Purchased one of their hampers for my wife. They had not even sent it, days passed and nothing! But they were quick to take my money! I still have not received it and still no response from this mob! I have now escalated issue! Avoid this business
Arranged a delivery for my bereaved cousin on 25 Nov 2025. Received a “could not deliver” note from courier. Trying to contact them to deal with this was very hard. Phone rang no answer, left a chat message to call me, no one rang. Emailed as well. Then finally got through on chat line after a few days where I explicitly asked them to contact my cousin to deliver. They asked if I wanted them to contact my cousin (?!). Confirmed yes. Alerted my cousin to the pending contact. They told her it would be delivered on Monday. Was not delivered. Now another week has gone by and both my cousin and I have been contacting them via email and chat, as well as the courier company, plus left phone message. So, so, frustrating - is this a scam site? What was meant to be a nice gesture of love and care has turned into an admin nightmare. I see some people have received their goods …so what on earth is going on?? Today is 7 Dec 2025. I will be asking for a full refund and will find a reliable vendor next time.
UPDATE refund was processed, although I still received a notification from the courier a few days later that the package had been delivered to my cousin but there was no sign of it.
Amazing products, I got the Byron Bites hamper and my mum absolutely loved it. The staff were very helpful with my order, and it arrived on the date I had booked. Would definitely recommend for birthdays and Christmas
I ordered a hamper with additional items. I ordered from Perth to be delivered to a Melbourne address. The website allows you to choose the date of delivery (by electing a day on a calendar) and offers free shipping for orders over $100.
When received in Melbourne, the hamper was missing items. I emailed to explain the missing items and asked them to be sent on to the Melbourne address.
I received an email from the owner of the business stating that they were glad it had arrived because they upgraded postage to express (which was not a requirement on their website for next day delivery and I simply paid the calculated amount at the checkout as everyone does online). The owner also said she would be sending an express envelope for me to send items back (impossible because I am in Perth, not Melbourne). In any event, the items she asked to be returned were items properly in the order for which I had paid. So the owner not only got the original order wrong but got it wrong a second time by incorrectly asking me to send back items.
I called to explain her error.
She was aggressive on the phone, demanded that I "say thank you" for the upgrade, asserted that I was calling because I wanted "freebies" from her and was extremely unpleasant to the point where I had to hang up to avoid her.
Then, in response to my google review, she stated that I had shouted and used profanities causing her "staff" distress which is completely untrue. She confirmed to me that she was the owner of the business so I'm not sure who this member of "staff" was.
This business owner not only made multiple mistakes but does not understand how her own webpage works.
An awful and bizarre experience.
Was looking for a birthday hamper for a friend for her birthday and found these guys! Ordered and it didn't take long for the hamper to get to my friend (i paid for express though) She loved it & it looked awesome & exactly like the picture. They also deliver it in a separate box inside the box so nothing gets destroyed! I love they offer payment options like afterpay which is what i used!
They lie and tell you your hamper will be delivered by a certain date but it is never delivered on the day promised. I specifically needed it delivered by a certain date as the recipient will no longer be at the delivery address after a certain date, their staff lied to me that it would arrive by this date if I ordered immediately - I did, it wasn't delivered. It's now due to be delivered almost a week later which is useless since the recipient won't be there! Thanks for nothing Byron Bay Gifts, I am disappointed that I trusted you, unreliable.
Great hamper packs have found some great gifts for birthdays and special events. They reward regular customers with discount codes too unlike other companies that only offer new customer discounts
