awful company
starting my journey with car call was easy.
then when the real challenge came along, they were nothing short of useless to say the least. After being in an accident that wasn’t my fault, i had 2 panels of my car damaged. Car calls technicians decided this was a right off by looking at images of my car. No one actually came out to assess my car in person. While my car was in the garage as they deemed my car unsafe to drive, by looking at photos, i got a hire car. This hire car was broken upon arrival. As i reported the car was broken, i got a text message telling me to take the car to a certain garage, instead of them fixing it themselves or giving me another hire car.
They then received my settlement money from the third party insurer and i didn’t get told about this until 8 days later. I had to ring up to find out an update. I then got told they had “lost” my insurance money and that they’d have to give me more information when they had it. No one ever rang back. I had to ring them constantly for updates on my money and claim.
I am still waiting for my money.
Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone despite the “perks” they offer.
update: i have proof of telling them the car was broken and proof of being told to take it to a garage to get it fixed myself.

After investigating your case, a comparable replacement hire vehicle was provided to you 5 days after initiating your claim with us. It does not seem as if you had ever made us aware of any issues with the hire vehicle provided to you, therefore we were unable to assist you with this.
Regarding your vehicle settlement payment, the Third Party insurer initially raised a sum for your vehicle that did not match the amount we had requested on your behalf. Due to this, we disputed this with the insurer to gain you a full payment.
A payment was then made to you on 22nd April for the full vehicle settlement figure. This was 22 working days after your initial claim was set up.
We are proud of our service and what we provide for our customers, we are open to criticism however we don't feel your review is fair or reasonable.

Prolonged Misery
Terrible Service. First they palm you off to a company called Kinnertons so you are constantly being battered between the two - retelling all the details you've told one to the other (because it seems like they don't talk to one another). They under-valued my written-off car at scrap value and am still fighting now to get more for it even after 2 months since the incident. DO NOT USE THESE CHARLATANS!

After reviewing your case, it looks as if you were provided with a hire vehicle 4 days after contacting us.
Due to GDPR, our hire providers Kindertons needed to re-confirm the accident information with you as part of our standard process.
We then received and processed a payment to you for your Pre Accident Vehicle Value 17 days later.
We have explored multiple avenues for you in order to see if an increase in the vehicle valuation would be justified, however this has not been viable on this occasion.
I hope this helps to bring you clarity in this situation, however if you'd like further information please contact our offices.

To start off with very helpful and informative. Extremely quick with hire car to keep me mobile and nice car! When the repairs were being done the company always seemed one step behind and having given my info more than a couple of times we go over the same things. I have spoken to someone today and they are still asking questions so as to pursue the claim. Very pleased with the repair and grateful for their service though at no cost to myself.

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. I was involved in a non-fault accident and came to Car Call UK expecting proper support. They accepted the case, promised a hire vehicle, and started the process—then dropped everything the moment there was a complication with the replacement car.
The accident wasn’t my fault, and the claim was legitimate, but because they couldn’t sort the hire vehicle, they cancelled the entire claim process. It became obvious they’re not handling anything themselves—they’re just middlemen referring cases to other companies and taking a cut. The second it stops being easy money for them, they leave you high and dry.
No real help, no fight for justice, no care for your situation—just profit chasing. If your case isn’t 100% straightforward, don’t waste your time.

Upon review, it seems that the requested identification documents required in order for us to carry out our security checks, including a valid Driving Licence, were not forthcoming or provided by you.
Without the required documentation being validated we are unable to provide you with either repairs to your vehicle and a replacement hire vehicle.

Helpful and friendly staff
The staff were always helpful and friendly. If they said they would follow-up/chase they did!
There were some delays in getting the work done and, whilst it wasn't completely the fault of Car Call, they could have said the age of the car may affect whether a repair could be done. Without this issue I would have given 5 stars.
