A total waste of time and money
The appointment did not go well and was disastrous. And it was a total waste of my time and money. And I am on a disability pension which I told him and that I could not spend lots of time going through health history, which I had already done, twice in fact. So I had also explained to him that I had already done that with another Naturopath.
And in my first email I stated that I was specifically looking for herbs to treat CML as this is not like other cancers and is more treatable in this manner. He said that is not the way he works. In the end I had no choice but to end the appointment as it was going nowhere useful and he was not listening to me at all.
In the emails that followed this appointment as I disputed payment since he did not do what I requested, he claimed I never told him I was looking for treatment only and yet that was I my very first email to him and it was on the paperwork I filled out where it asks you what your goal is and what you are wanting. I stated "Herbs to treat CML!" So what he said was not true at all as he tried to justify why I should pay for an appointment that was a total waste of my time and money. There were many other issues also and things he believed that were not what the majority believe or teach that were red flags also. But too much to go into. So it cost me a lot of my pension and gave me no help whatsoever and was a total waste of time. And yet in the emails, he claimed I had wasted his time!
He did not pay attention to what I wrote in telling him what I required and never listened to me as I continued to try and tell him all through the appointment that the things he was asking was already done and I was just looking for what herbs, doses and frequency were best as he told me he had experience with this.
I certainly understand why others gave him 1 star only. I cannot afford to throw away what little money I have from my pension like this. I need someone who can listen to begin with and does not have his own ideas that most others would never agree with. So I paid his bill in the end which left me in a bad situation. The whole thing and the emails that followed was extremely stressful and not what cancer patients need. So not only no help, but a very negative and detrimental experience.
