Confirmed promotional items removed after payment
I placed my order because it clearly included specific promotional items, including the Angels’ Share Discovery Trio, a 7.5 ml Angels’ Share Deluxe Sample, Princess The Narcotics 1.5 ml and Born to Be Unforgettable 1.5 ml. These items were displayed in my cart and officially confirmed in the order confirmation at the time of payment. That confirmed bundle was the reason I completed the purchase.
After my payment was accepted, those items were cancelled due to “temporary out of stock” and internal company policy. I was offered a €20 refund for the Angels’ Share Discovery Trio.
Customer service confirmed that the products are only temporarily unavailable, yet the company refuses to send them once restocked.
From a customer’s perspective, this feels extremely unfair. The order was confirmed. Payment was accepted. And only afterwards, the confirmed contents were changed.
This is not about small samples. It is about honoring confirmed terms and maintaining trust. When a luxury brand accepts payment and then modifies a confirmed order, it seriously undermines confidence.
Very disappointing experience.
