A Practical, Supportive Approach to Long-Term Financial Growth
While I’ve only been involved with BudgetDog for about two months, I’m already seeing the benefits of the helpful information, resources, tools, and community it provides—and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of its full potential.
What really makes this program stand out is the community. Being able to engage with others who are currently working through the program, as well as those who have already completed it but remain active in supporting BudgetDog members, has been incredibly helpful and inspiring. That sense of shared purpose helps keep motivation and discipline strong, even when life gets busy.
Although the program is mapped out over six months, you can move through it at your own pace. If you fall behind, it’s completely okay—there’s no pressure. I work full-time, run and own a business, and manage my family’s schedule, so I’m not perfectly on track, but the community and team continue to be supportive and even check in periodically. That encouragement helps with both accountability and staying focused.
It is certainly an investment, but if you’re serious about improving how you manage your finances and investments for the long term—and building practical, sustainable habits along the way—it’s absolutely worth it.
Highly recommend.

Fast forward a very nice gentlemen from BD reach out to me personally via phone call because apparently there was a glitch in the system preventing me from receiving my item. Taking the Budget Dog Academy program…
Taking the Budget Dog Academy program was an awesome experience for me. I came in already feeling confident about my financial knowledge because of the foundation my dad taught me growing up. But BDA took that knowledge and expanded it in a way that made my approach much more proactive instead of reactive.
The program helped me refine my budgeting, dial in my spending habits, and really take control of my financial planning. What stood out the most was learning how to stay ahead of my finances—actively editing and improving my budget while consistently investing and building wealth instead of just reacting to what happens month to month.
It gave me a more structured system and a deeper understanding of how to stay at the forefront of my investments and overall financial strategy. If you already have a basic understanding of money management or no idea at all, BDA does a great job of creating or sharpening those skills and helping you apply them in a more intentional and disciplined way.
Overall, it was a great experience that built on what I already knew and helped turn it into a stronger, more proactive financial game plan.

If I could rate Budgetdog Academy (BDA)…
If I could rate Budgetdog Academy (BDA) on a scale of 0-10, I would absolutely give it an 11! Never have I felt so empowered, knowledgeable, and confident as I do now, in relation to my family's finances. I never paid attention to my retirement money. Knew literally nothing about it...now I know ALOT about it. I knew nothing about investing, now I'm learning SO MUCH about it. Had no idea how to get a true handle on our debt. Now, I've built amortization schedules, set up our AI powered budget (which is amazing BTW), set our retirement goals, determined our cash flow, and the best part?!? Eliminated THOUSANDS of dollars of unnecessary spending from our monthly budget. For the first time, we have a clear path forward. No more being stuck in slow motion, hoping to pay off our debt in 27 years and barely be able to make ends meet for retirement. BDA is empowering and a wealth of knowledge for those who are motivated to work hard and learn how to make your life better, and easier. Their coaches are outstanding and are always available to help any time you need them. Just send a message and by the time you wake up (haha), there's an answer! I wish every member of my family would do this academy and learn how to be smarter and more confident with money. Brennan has done something truly special here with Budgetdog Academy and I couldn't be more grateful.

I had been sitting on the side-line for…
I had been sitting on the side-line for 2-3 years watching and listening to Brennan about BDA. Right before I joined I signed up with a CFP and loved everything they said. However, it has been longer than 6 months since starting with them and I don’t feel any further than I was.
2 weeks into BDA and we feel more empowered about our finances more than ever. We just needed to see the numbers, see where we spending, get shown what to track and how. Looking forward to redirecting money into investment and savings accounts and to financial freedom!
