Exceeded Expectations!
I asked James for help and info on some work he didn't have listed and he did everything I asked and more! The guy is polite, responsive and goes above and beyond to help you! He has done an absolutely amazing job and I couldn't be happier! I sent it out and it was back within a few days! I would 100% recommend him if you're looking for repairs or mods and i will definitely be using his services again in the future!

Above and beyond
James went above and beyond to clean up and install a mod into my xbox 360. He replaced the thermal paste to increase the longevity of the console and even installed some nice blue leds. The entire process and shipping was super fast and he always responded promptly. I would definitely recommend him for any console work you may need

Xbox Upgrades
James did an RGH mod on my 360
and upgraded the hard drives in this as well as Original Xbox. As he was waiting for parts for other jobs, I had the console back in a record time of 24 hours, excellent work!

Friendly service and exemplary work
My email regarding work on my Switch was replied to within minutes, on a Friday evening no less. All my questions were answered, and James made sure I knew what would be undertaken, and that all the details were understood.
The Switch was with him the next day by post, and withing 2 or so hours, he had finished the work, and sent me lovely high magnification pictures of the work. The Switch was back with me the next working day and it is now working perfectly. I couldn't be happier
All in all a fantastic service that outdoes most other companies regardless of their size.

Soldering master!
I reached out to James to see if he could do some work on my switch. He got back to me instantly we agreed on the work that needed to be done and price. Received my switch back around a business day and the work that James carried out is flawless, customer service is brilliant, any questions I had he answered with full detail which you don’t see a lot these days. Pleasure doing business with bytesfree and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants work on their switch!

RGH 360 "Insufficient Ventilation"
My RGH 360 was crashing within a few minutes of having "insufficient ventilation". Sent it to James and he had it all fixed, sorted and back to me within a few days. Perfect!

Best customer service ever!
I have honestly had the best customer service I've ever experienced from James at Bytes Free. Was super helpful and explained thoroughly to me my options before we agreed on the work to be done. After sales support has also been excellent and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Fantastic service letting me relive my childhood
James did a brilliant job installing the Picoboot for my gamecube! It has saved me a significant chunk of work learning how to solder.
The photos he provided of the solder job looked really neat/clean.
Having an absolute blast reliving my childhood weekends!

James was brilliant! Explained all of the available options available for my GameCube and recommended based on my needs. I posted my GameCube out to him to carry out the work and had it back within the week. Top stuff, highly recommended!
