations about training with an independent again.
I am so grateful that the universe brought me to Dinah! From the very beginning I felt part of her family, I felt heard and valued. The things I could bring to the table were seen and my confidence soared. I was so nervous submitting my assignments but need not have worried as Dinah was always so positive, even with the corrections my work occasionally needed.
As a neuro-divergent person I felt working with Dinah was so inclusive. I knew she saw me for the person I am and how the gifts that I have could benefit others. Dinah's training is like no other and if you are serious about your celebrant work, want to make the family the focus and do right by them then you really couldn't be in better hands.

From the moment I met Dinah I knew she was the Celebrant Trainer for me - so warm and friendly, but also knowledgeable and professional. She really listened and spent time finding out if Celebrancy was the right career path for me. Turns out it really is. I completed my Funeral Celebrant training in January 2025 and have now helped 20 families to create the perfect ceremony for their loved one. I completed my Wedding Celebrant training in the following April.
