I suspended my membership of the Harrow branch for a month in the middle of July and I should not have been charged the monthly fee of £34.99 until September.

Instead, they attempted to take £34.99 on the 4th August.

When I wrote to them, they denied it and said they had attempted to take the freeze fee of £5 and there were not enough funds. They also cancelled my membership.

I told them that the bank had texted me to say someone had attempted to take £34.99 and I contacted the bank and was surprised to find out it was Buzz Gym.

There had been £13 in the account so the £5 fee, had they charged it, would have easily cleared.

They then wrote to me to say it was a "system error" and it was out of their control.

I wrote back to them to say that what was in their control was to have looked into my initial complaint properly, rather than firing off a reply saying it was because I did not have the £5 in my account. They would have seen that they were still trying to charge me for a normal month's membership.

After a few email exchanges, I would advise anyone to really think carefully before joining this gym as when things go wrong, there is no genuine attempt to investigate what happened.

The customer service was appalling.

Very disappointing experience. I tried to cancel my membership through the website, but the cancellation option wasn't available. I contacted customer service and was told my final payment would still be taken due to the notice period, which I accepted. However, after the payment was taken, my account was deactivated and I still can't log in or access the gym, despite being told my membership would be reinstated once the payment cleared.

I've had to send multiple emails just to try to access a membership I've already paid for. Cancelling a gym membership should not be this complicated or frustrating.

I'd strongly encourage anyone considering personal training at Buzz Gym Reading to think carefully before paying in advance.
I paid £420 upfront for a 12-session personal training package with a trainer at this branch, who at the time held the title of Assistant Manager. Payment was made directly to his personal bank account, at his instruction, rather than to any official Buzz Gym company account — something I only questioned after problems started.
Of the 12 sessions paid for, only 3 were delivered. Sessions were then repeatedly cancelled or postponed over consecutive days, with a different reason given each time. When I asked for a refund for the 8 sessions I never received, I was told first that "gym policy doesn't allow refunds," then that the payment was "a personal matter, nothing to do with Buzz Gym," and finally that a refund could be arranged — but only weeks later, on a date that suited him.
I raised this directly with the gym owner by email, with full evidence attached, and received no response.
I've since had to escalate this through my bank, the Financial Ombudsman Service, and Action Fraud. None of that should have been necessary for a gym membership and PT package.

I canceled my membership but after 3 months I noticed they have charged membership for last 3 months. Then I asked them to refund it. It was the problem with their system and they said they can’t refund because I didn’t cancel the membership.
They can see that I haven’t visited the gym for months and I move my location. I can prove everything but still they refused to refund my money.

Don’t go to this gym !!!!

The reason I’ve given five stars is even though it’s a state of the art Gym with many free
weights and excellent machines it’s also because of the staff especially Maria John and Angela they put a lot of effort into the classes and I am extremely grateful as since I’ve been going to Buzz Gym I’ve lost 3 1/2 stone i do just classes and find that works for me , I do Hyrox spin and boxing . I highly recommend this Gym to anybody who wants to get Fit. 


Buzz gym London, is a great gym at a competitive price.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
If you need any personal training then I recommend the fantastic five, they go by the names of Jacob, Ian, Billy, Tyrone and Richard. Sure to help you achieve your fitness goals!

I Love Buzz Gym. It has everything you would need and the staff are so friendly and really create an environment that I feel comfortable in.

Worst customer service. They send loads of emails for joining the gym membership, but when I requested for a change in membership due to a confusion with a delay in my month start date, they sent a one line response saying they can't do anything. Extremely disappointing. Never using them again!

Well equipped, clean and friendly staff.

Really enjoy training at Buzz. The atmosphere’s great — always clean, good music, and a mix of people who actually want to train. Staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. Feels like a proper gym community, not just another chain.

Fantastic Experience at Buzz!
I came to Buzz to use the treadmill for my marathon training, and it was exactly what I needed! Even though I went at a busy time, there was still loads of space and no problem getting on a machine. The atmosphere is really motivating. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend for anyone training seriously or just looking for a great gym to work out in!

Absolutely love Buzz Gym! The staff are super friendly and the vibe is always welcoming. Great value, amazing atmosphere, and an incredible range of equipment; it’s got everything you could possibly need for a great training session!

This gym in high Wycombe specifically is well equipped with enough machines and weights. It has also recently had new equipment added like belts for attaching weights on them, and I usually don’t have to wait long to use certain machines or equipments

I recently relocated and I've been a members since Buzz Gym Harrow opened, i only have great things to say about the gym. The staff have been amazing very helpful & friendly, the other members are friendly. Great equipment for the price that you pay.
