I could not find their website today. I got:
**carinfostory.com’s server IP address could not be found.**
I ordered a $1 VIN report on 10/10/2024. I saw nothing about being enrolled in a monthly subscription, but my card was charged $29.95 on 10/17. After contacting them on 10/30 to cancel via chat, they charged my card again on 11/08 for $29.95, so apparently, their monthly subscription is every three weeks.

Scam, please read the other reviews and stay away.

Same story as everyone else. Seems that these scammers run some sort of hidden subscription which later on charges 29$ to the card given on their site when downloading the car report. I guess I have learned to use single use cards from Revolut for any internet purchases as of now.

This site is 100% BS. I foolishly let them get my card number and then they say they don;t operate in Canada. They took my money though and set me up for automatic payments ! Couldn't get a response so had to cancel my card. Money long gone. SCAMMED! It's almost stupid when you can click below and let these scammers know about your review. Like telling a thief he just stole from you. DUHH!

The company charged my credit card $149.99 without my consent!

The service and report that this company provides is a SCAM. Very little of useful information all advertising at most.Stay away from them. No credit or refund.

Total Scam Website. I paid them $1 for a piece of information, and a week later they signed me up for $25 subscription through Paypal. I am reporting them everywhere.

Я написал им, но они ответили, что мне нужно отменить подписку по первоначальной ссылке, которую они мне прислали, но они не присылали ссылок. Пришлось отвязать карту от Пей пал через который я платил и создать новый аккаунт на всякий случай. Жаль я раньше не проверил сайт на мошенничество.

This place is bull****. I used it back in may one time twice in one day $1 each time. I don’t have it set up on autopay and this morning the took $119 out of my account. When I contacted them they told me to follow the link in my original email, but the one and only email I got from them didn’t have a link. Now they won’t respond!!

This site is a complete scam to collect your personal information and credit card/banking information. Shut this site down!

This is a scam website. Just Google the company name. Wish I had beforehand.
I had a fraudulent person reach out about my RV for sale and told me to use a link to this site to order a VIN report so they could ensure everything was correct on the vehicle. I ordered 1 VIN report from this site, which was on March 1. The report was a fake. I never authorized a recurring pymt with this company. I have tried reaching out to the company several times. They refuse to respond. Someone needs to get a Class Action Law suit going against them for this criminal activity.

They claim it's $1. But to get a report is an extra $4.95. And 2 weeks later they charged my credit card $29.95 subscription fee which I never signed up for. Better pay $40 to carfax

This is a scam. They lure you in with a $1 fee and then, even after cancelling, persist by attempting to charge your account with $29.95. I involved my bank to reverse the charges and obtain a new card. A new card was issued and the following day Carinfostory attempted yet again to charge my account for $29.95. Evidentally, they somehow had access to my digital wallet and were alerted when my new card was activated.

Never signed up to this website and If I did It was cancelled soon after, had 46AUD taken from my bank account (Fraudulently) I have a new card and have not used It with these clowns. Emailed them twice, no response. Have now disputed the transaction with the bank. Stay away from these SCAMMERS.

Can you imagine awful stench body odor of a man that never showers? Can you imagine the same of a woman - but this one also in dire need of Vagisil and STD medicines? Can you imagine eating and sleeping on the floor like dogs? The GREATEST gift given to these people was the computer. The evil heart was already there at birth.

I canceled the trial account with this company and was still charged $29.99. I emailed Carinfostory with refund request over a week ago while this action was still pending and to this date I've still yet to hear from them. If you're contemplating on trying this company, I would not waste your money, instead use your money with CARFAX, their not scammers!!!!!
