The lead acid batteries in my lawnmower died and I needed to replace them. Searching for replacements led me to Canbat and their lithium battery conversion kit. I appreciated that it was easy to find, clearly stated its compatibility with my model, was reasonably priced, and shipped right to my door in a week. Packaging was well done and included everything but the tools needed to do the conversion. Had no issues installing the new parts and they seem to work well so far.

The rep that called me was extremely helpful. I was on a chat with a rep getting info on a battery. In the middle of the chat I received a call from another rep asking about the application for the battery and other questions. I found this very helpful and ordered the battery as soon as I got off the line. I was impressed with your professionalism and knowledgeable help. The on line purchase was very easy and efficient and the delivery to Anchorage Alaska was faster than most normal deliveries from other US states.
It will be a couple months before testing but this is my second purchase from Canbat and the 36v lithium batteries from my first order still work great.

I ordered 24V 50Ah Lithium Battery (LiFePO4) on November 22 2025. Today is Jan 3 2026.

it's been 42 days! But I still haven't received my battery.

They have told me they would send to me soon more than 10 times!!!

I am quite happy with the battery. They were out of the standard one so I got a free upgrade to the heated model. The casing appears to be well sealed and otherwise built. It was packaged well in multiple layers of heavy cardboard. It replaced a wet battery in a small camping trailer without much electrical load. It charges well from a smart alternator, DC-DC charger, and auxiliary trailer plug that I installed. I am not worried any longer about running out of power on overcast trips. It's a Canadian office of a Chinese company. The staff speak good English and communicate reasonably well. However I did not find the staff knowledgeable in anything battery related. Mostly sales people who dodge your technical questions and direct you to make a purchase as soon as possible. I did find the technical articles on the website useful and informative though. They have their own Android app ("Canbat") for BMS monitoring which is clear and easy to use although they do not mention its existence anywhere on the site or with the product itself that I have found. The price is the best that I have personally found in Canada on LiFEPO4 including free shipping, even to the territories. How long it will last remains to be seen as I have only had it a couple of months. There is a 10 year warranty but they require you to ship it to them which would cost a fortune, as it's dangerous goods. Do your own research on the technology you're buying and follow the operating rules for it to avoid any issues.

The best customer service I've received in a long time. I chatted with their reps online and they made sure I got the right LiFePO4 battery for my Minn Kota trolling motor and an appropriate charger. Can't wait till I get my battery!
