Best Black Americano in months!!
I was recently in Cafe Nero in Southfields where my Brother and I were served by the most delightful Barista called Sana. In an age where we can be so quick to complain and slow to praise, I would like to Thank Sana for not just being professional, she made my Americano perfectly all while having a delightful conversation with me, then seeing I had a walking disability was kind enough to assist by carrying our food and drinks to a table my Brother had
gone ahead to hold. Nothing was too much trouble for her but most importantly she makes excellent coffee, that's the best I've had in months in the main coffee shops, many could learn a thing or two from her! Well Done Sana ⭐ keep up the good work.

What is going on in Cafe Nero Wetherby
What is going on in Cafe Nero Wetherby? Reduced opening hours, staff who think that they are doing you a favour serving you and throwing food that you have ordered to each other. I had previously enjoyed coming in here and found it to be a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment until a couple of weeks ago - there seems to be a change in staff and focus on getting paying customers out with open conversations between staff about what they need to do to get present customers out!! It doesn't make for a great atmosphere.

at a recent visit to cafe Nero in Edinburgh station, I ordered an American with skimmed milk, an iced latte and a regular latte. When I took the drinks back to the table I noticed that the americano was black. My wife then returned to the counter, queued again and when she asked for some hot milk she was sworn at by the serving staff. It was a busy day at the cafe but there was no need to use abusive language.
Bath Southgate, horrid manager
The management of the Bath Southgate branch is disgusting, the poor barista behind the bar was left on his own from 2:30, he was told he could not close early by his area manger who had no sympathy and had to keep the store open all on his own until 7:45 while in clear distress after finding this out at exactly 2:30, the manager just got up and left him to deal with the chaos on his own. I have never seen a company treat their staff so bad. Isn’t this the first time it’s happened and this isn’t the only store it’s happen to. Disgusting behaviour and vile treatment of staff.
Warwick uni campus sports centre Nero
Warwick uni campus sports centre Nero - 25min wait for a sausage roll to be heated. Not particularly busy, plenty of staff - just useless. Not even an apology when they were hassled and finally managed the complicated operation. I wanted to leave after 5mins but my partner insisted we stay! Find another place not staffed with lazy incompetent people is my advise.
Refused extra shot of chocolate!
Just been to the café Nero in Amersham… being in Amersham for the last 20 years this is our regular. The lady working there today, Tuesday 3rd June, at around 14.20 said we couldn’t have an extra scoop of chocolate in our mocha. Every time we’ve asked we’ve never been told no. She point blank refused even when I asked her for the second time politely to confirm that she’d actually refused. We then walked out and went and gave our business to Harris and Hoole instead. Who said “yes of course” and made my mocha just how I like it. Couldn’t understand why she couldn’t put an extra scoop in when we’ve asked for it previously and whoever has been there has always done it for us. Coffee is a very personal thing and everyone likes it in a certain way and that’s just how I like mine.

I visited café Nero on Sunday, the 1st of June at their branch of the Brighton Road. I ordered a regular extra hot plain hot chocolate however was a first given a medium lukewarm hot chocolate which was 95% froth. I returned the hot chocolate asking whether or not this was all froth the barister took the hot chocolate and returned a medium hot chocolate however when I took the drink back to the car and began to drink it I found that it was 95% hot milk. There was very little of any chocolate within the drink.
Or caffeine Nero undergoing cost saving measures as their drinks are really falling short of their usual standard. I was really disappointed and won’t be going back to that particular branch.

A shout out to RJ @Berkhamsted Nero. A well run Nero which is managed brilliantly and is a go-to of choice, daily. Coffee made and crafted by RJ is exceptional. He has a gift for presentation, which is not always easy with oat milk. Lovely staff and lovely coffee🤎
Just visited Nero Drottninggatan 86
Just visited Nero Drottninggatan 86, in Stockholm. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Store very modern and spotlessly clean. Selection of food much better than my own Nero in London. Manager Anton came over and welcomed me to Sweden. Some Nero’s in London should visit and see how they do things in Sweden. 5 star rating totally deserved. I will be back!

Too expensive and ridiculous portions
Too expensive and ridiculous portions. Nero is cutting down on the size cake slices. I received a trace of a banana loaf slice today at Milton Keynes shopping centre, was tempted to give it back, really not worth it.

Honest review…
I wanted to share my recent experience in hopes it helps improve service in the future. When I requested a no-ice drink, I was surprised to receive a cup that was only half full. I was told it was due to standard measurements, but this feels unfair—especially when the store had already run out of ice by 6pm during a peak time.
Customers should have the choice to enjoy their drinks the way they prefer, whether with or without ice. Someone might be trying a new drink and may not want it cold, so it’s disappointing to be met with resistance instead of flexibility.
The staff seemed surprised that I still wanted the drink without ice, which didn’t feel welcoming. A more friendly approach—and even just a little extra milk or syrup to top up the drink—could go a long way in creating a better experience.
I hope this feedback helps bring some positive changes for both staff and customers in the future

Sorry Loughborough town centre branch but first time visit and sadly the last. Tables splattered in drink spills. 9.30am visit for 40 mins. Not at all busy, didn’t see anyone wipe the tables, only clear them.

Nothing ever changes with this company. Never employs enough staff so you are left with cluttered tables after the invariable long wait to be served. When you are served you are given the hard sell on the tasteless and wholly non nutritious garbage that masquerades as food.
The WiFi doesn’t work to a speed that is functional and the app scanner rarely works first time.
Inside is always comfortable but the management - impervious to all feedback - look at the reviews on here - outs abject greed above customer satisfaction.
