Having now had the opportunity to properly settle into our new home at Lawnswood, we can genuinely say how pleased we are that we chose Cameron Homes.

Our experience started with Hannah, the Sales Executive at Lawnswood, and from the outset we built a great rapport with her. She was knowledgeable, approachable and, importantly, took the time to understand what we were looking for rather than simply trying to sell us a house. She worked with us throughout and genuinely wanted to help us find the right home.

We ultimately purchased the showhome, and we absolutely love it. The specification is excellent, but what has impressed us most is the overall quality and attention to detail throughout the house.

This is our second new-build home, so we had a good benchmark against which to compare the experience. Our first home, purchased around 13 years ago from Barratt, was a positive experience, but there is a noticeable difference with Cameron Homes. This feels like a **premium home rather than a standard new build**. The quality, specification and smaller details really do set it apart.

The same can be said for the Lawnswood development itself. It feels spacious, considered and thoughtfully designed, rather than trying to fit as many houses as possible into the available space. That was one of the things that initially attracted us to Cameron Homes. There is a sense that consideration has been given not just to the individual houses, but to creating a genuinely nice place to live.

In terms of snagging, ours has been minimal overall, particularly considering the complexity of building a new home. Where things have needed attention, the aftercare has been very good. Being on the development while Lawnswood is being completed has certainly been an advantage, with great access to the site and aftercare teams, but we've also been impressed by the attitude and workmanship of the people coming back to complete those final items. There has been a genuine desire to make sure things are **right**, rather than simply ticking something off a list.

No new-build experience will ever be completely without the occasional snag, but for us the measure of a great housebuilder is the quality of the home in the first place and how they respond when something does need attention. On both counts, Cameron Homes have delivered.

We absolutely love our home and the Lawnswood development. Having now experienced two different new-build housebuilders, Cameron Homes really does feel a cut above and deserving of its position as a premium housebuilder.

After living in our current home for 31 years, it was a major decision for us to move down and we were only prepared to do this for the right property. When we spotted our Cameron home, it was already completed. Our first contact during a show home visit was Tracy and ever since then she has been exceptional. She understood our situation and how important it was for us to find the right home. She was never pushy, gave us so much time and guidance without ever putting pressure on us. Since making our reservation we have had a long 7 month journey due to our chain breaking down twice and us having to re-sell. Cameron Homes have been super patient, allowing us time to re-sell and sticking with us to ensure we secured our home. Both Holly at Head Office and Tracy have always communicated brilliantly and answered all our many requests and questions. Nothing has been too much trouble. We have felt understood & listened to throughout.
We finally move into our new home next week and are confident that we will be looked after.

Really dissapointed in Cameron after rating them as really good.
We have had an o going problem with our ceiling which started flaking within months of moving in,they sent someone to fix it but within months was worse eith what looked like a water mark around it,when someone came again to look at it they said it had been painted before plaster was dry so second repair.Its now worse than ever but because we were a month out of warrany period they are now saying its a general maintinence problem despite it being ongoing for 18 months and never resolved.

Washing machine installed incorrectly and flooded my kitchen horrendously on first use! Not classed as an emergency so left to sort the mess out myself.

Buying and moving into a new home is one of the most exciting experiences, but it can also be one of the most stressful. One of the main reasons I chose a new build property was the opportunity to create a home that suited my taste and lifestyle from the very beginning, and I’m pleased to say that my home has turned out exactly as I hoped.

I chose this development and location because I love the Southwell area and the beautiful surroundings. Being able to select the finishes and specifications throughout the process made the house truly feel like my own from day one.

As with any new build, there were a few snagging issues after moving in, but what really matters is how those issues are handled. The customer service and aftercare team have been excellent throughout, always responding professionally and working hard to resolve any concerns quickly and efficiently.

A special thank you to Holly, Leanne, VJ and Ben, who have been incredibly helpful, supportive and reassuring throughout the journey. Their commitment to customer care has made a real difference and helped make the whole experience much smoother.

Today, I’m the proud owner of a home that I genuinely love, and I’m grateful to everyone involved who helped make that happen.

We moved into our new home a week ago in Mapperley Meadows and honestly the whole experience has been fantastic so far. We are really impressed with the quality of the home and how smooth the entire process has been.

A huge thank you to Tiana, who has been absolutely amazing throughout. She has genuinely gone above and beyond for us from start to finish and has made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and enjoyable. Buying your first home can feel overwhelming, especially with all the choices and decisions, but Tiana was always there to help and guide us through everything. She honestly felt like a best friend throughout the entire process and nothing was ever too much trouble and she always made us feel comfortable asking absolutely anything.

