Light at the end of the tunnel
Before turning to CAYP we didn't think there would be a light at the end of the tunnel. Our last GP appointment about a NHS referral resulted in the doctor sending a prescription for antidepressants rather then sort his referral out. At that point we decided to go private. We are so grateful we did. CAYP have given us hope that our son can have a better future. We are grateful to Dr Shri Cameron and Dr Holly Hadfield for all their help and guidance, answering all our questions with great care, and getting us the answers we so sort after.

Using Cayp for dyslexia assessment
Using Cayp, and in particular Tania, for our son's dyslexia assessment was the best decision we could have made. It's a shame we had to do this privately, but it was worth every penny!
Tania was brilliant at explaining the process to us and created a great atmosphere for the assessment with our son. It was a long assessment, but we were given the option to split it over a couple of sessions (we knew our son wouldn't want this, so completed it in one visit). Tania was great at putting him at ease, made him laugh and generally treated him with such kindness and respect.
The report we have received is very comprehensive and (more importantly) useful. We have some clear points of action. We also received a lovely summary note for our son to use to explain what the outcome means for him, which was completely unexpected. Would definitely recommend Tania to anyone.

5 Stars – Highly Recommend CAYP Psychology
My 6 year old son has recently been assessed by CAYP Psychology, and we’re now continuing to work with their pharmacist as part of his ongoing care. From the very beginning, the whole team has been professional, efficient, and clearly dedicated to providing high quality support.
They communicate exceptionally well, always keeping us informed and involved at every stage, and it's been clear throughout that they genuinely care about my son’s individual needs. The process felt smooth and supportive, and I felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands.

We had a very positive experience working with Dr Hasan Waheed, trying to understand the challenges our daughter faces with dyscalculia. Dr Hasan was friendly, listened well to our concerns, the tests conducted were thorough and the report presented was clear.

We recently had an ASD assessment for our daughter carried out by CAYP Psychology, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the compassionate and professional care we received throughout the process.
Karen, our psychologist, was exceptional from the very beginning. She immediately put us at ease with her warm and empathetic approach, making what could have been a daunting experience feel safe and supportive. Her ability to connect with both us and our daughter was truly reassuring.

Compassionate, efficient and professional support
We have used CAYP psychology twice now, most recently for an ASC assessment and previously for parental advice and support. Friendly, personal and comprehensive.
I am really pleased we used CAYP to assess our daughter for ADHD. We had been warned by school that to go through the LA for an assessment would be a lengthy process (years) and our GP said similar, even with Right to Choose. We were also aware our daughter's assessment could potentially be complex, so we wanted to ensure a thorough assessment process would be undertaken.
I contacted CAYP and was impressed from the outset with the personal approach given. Communication was very clear. The process was explained thoroughly and costs were transparent.
We were matched with a psychologist Dr Hasan Waheed who had appropriate experience for our daughter's needs. He took time to get to know us and our daughter. The appropriate screening and tests were carried out. A very comprehensive report was given to us and explained fully. He communicated with school and included them within the assessment and they too said how clear the process was.
Dr Hasan Waheed was friendly, knowledgeable and listened really well.
I would highly recommend CAYP to those considering assessments for their children.

Made a hard situation very easy
I cannot recommend this company enough they have helped my daughter and whole family, my daughter has been struggling for many years we had been the doctors and the waiting list was years . I decided to pay private Tania fox has been amazing she has made a very hard situation a lot easier for us I feel that she has saved us as a family . My daughter has now been diagnosed with adhd and autism . CAYP are helping with medication to improve her standard of life . I really cannot thank Tania enough I feel like I owe her so much more she has been staying in contact and we are working together . Daniel the director has also been fantastic I would say to anyone who is struggling please contact this company I felt when I first contacted them there was not a way out but finally there is light at the end of tunnel and I am finally helping my daughter get them help she needs . Choosing Cayp for our daughter's autism…
Choosing Cayp for our daughter's autism assessment was the best decision we could have made. At the start of the assessment, Laila was clearly distressed, but Tania was absolutely incredible in making her feel at ease. She created a warm and welcoming environment from start to finish. Wonderful assessment with Dr Jenni Jardine
My son received an assessment with Dr Jenni Jardine and he immediately felt relaxed in her presence, having been nervous about what the process would be like and how Dr Jenni would be. He commented that he really valued how kind and polite she was with him, while being reassuring. Dr Jenni listened to him and validated his experiences. She took the time to explain the process and answer any questions. She also took the time and patience to allow his initial nerves to settle, in order to complete a valid and thorough assessment. Thorough, professional, kind and approachable service provided by Jade Wilson
We sought an ADHD assessment for my daughter. Jade Wilson offered a thorough, professional service and supported us through the whole process. My daughter was very anxious about the face to face assessment part of the screening and Jade expertly guided and reassured her and this allowed my daughter to be honest and open about her struggles making her feel seen and understood without any judgement.
The outcome was very insightful and offered advice on possible co-morbid conditions. We now hope to get her the support she needs in order to be able to achieve the things she wants to.

ASD diagnosis
Having lost hope of my daughter ever being assessed by CAMHS we turned to CAYP and finding Dr Shri Cameron has been the best decision we made. After an Autism diagnosis, she clearly explained the content of the report with us. Jade Wilson- my sons assessor for ADHD was amazing. She was kind and reassuring throughout the whole process as it was very overwhelming for us all due to my son having mental health issues along side too. I cannot recommend CAYP enough! From start to finish the whole process was incredibly supportive. After a long struggle of trying to obtain the correct support for our child, Dr. Daniel Weisberg did a phenomenal job in working with our family, his assessment gave us a clear understanding our child's strengths and weakness's, and was able to see through the mask our child wears everyday throughout his educational journey!
His report was outstanding with clear recommendations that most definitely contributed to a positive outcome for not just our child's EHCP, but for us a family in our home.
