Canva deliberately removed the 'Free' filter button to hide free assets and force paid elements down our throats. Intentionally sabotaging your own user interface trick people into clicking Pro elements is HOSTILE, PREDATORY, and an EMBARRASSING NEW LOW. This perfectly reflects how disgusting and greedy this corporate climate has become. MultiBILLION dollar companies care more about maximizing profit margins than supporting the people relying on them to build a livelihood. You are ACTIVELY screwing over everyday folks who are just trying to survive and scrape by, all to boost your own numbers. YOU DIDN'T MAKE THE APP BETTER; YOU INTENTIONALLY MADE IT WORSE TO TREAT LOYAL USERS LIKE CASH COWS. SHAME ON YOU, CANVA!

I didn't have the 14 hours it takes to make a simple image. Worked on a book cover for hours and it wouldn't load anything complete waste of time. I wouldn't pay for.

The most frustrating, least user friendly design tool I've every encountered out of dozens.

It will tell you that things are aligned when they aren't. It's functionality doesn't configure well to PDF's, which will often make your designs turn out terrible once you've exported them. And it lacks basic features such as making text different sizes within the same text box.

If you want to waste your time and pull out every strand of hair left in your head, it's a 10/10, perfect product.

Canva is literally garbage. I've been trying to make a youtube banner for 3 hours, nothing I do will fit, even though I'm selecting youtube banner templates, the sizing is all wrong. So I think maybe I need the Pro version, so i sign up for 30 days free. It's still not working. I watch youtube video's, I still can't get the banner size right, no matter what I try. I tried to make a banner from scratch using the rulers, but adding elements is really hard for me, and I am not creative, I need a template to guide me and you can't use rulers with existing templates, God only knows why? Canva is not user friendly, not easy to grasp for anyone who is only an intermediate user of software. The help guides have gaps in information. I've had to give up. Canva owes me for 3 hours of my time I won't get back! If you're a beginner, go elsewhere!

Was a helpfull app to crate a logo. Forgot to cancle the free pro version and got a full refund

Terrible Experience – Avoid Canva!

I initially wanted to subscribe to Canva, but twice my credit card was declined. Despite this, Canva still withdrew money from my bank account even though the transactions were supposedly declined. I filed a complaint last week, and since then, I’ve been bombarded with emails from Dinah GazelleLyn, John Ford, Rhezabeth, and now Arnel, all asking for the same information over and over.

I've already sent them a screenshot from my bank, but they’re insisting on a statement, which I cannot provide since I’m in the Middle East, and my bank only offers online records. Despite explaining this numerous times, I keep receiving the same frustrating requests.

I now have at least 10 emails from Canva, and they clearly don’t read previous messages. Each new person asks the same questions without resolving anything. Now, they’re asking for my credit card number, which I absolutely will not provide.

This level of incompetence is unacceptable. If this is how Canva handles issues, stay far away from subscribing!

I am so sick and tired with Canva and their unscrupulous and illegal practices. I canceled my account with them over 45 days ago. Yet, they continue to debit $14.99 from my bank account. Then they want to play the “contact support” game. I am hearing this same story from quite a few others as well. This time around I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. I actually canceled because Canva’s programs are subpar and not worth $2.00 per month more less the $14.99. Another thing they pulled was to mail me a design that I did not wish to purchase. And the quality was as crappy as their customer service is. Do yourself a favor and only use the free program if you don't have another option. I prefer not to use Canva at all. Dear Canva, may I have my $14.99 refund? And would you be so kind as to lose my banking info? Canva’s practices is as unscrupulous as the underworld allows. This is my review.

Whilst the baseline of content is good, you can’t really design anything and use it dynamically outside of the app. By example if you design a presentation, you can’t download the format and edit it or adjust it. So template designs are effectively useless outside of Canva. In addition, the custom sizing option doesn’t apply to websites. What you end up with is a forced website sizing (I am not referring to the elements in the page) I’m referring to a standard website built in canva showing two pages in one frame because they size the websites to be smaller than a standard screen. It doesn’t look good and it looks like a design on the cheap. Not sure why you are insistent on forcing your webpage setting on users. If I had known that I may have built it on another platform.

Loved the amount of tools and options when editing a photo on my Android phone. Finished it once and accidentally swiped back. No warning, it just closed what I was working on. Finished it again and go to download it... it wants me to sign in... Okay, I figured it'd do that that when I do, it kicks me to the main page and once again erased what I'd worked on. Not worth your time

Very disappointed with Canva, will be finding another software to use and advising others of the experience I have had. To think I can use and pay for an account myself for years but because I don't own the email address I used as a username it means that I do not have ownership of the account and to give unauthorized access to others to access to projects is a disgusting business move by Canva. Very disappointed

Canva is one of the best things I could have found. I use it for absolutely EVERYTHING! I use it for school presentations, backgrounds for my computer, calendars, or just having fun. I recommend this for mostly everything!

Previously I've always loved Canva for my great experience using this app in designing. It's so easy to use with great outcome. Now I love Canva even more for its attention and care for contributors. It adjusts the payout method to provide more benefits to contributors. I feel grateful because I never found any app or website which spent time and effort to do such things for its contributor. Love Canva❤️.

Handig in gebruik & leuke tool!

Used Canva several times now for different projects, by the far the best platform for designing logos etc. Not tried the paid version yet, but would do so should I need to use Canva more.

I've been using the program for over a year.
The free version will make it possible to make a very beautiful Instagram post without any paying.
Recommend to use!
