Brilliant collar
Brilliant collar, best one I’ve had. The website was clear and easy to understand explaining sizing/meadurements and all you needed to know to get the right one. Arrived as expected in good condition. Excellent service would definitely recommend.

Our Canny Collar experience
No problem at all buying a Canny Collar on line, but my dog is just between the first and second size, the over the nose strap just meets, I have added the carabenas, but it is just OK. The collar is OK on the last hole. I am think this size should be for up to 26cm neck. However, if he had a larger size, it would be even easier for him to paw off the strap, he is going to take a lot of time to get used to it, but that’s not the fault of the Canny Collar!

Working well
We ordered one size too large but he’ll grow into it.
I gave 4 as the D rings are too small as quite fiddly for fingers, other than that it’s working well thanks

Collar is not elegant but it is effective
We must have tried nearly every halter/ harness / collar known to man on our headstrong rescue dog to the point of despair. It’s early days on this collar and although there are still attempts to plunge and pull they are becoming intermittent. The reward for not pulling makes it more comfortable as pressure is released from the noseband. She is more accepting of the fit of the collar because it does not ride up towards her eyes. We virtually had little hope of her ever accepting lead control but this is starting to work. We may soon have steady controlled walks. Money well spent.

Good product another size up from size…
Good product another size up from size 2 as this was rather tight however size 3 is vastly larger than expected to the point of being too big

Hi Paul and thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It's most unusual that the size 3 is much larger than the size 2. The width of the collar and noseband is wider, that is true, but the collars are designed to have some overlap between sizes so that the last two eyelets on a size 2 for example are equivalent to the first two eyelets on a size 3 and so on. Hope that helps.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review Elaine. Sorry that you find the buckle fiddly, we did experiment with a plastic snap buckle but found that in some instances it compromised the safety of the dog.

Strong Labrador
My Labrador used to be on a halti but I noticed it would pull his head from the side and he was always pulling his neck, now with the canny collar he walks perfectly on a loose lead and I don’t have to worry about it hurting his neck, definitely worth the money.

Canny Collar
The trainer at our dog training class lent us a canny collar, and our young dog likes it better than the other things we've tried. He's strong and pulls, and the canny collar is working well at managing this. So we're using it most of the time!

Bought a Canny Collar for my collie…
Bought a Canny Collar for my collie years ago and found it to be excellent. I went from not been able to walk him, to walking him with lead across my body no hands immediately.
So I knew what I needed for my Romanian Recue after she pulled me over for the 3rd time. Yet again immediate results. This now means I can walk them both on a coupler without any worries. Which results in varying walks as there's lots of lanes near me, that I just didn't dare walk them on before now. Thank you Canny Co for your 5 Star service, and your magical collar. Just wish you could come up with weight loss magic for owners now.

They keep deleting my product review…
They keep deleting my product review which is such questionable practices.
It’s a great idea for the canny colossus however the D rings loop doesn’t match the largest buckle hole.
Our 1.5 year old Saint Bernard is on the 5th last buckle hole and the D rings loop doesn’t fit his neck already. I’d suggest buying a different product if you’d like to use it as a normal collar as well.

Hello Gabrielle - the Judge Me reviews you left on our Australian site are not automatically published and due to one of our staff members there undergoing surgery, have not been monitored in the last few days. This has now been rectified and one of your reviews has been published, please accept our apologies. My understanding is that you will also receive a call from one of our Australian team over the next few days. The Canny Colossus is not designed to be used as a normal collar but in addition to your dog's resident collar for training purposes. This is why it does not have a D or O ring to attach a lead to in the same way as your dog's resident collar.
Great product for larger breeds
Great product for larger breeds, we tried collar for first time today and what a difference it has made with walking our 5 month old St Bernard!!

The service and delivery was very swift. The product its self (lead and collar) are fantastic. The first collar my dog hasn't managed to wiggle free from.

Fast delivery! Works great under my dogs muzzle, I was used to walking him in a dogmatic headcollar so this is taking time to get used to handling my dog from a different position but so far so good. He is a 57kg Rottweiler

I really liked the concept of the…
I really liked the concept of the collar hence the 4 stars. Sadly it did not stop our 11 month old Irish Water Spaniel from pulling, and actually made him worse than wearing his Halti head collar that he hates. We will try again when he is older and calmer. lol!

Really good headcollar.
Arrived promptly.
The website instruction video is very clear and the headcollar easy to fit. My dog is far more accepting of this one than the other I tried and makes him far more biddable. So far we have both found this a really useful piece of kit.
