Really great website and they provide flexible physical and virtual cards and the stuff is so friendly and helpful and support is amazing highly recommended

exceptional service and fast response times and everything simply works and does what it says it does, fees are on the higher side, but it's worth it.

I only faced 2 problems which are the high fee that I should pay after any payment and that the card sometimes doesn't pay immediately when I add its details in the payment info
But overall I like it here and I think ill use the card forever inshallah

With the limitations of international payments in Egypt, I tried many virtual cards and none was as satisfying and easy to use as card-y! I pay all important subscriptions with it and I can't wait for paypal to collaborate with them! :) Keep the great work up!

كنت أول مرة استعمل الكارت و حصل زي مشكلة بسيطة بس أستاذ لؤي مشكور جدا ساعدني و حل معايا المشكلة و كان باله طويل معايا لأن الموضوع كان سهل بس مش عارفين المشكلة فين و الحمد لله هعتمد علي الكارت دا بشكل أساسي في تعاملاتي بإذن الله تعالى

very useful and finally solving the regional limitions but at the time being its slow and 1 usd for a transaction seems like alot for fixing the (problem) for the regional limitions but works and i hope its gonna solve this issues soon

great idea, great people, however, the automations, emails, transactions are pretty slow to the point that i had to use other platforms to get my stuff done

I was looking for a reliable solution to pay in USD from Egypt, and Card-Y completely exceeded my expectations.

The onboarding process was smooth from start to finish — account creation, phone verification via WhatsApp code, and KYC submission were all handled quickly and professionally. Once my account was verified, I topped up my balance using InstaPay. I simply uploaded a screenshot and entered the payment address, and the funds were added almost instantly.

I then purchased a virtual Mastercard for $15 — received it right away — and transferred funds to it within seconds. Finally, I used the card to pay for my Shopify subscription ($27), and the transaction went through immediately with no issues.

The Card-Y team is professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. This service is a brilliant solution for anyone in Egypt struggling with dollar payments due to current banking restrictions.

I like the idea that it solves a regional problem here in Egypt very efficiently, however I think that the minimum charge of 1 USD per transaction is a LOT. Paying minor monthly bills using this card will very costly that it's sometimes more expensive than the actual bill.

I love this fintech startup that I believe has real potential. But there are still some vague areas that need refinement. For example, the user experience isn't as smooth as it should be — similar to how PayPal or buying courses on Udemy can sometimes feel clunky or inconsistent.

One key issue is that users aren't properly notified when something goes wrong — like if a transaction fails or their balance is insufficient. These are critical moments where communication should be clear and instant, but right now it’s lacking.

Another challenge is that I'm not sure whether certain features exist or not. I don’t know if there’s a mobile app, or if specific improvements are already in the backlog. I get that we’re still early as a startup, but it feels like the initial launch or marketing phase is over — now it’s time to really polish the experience.

At this stage, our goal should be clear: to make online finance feel smooth, easy, and frictionless. It shouldn’t feel like a big deal. That’s what people expect from a modern fintech product — and I think we can deliver that with better communication, clearer roadmapping, and a tighter, more user-focused experience.

On of the most promising start-up fintech co in MENA region that focus on the local regulations issues and try to make local / overseas payments much easier.
