I can’t speak highly enough about CAYP
I can’t speak highly enough about the whole team at CAYP Psychology. From the very first contact to the end and beyond, the compassion, understanding and professionalism was outstanding. Not only did they go above and beyond to find the right Psychologist for our child, they then travelled to us (knowing the impact of travel on our son) and just made us feel so comfortable and understood. To have that type of care and validation felt so nice in a world where everything is usually so hard. Thank you to Suzanne and her team for everything!

Very fast and professional service
Very fast and professional service. Whole process only took around 3 weeks. Very helpful staff and the psychologist was fantastic. She really made ourselves and our son feel very comfortable and relaxed. She answered every query and even offered more advice. We will definitely use this service again if we need help. Thank you.

My experience as a parent with CAYP, for my son's diagnosis for Autism at the age of 20, was exceptional from start to finish. Autism/Adhd assessment
My son was recently assessed by Jenni and Anne. From the moment they contacted me I was reassured that they were the right people for us; they were extremely child focussed, patient, knowledgeable and understanding of our family situation. My son was relaxed with them and they quickly built a rapport with him which allowed him to be comfortable during his assessment sessions. After 7 years of desperately trying to get professionals to listen to us, it was a relief and pleasure to meet Dr Anna Kearney who was kind, professional and actually listened to everything we had to say. ASD/ ADHD Assessment
We began the process for both ASD and ADHD assessment in Feb 2024. We needed to move swiftly and get answers as soon as possible which we received in April 2024.
Karen Tinsley made contact pretty much immediately and spent a good hour chatting +, talking through the process and understanding our reasons for thinking we needed an assessment.
Karen was amazing. Offering support and reassurance throughout. Payment is in instalments and Karen explained if there was no requirement for a full assessment she would let us know so that we didn’t spend anymore that we had too. She was contactable as and when, responding to emails quickly. Fitting us in when we were available including the weekend to help speed up the process.
The final report is thorough. Karen has spent the time listening to our concerns and questions. Explaining the details to us appreciating that we are parents that need to learn about and understand neurodiversity.

A first class experience
A first class experience from the moment Daniel Weisberg was contacted to conduct an assessment. He was responsive, communicative throughout, personable and entirely professional. He made me and my daughter feel very at ease and we felt in very capable hands. He was reassuring, flexible about timings to accommodate our limited timetable, thorough and he explained his results in a way which was easy to understand despite all the scientific analysis. He has made sense of things that have been taking place for the best part of 17 years and has also advised on the necessary support which must be made available for my daughter going forward. We cannot thank Daniel enough for all that he has done as well as how he has done it. 11 out of 10 (if that is allowed!).

We are so happy that we chose CAYP for…
We are so happy that we chose CAYP for our daughter. Dr Jenni Jardine and Dr Anne Moloney were absolutely amazing from start to finish. My daughter was struggling for quite some time and I have tried for years to get answers and help for her but was let down by our GP and had no support from school.
I contacted CAYP at the beginning of this year and they have been absolutely fantastic. I felt like I was finally being listened to and my daughter felt like there was someone that actually wanted to help her.
Jenni and Anne made us feel at ease and relaxed which is uncommon for my daughter to feel like that around strangers.

Dr Heidi Mason & Jenni Jardine were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I’d felt for a long time my daughter was struggling, but I was convinced by others she was just strong willed, shy, unsociable etc. I hit a brick wall with school and our GP.
I contacted CAYP in January this year and they were very helpful. We spoke on the phone and I relayed my concerns. After various assessments with Heidi and Jenni we have a diagnosis for our daughter and can now move forward as a family to ensure she has the support she needs.
They made her feel at ease which isn’t easy for a child who doesn’t like talking to strangers.

A Fantastic Experience
We engaged CAYP for an ADHD assessment for our daughter. This was after doing a fair amount of research online and making enquiries with various companies. Not only did CAYP have a strong reputation, they also responded to my enquiry quickly and professionally and were very transparent regarding their process, the costs involved and the payment schedule.
We were assigned Sherell as our Psychologist for the assessment and she was absolutely brilliant with us and our daughter from start to finish. Even though we were paying for a service, the experience didn't have a "transactional" feel to it, it just seemed like Sherell wanted to get to the truth of the matter and do the best for our daughter.
There were various things that happened through the assessment process that made us feel like they had gone the extra mile for us, and had perhaps gone beyond a "standard" assessment. These are things I think they could have justified charging us extra for, but there was never even a hint of that. It really did seem like our daughter's wellbeing was their top priority.
We simply cannot praise CAYP highly enough, they completely exceeded our expectations.
For anyone on the fence about this, I realise paying for something like this isn't cheap, and arguably you shouldn't have to pay for it at all if you're a UK taxpayer! We are where we are though, and if you don't want to wait several years for an assessment via CAMS (if you can get one at all) then I would highly recommend considering this route. CAYP do break the total payment up into instalments that are paid throughout the process, and this is a big help to those of us that don't have this sort of money to just throw around.
Now we have a confirmed diagnosis, not only does it give us and our daughter a better understanding of her condition, we can use the report to ensure that she gets the support she needs from her school and GP. I believe that in the long run we will consider this to have been money extremely well spent.
