BEWARE [PLEASE, REALLY BEWARE]
I couldn't recommend this guy less. As I have questioned a few of the methods online, via instagram, paid for some of his product, and genuinely am looking for conversation, there is none of that. I honestly don't know how he has continued to get so many people hooked at $5k plus fees on his stuff. He also walks and talks about his faith but when it comes to sharpening, he tends to get back into the darkness.
I bought their academy class while also interviewing them for their $5k plus working sessions. After I was blocked on instagram [see their response] for challenging some of their insights and “recommendations”.
Their defense of their faith from their response to my original review comes to the fact they Brennan has openly discussed this as one of the “Top things to keep” for financial peace. While I full-heartedly agree with this as a principal / habit / living. It isn’t a personal attack when it’s promoted. I was providing honest feedback via comments on their posts via SM.
I have tried to have honest conversation with them, but blocking and deleting my comments because they point to the crack in the thought process isn’t right.

We’ve never actually worked with you directly inside our program, which makes this review difficult to meaningfully address.
You mentioned attempting to reach out through Instagram. While we do our best to respond to messages and comments, we receive a very large volume daily and unfortunately not every notification or DM is seen. If your genuine intention is to have a real conversation, we’re absolutely open to that and would encourage you to contact our support team directly so we can actually help.
You also referenced “$5k+ fees,” which is not reflective of our pricing structure, so that information is inaccurate for anyone reading this today.
As for the comments regarding faith and “darkness,” we honestly do not know what you are referring to, and it feels more personal in nature than related to any actual experience with our products or services.
We take real feedback seriously and are always willing to have productive conversations rooted in specific concerns and actual experiences.

Practical, structured, no hype
Halfway through the BudgetDog Academy and it's already paid for itself. Brennan's framework is clear, structured, and built around real financial principles — not the hype you see all over social media. The weekly content is digestible, the templates (budget, balance sheet, debt payoff) are practical tools I'll use for years, and the investing module especially helped me move from random stock-picking to a disciplined, low-cost ETF strategy aligned with my goals.
What sets it apart: it forces you to actually do the work — build your own budget, track your net worth, define your goals — instead of just consuming content. Strong recommend for anyone serious about taking control of their finances.

If you’re anything like me—decent income, feel like you’ve got your finances handled, know where your money should be going…
…take another look. I did, and I was way more off than I thought.
My wife and I have a baby on the way, and I started feeling that pressure—like I needed to tighten things up without making life miserable.
We ended up trying Budgetdog, and honestly within a couple months I felt way more in control. Less guessing, less stress, more intentional.

Within 5 short weeks of using Budgetdog's program, I went from thinking that I would never be able to retire to realizing I'm actually only a few years away from retirement if I choose! An investment that keeps paying dividends
I have accomplished so much in such a short period of time (3 months, half of the academy), getting my investments, life insurance and budget completely in control. Brennan and his team have been instrumental in guiding me through every step of the way. I thought I had a good handle on my finances but when I came across Budgetdog, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more. I signed up and started a deep dive on my finances and I have learned a lot! Even though I followed a budget for years I was able to identify several areas in my budget that I was wasting vast sums of money. My budget has been tightened up considerably and I’m able to prioritize the things most important to me. Brennan and his team are a wealth of knowledge and support. The online community is amazingly supportive of each other’s successes and is quick to share knowledge. If you are looking for a path to get out of debt, improve your investing knowledge and all other things financial…do not hesitate to join the Academy. The steps are laid out for you…all you have to do is put the work in to follow them!