We also want to thank Rob and the site team, who have all been incredibly helpful. Rob gave a really thorough induction when we moved in and explained everything we needed to know clearly, and has been around to help us settle in.

So far we couldn’t be happier with our experience and are really enjoying our new home!

Visited the site and saw everything available. Work still to be done, finishing, etc. all fully explained. All relevant drawings were shown. Amie couldn’t have been more helpful.

Cameron homes have been very professional since I purchased my home. I did have a couple of teething problems at the start with my house being a new build, but with the help of two individual’s Jodie and Dan they both worked hard in getting my issues resolved! I could not be happier with there professionalism. Great work from both of them!

Aime and Hannah were amazing! It’s been the easiest purchase we have ever made! We are so happy with our beautiful home. Still a few snags to be dealt with but we are confident that Mac has these in hand. Highly recommend Cameron as a builder, we’ve had many new builds and this is by far the best quality new build we’ve had.

Great, informative, patient sales team. I have enjoyed dealing with every person within the sales team at Cameron Homes. I would like to especially mention Amie and Leanne at the Bramley Fields site in Southwell.

My parents live in Shrewsbury and are currently looking to downsize. We were aware of Cameron Homes from their previous development in Bomere Heath, so decided to look at what was on offer.

Kiran was really helpful and was more than happy to answer all our questions (there were many from my elderly parents!) and although my parents have yet to put their home on the market, they are very interested in moving to Willow Rise.

A big ‘thank you’ to Kiran for all her help so far.

We recently moved into our new home with Cameron Homes and the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. However, I felt compelled to leave this review specifically to highlight our aftercare support, and in particular, one team member who has gone above and beyond every single time.

Donna has been nothing short of incredible. Every time we have submitted a query or needed support after moving in, she has responded promptly, warmly, and with outstanding communication throughout. She is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about making sure everything is resolved to a high standard.

I have never experienced aftercare support of this quality before, and it has made such a positive difference to our overall experience with Cameron Homes. Donna truly deserves to be recognised. She is a shining example of exceptional customer service and Cameron Homes should be incredibly proud to have her on their team.

Great service received by Hannah at Lawnswood during our recent visit. We’re looking to purchase a new home soon and Hannah answered all of many questions in great detail.

We’re local to Brailsford and are looking to move into the village. As we’ve never owned a new-build home before, we’ve been considering our many options within the area. Cameron Homes has by far exceeded our expectations and Tracy has been a great help in answering all of our questions so far. While we are yet to find the right home, we’ll certainly be keeping a close eye on Cameron Homes’ future developments.

Poor service!

Please be careful with Cameron Homes selling you the dream of living in a semi-rural development that will also contain residents from a housing association. I bought from Cameron nearly 2 years ago and for 2 years it has been horrible to live here, and my mental health has really deteriorated. Just be mindful when purchasing about the position of your homes and what you think the "dream" will actually be like. I am fully aware Cameron have no choice but to also build affordable housing but it seems they have no liability to check the housing associations vetting processes will be suitable for the development.

Pleasant and quick process when purchasing my first home with Cameron Homes. Hannah, Amy and Mac were the ones who I spoke to the entire time and can’t fault the service given. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable people that have helped with anything regarding my property. Love the location here at Lawnswood, and build quality on the house is very good also. Overall very happy and recommend Cameron Homes, especially here at Lawnswood

I've got no idea where to start, but our experience with Cameron Homes has been beyond fantastic. I've got to say a huge, huge thank you to Tiana at the Mapperley Meadows site, who has gone above and beyond since our very first visit to ensure our experience has been top tier. As we were buying our first house, I had a billion and one questions (yep - I'm that person!) and Tiana has been amazing - professional, unbelievably helpful, very quick to reply to all emails/texts with anything I've requested (and if she didn't have the answer, she spoke to the relevant person within the technical team or commercial team to get the answer for me straight away). She's a joy to work with and speak to, and through some of the stresses of moving into our first home and navigating a couple of challenges on our end, Tiana was there to support every step of the way. I cannot fault the experience we've had so far, and a huge part of that is due to how fantastic Tiana has been. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much!!

Although I am still in the process of buying a property at Cameron builders, Mapperley Meadows, Nottingham, the outstanding service I am receiving to date is brilliant.
