STAY CLEAR !!!! off this company or any garage that sells there warranty

On the 16th of June my wifes jeep broke down it only recently been serviced and had done just over 700 km and stopped working

We went to 3 garages at time to get the jeep repaired with all 3 refusing to take the job on cause the warranty was with car simple and them stating that there to hard to work with and they don’t like paying out so it’s to much hassle and go get car simple to give ur a mechanic

We then sent the car to kylemore motor centre on behalf off car simple to a man called billy real nice man and he went and found the problem and reported the issue to car simple who have now rejected the claim and left us now having to get the jeep fixed ourselves this company will do every single thing no to pay out and it’s the reason y a lot of garage will not work with them so my advice to anyone reading this is stay away from this warranty and any garage using them

I will be bringing these to court having spoke to my solicitor

So please be aware from this cowboy company

Went to make a claim for a waterpump and thermostat housing on my volkeswagen golf. The claim was accepted as I assumed it would be as it clearly stated it was a part that was covered under my particular warrantee. Unfortunately they would only pay for 2.4 hours of labour in line with "auto data/ICME" leaving me to pay the remaining 3 hours of labour at 75 euro per hour. When I called they stood their ground, I asked if she was trying to tell me that the mechanic was over charging me? She said no and that their labour calculation is based on the time taken to place the part In the vehicle, they do not pay for the time taken to diagnose the vehicle and take everything out that they need to and put everything back together in order to put the new part in.

Very shadey practice in my opinion, could leave you with hundreds if not thousands of euro to pay if something major goes wrong with the engine.... keep this in mind..

They also won't pay for genuine OEM parts.

This company is an absolute joke they will do anything and everything to avoid helping. The first time I reported a problem they told me to bring it to a garage in Clane and have them do a diagnostics and they will sort it from there so I went and got it done and never heard another thing so I had to get it fixed myself. Second time only recently they told me to bring it to there highly recommended garage in Maynooth for a diagnostics and I did too which I got no contact back from them I then had to ring and she told me they were waiting on another report from the garage to see if them parts are covered under warranty. I have paid for the best cover possible so shouldn’t be an issue on it. It’s a company with terrible customer service and if you have any issues you need to constantly follow it up because they won’t. I would honestly avoid them at all costs and any car dealers who know them will tell you to stay away.

We had a nightmare experience with this company which has very questionable practices.
We eft our car which was under warranty in to their recommended garage, received a quote for 3.3k worth of repairs which was ridiculous, we said not to go ahead as we would return the car to the original owners (we had just bought it 8 weeks before) but they went ahead and did the work and we couldn't return the car.
What followed was 6 months of back and forth with no car. I wrote a negative review here a few months ago and the operations manager John Cairns called me the next day and said "the first thing you will do is take the review down and ill help you, good girl" that's a direct quote. He also made references to my own workplace which made me extremely uncomfortable and is a personal violation.
Legal action is pending
The positive reviewers below share names with the Car Simple team so don't be fooled by this. Avoid if you can

Excellent service

I just called them to check for the workshops available near my place and took my car for initial diagnosis. Then I got the quotation for car repairs and car simple were very quick enough to approve the claims for the new parts replaced.

After initial confusion around a grey area in documentation, it turned out to be a good experience. My claim was paid despite it not being clear in documentation if the item was covered or not. John from the management team was excellent and provided good customer care and follow up.

Service Efficient, fast, professional, polite.

Absolutely first class service from all at Car Simple. My car recently developed a serious suspension issue so I contacted Car Simple and was given instructions on what to do, once the issue was correctly diagnosed i simply awaited further direction.

Usually these things take time but once my claim was reviewed and approved the invoice for the repair was paid.

My car is now fully repaired and I couldn’t be any more satisfied with the whole process from start to finish.

A huge thanks to Chrissie and John and all the team at Car Simple.

Incidentally my one year warranty is due to expire next month, without any hesitation I’ll be renewing it again.

I would recommend Car Simple to anyone looking for a fully comprehensive warranty on their car.

I had an issue with my car over the weekend, but the car was not covered by Breakdown assistance. The customer care representative told me that the claims department will call me first thing Monday morning and that is what happened. I was recommended two garages close to my residence, where the issue was identified in a day's time and repair approved in a few hours. There was some back and forth between the garage and Car Simple on the parts to be changed, but I had the car by Friday, with payments made directly to the garage. All and all good experience, special thanks to Chrissie.
