I've only been entering Camera…
I've only been entering Camera Competitions for a couple of weeks. Last Wednesday I bought a few tickets on a whim. A few hours later I got a congratulations email to say I'd won a Canon lens! I replied, opting for the cash alternative. The next morning I had a call from the wonderful Sheralyn (from their camera shop in Wells, Somerset) to check my bank details. The money hit my account a couple of days later - just in time to get my van through its MOT!
This was the first thing I've ever won, and I'm so grateful to the guys at Camera Competitions and for the solid camera advice I got over the phone. If I can win, so can you!

Real competition, lovely team of staff and very speedy with prizes!
I had a lovely unexpected notification that I was a main prize winner and spoke to the lovely Sherralyn, who kindly gave me a call and was so impressed by the process. I was given time to make my mind up on either prize option or the cash alternative. I went for the cash alternative on this occasion and the money was paid into my account on the same day. As someone who worked hard to buy a first pro camera to now having my photos published across many media formats - this competition could is such a great idea. Whether for hobby, to take a step up to a pro level or getting those accessories like a macbook to help along the way - for the price you pay this is a great and meaninful competition. Big thank you to Chris also who helped make the process smooth!
