Seltsames Rückgaberecht
Diese Firma hat ein sehr seltsames Rückgaberecht. Von 60 Euro behalten sie 11 Euro. Außerdem gibt es tagelang Emails ehe man überhaupt zurückgeben kann. Ich warte immer noch!!!! Überlege anwaltliche Maßnahmen zu ergreifen.

one of my art students received some pencils for Christmas that were the wrong ones but Castle would not accept a return. disgusted at how they handled the situation. I will not be recommending them again and would advise that you stay well away from this company. very poor customer service.

Die Rückgabe ist ein absoluter Albtraum. Seid nun mehre als drei tagen versuche ich nun schon das Rückgabe formular von dem unfähigen Kundeserveice zu erhalten. Bisher ohne Erfolg. Man fordert Bilder, Begründungen, etc. an. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Falls ihr euch nicht 100% sicher seid das ihr den Artikel behalten werdet würde ich wirklich niemandem empfehelen bei diesem Laden zu bestellen.
Purchase never arrived
I purchased the set of 72 Harmonius colored pencils on November 26. It is December 14 and the package has not yet arrived. No matter how many times I contact customer service in Germany, they won't help out. I contacted them first on December 7 and asked me to wait up to 72 hours for an update from the transportation company. After 72 hours I contacted them again and asked me to wait for another 72 hours. They I find out in the DPD tracking website that they could not deliver the package (without any reason given) and that it was sent back to Castle Arts, that I should contact the sender. I contact Castle Arts again and they tell me that I need to wait for the pencils to arrive to them to send me another package, even when I'm telling them for the 5th time that I need the package urgently. Finally customer service agent tells me to check in the DPD site if I can use the option to get the package delivered another day, even after I sent him a screenshot where it clearly says that the package is being send to them and that I should contact the sender. I can't believe how incompetent they are. Is the worst customer service I've ever experienced from an arts supplier.

Stiftminen schief und nach anspitzen nicht zu gebrauchen. Nach einer Woche hin und herschreiben keine Lösung . Hab da für weit über 100 Euro eingekauft. Die id Nummern sind plötzlich nicht von Ihnen. Obwohl Namen und Email bekannt ist werde ich im System nicht gefunden. Nur noch lächerlich alles . Hab mir andere stifte zum fertigstellen gekauft. Nie wieder diese Firma.

Schraffuren sind klar zuerkennen obwohl es Aquarellstifte sein sollten. Bei der Reklamation werde ich aufgefordert die Stift durchzutesten und ein Foto vom Ergebnis zu senden um dann im Anschluss zu sagen das ich die Stifte nicht zurücksenden kann da sie gebraucht sind. Besser als Hollywood 😂
Update: Mittlerweile mein Geld zurück erhalten.

I have been using castle art products for a couple of years now and I absolutely love the products! My favourite are the gold edition pencils. They always offer great deals and are very reasonable price wise.
Con-artist marketing that fleeces…
Con artist marketing that fleeces customers of their money. Having ordered a colour pencil set for Xmas gift and having paid via Paypal and completed check-out, a 2nd pop-up appears with the same item at a greatly discounted priced. Confused and wanting to find out more, I clicked the pop-up, which then automatically processed a payment for the item without going through a checkout procedure - only upon checking emails, did I find out that I had been charged for the additional item.
Having contacted Castle Arts, was informed that it cannot be removed from my order as it has already been sent for processing, and I would be expected to pay return costs unless item met requirements of their refund policy e.g. faulty, damaged. Or I could refuse the delivery - however, DPD dropped the box and left before it could be refused.
Disgraceful misleading transaction, with inept customer service that can only be contacted by email.
Scam
Scam - sent me a 50% discount code for a product that costs 27.00 get all the way to checkout then it’s says buy 2 at 30% off
Turns out it only gives 50% if you buy 2 so when you checkout it’s takes 38.00 total scam
Within 10 seconds I’ve emailed - over a day later they reply to say too bad you didn’t realise give them to a loved one for Xmas .
Technically this feels like they have stolen from me.

Ich habe zum zweiten Mal die Buntstifte aus der Gold-Reihe bestellt und wurde beide Male enttäuscht. Ständig brechen die Minen ab, trotz hochwertigem Spitzer. Bei der ersten Bestellung bekam ich sogar ein bereits sichtlich abgenutztes Set, das scheinbar schonmal Jemand zurück geschickt hat. Würde 0 Sterne geben, wenn es ginge, weil der Kundenservice ein totaler Reinfall ist. Habe sogar Bilder mitgeschickt, aber meine Reklamation wurde einfach ignoriert. Ab jetzt kaufe ich nur noch bei Faber Castell. Die sind zwar teurer, aber man bekommt 1a Qualität und Kundenservice.

I have bought three different sets of castlearts coloured pencils and have been very happy with the quality of the pencils for the money paid. The watercolour pencils are perhaps not as soluble as some makes , but they still work. The colours are varied and very vibrant. I have just had a problem with several breaking and contacted the company and they couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. Ten out of ten for customer service. I would definitely but again from this company.
Terrible quality and terrible service
Ordered 60 pounds pencils from them, quality is absolutely terrible! Got my daughter a cheap set on amazon and even they are a better quality. Last pallet was all mixed up, clearly been used before and returned. Some pencils are broken, have lines on the wooden part meaning they will break regularly. Asked to return, they first emailed twice saying we want to sort it. When I said I don't want such a poor quality item for a such a price they said return but pay for it yourself. This is disgusting. Please don't buy from them, you can find much better quality products on the market at this price range! And when I said they should pay for the postage they stopped responding. I will NEVER EVER buy from THEM again. AVOID

I ordered the item on Wednesday as a present for my nephew's birthday and paid £9 pounds for next day delivery and when I enquired about it the next day they said it will arrive tomorrow and it didn't then I got a text saying it will arrive on Monday and when i enquired with them, they just came up with a sorry and asked me to pay for the return of the item and this is ridiculous service. now I don't have time to buy from anywhere else as well.
so I won't recommend this to anyone. there are so many other good products out in the market with better service available.

Have found Castle Arts really helpful so don't understand the previous 1 star....Trustpilot needs to have verified purchases for these reviews.
Delivery was fast, given how heavy my order was, the price for delivery was more than fair, free for over £ 30 spend at the time of my order.
Quality of product is what I expected, I hope that they will source from fair and ethical countries for their future products. All in all happy to be supporting and helping a British company.
