Really bad customer service. And goods are over priced. How can you be more expensive than morrisons?

Bought a warm chicken from here that was past it's sell by date. Heard old member of staff swearing and screaming at young staff members for mopping with hot water and not cold. Place needs shutting down it's so dirty.

Ignorant, arrogant, unhelpful staff. Often don't wear masks and if you ask them to you get a disgusted look and some mumbled angry reply. You have to check everything before you buy it as you will find food that is weeks or months out of date. Once complained about this, they took the item from me then put it back on the shelf when they didn't think I was looking. Far too expensive for poor quality. Poor range and choice of foods. People I know would rather walk the further distance to Sainsburys than shop here. Horrible, depressing place.

Well yet again in Budgens on Buckingham Park, Aylesbury staff are not challenging/refusing to serve people without masks, this morning 16th Jan at approx 8.35am two people one guy about 50 and his partner no masks and nothing said, I have previously asked the management about this and they do nothing, best now not to shop there as is unsafe BEWARE.

Budgens east finchley, staff attitude and very high prices.Went today to get Dairy free Baileys...as it was back of the counter I asked the till operator I wanted one so he swiped it on the till I had such a shock when he said the 70cl bottle was £32.50, no way I said...I bought last Xmas from another super market it was about £16, asked him to check the price again,he abruptly pointed at the ticket and said thats the price and do I want it, obviously I didnt buy,he didn't bother to check if it was correct price...as I was in hurry I didn't ask for the manager, when I got home checked on several supermarkets websites it was £16...so Budgens are charging more than double for it, the original is about £18.99.How can this be justified and surely this should be investigated by trading standards.Total ripoff

Budgens Wednesbury. Shout out to the great staff they have there who have to put up with my nuisance on a regular basis. Always a pleasure going in. All the best lads and lasses

Budgen 1 main rd, Meriden CV7 7 LN, is advertising as local parcel shops for delivery from courier a Hermes Zalando etc , 3 times they sent my parcel back within a space of a day and a half and tried to conceal It as a problem with Hermes, we trashed the truth out of them,AVOID using this parcel shop , they are taking money from couriers for acting as a deliver ally and deceiving customers blaming courier that they took parcels back and shrugging they don’t know anything? Today on cornering the owner he owned up and when was found out he was rude and aggressive and put phone down on me, totally disgraceful person and my experience.Had they advertised before hand their self made policy I would Have never use their service,So letting all local people know avoid them otherwise you will waste your time sorting your lost parcels.

Staff not wearing masks when less than 1m from customer and face to face ,zero social distancing guidelines being followed by staff or customers.
Customers not bothering with masks either but then the staff couldn't care less.

My partner bought a bunch of flowers on his way home from work at the budgens mini market at Paulerspury filling station, Watling Street - the first thing I noticed was they looked a bit limp, so I took them out of the wrapping and noticed that the display by date was 21/09/20 - it is the 26/9/20 today - they are actually five days passed the display by date. Admittedly, I phoned them and they have told me to bring them back so they can sort it out. It may just be an oversight, but it shouldn't happen. It just proves that you need to check display by, use by and sell by dates when buying things, especially if they are perishable.

Coulsdon branch over priced and very rude staff avoid as much as posible

Have used this store for 16 years since moving to W’boro. Since it’s become Budgens, the choice, the value, the customer service, everything has gone downhill. I won’t use this store unless it’s an emergency.

Budgens in Lymm are terrible. I ordered a magic bag only to discover there wasn’t one. I drove a long way From Sale with my young daughter At 7pm only to discover there wasn’t one. I have recently lost my job and this service is a life line to feeding my family even out of date fruit and veg is better than none. I spent money on petrol getting there and the server was so rude no apology no sympathy just a flat “ there isn’t one take it up with the manager tomorrow “. I was devastated. You should not subscribe to this service and offer the magic bags if they are not available. So upset.

In date salmon, chicken and prawns bought from different Budgens stores looked and smelled putrid and had to be thrown away.

Don’t go there! Chronic incompetence. Just travelled to collect a food package ordered through too good to go. Paid for it, travelled to get it, and was told “oh the manager forgot to cancel it”. Pathetic! If you are going to participate in these things, at least do it properly. I won’t be back and will be sure to share my experience further.

Budgens, Trowbridge Hackett place. Most unprofessional store I’ve ever visited. Certain members of Staff are obnoxious and rude, their customer service skills are non existent. Check your receipts as I’ve often been charged more than I should have as offers on the shelves don’t correspond to the tills. Today was the straw that broke the camels back and I will not be using this store ever again and will tell everyone I know to avoid it also.

I would’ve given Budgens a 5* but when I was last at Budgens I witnessed a man threaten a younger male near the freezers with a notepad. I am surprised that no members of staff stopped this disturbance as the man looked violent.
I will continue to shop at Budgens, let’s just hope this doesn’t happen again.
Apart from the one bad incident I’ve witnessed, Budgens sale a wide range of products at a decent price.

I am a regular customer at Budgens but on my most recent trip to Budgens in Box 2/04/2020.
I was horrified to see someone who works at Budgens on their day off threaten another customer! Telling him that he wanted to fight him and then pee on him once he had finished.
I know that this person works at Budgens in Box because i sometimes fuel up my car at night.
People like him has really put me off this shop and I hope that something gets sorted because no customer deserves to be threatened by anyone especially an employee! It looks awful on the company. The man even put his notepad in the customers face and everyone looked uncomfortable in the store.

I'm so impressed with Budgen in Walkern. Who are not only providing an invaluable service to,their village, but to the surrounding villages aswell. They havent put their prices up stupidly like some other shops and they have started a no-contact delivery service for the old and vunerable and people self isolating. They are doing such a kind thing for our little villages and we, as a family will remember the kindness they are showing in these uncertain times.

Went to Budgens today. Very happy to see they are “observing social distancing” with areas marked out in store. However, when you get in the que, other customers rub past you and the staff are none the wiser. When you get to checkout, you are now shoulder to shoulder with the other customers. What a joke.

Today I received delivery of my online shopping only for the delivery driver to leave my entire order outside MY FLAT BUILDING not my door & he stated he was not allowed in the building. When I called to speak to someone regarding this I was shouted at in the rudest manner & told I should be grateful I even got my order. In all my years of shopping I have never heard such a ridiculous & rude response. Why advertise as delivery to the door when your food could be left outside a block of flats they may as well have left it at the end of my street.
False advertising & poor customer service skills by Akia as although I have a sick relative in hospital with covid-19 I should have to understand the stress he was under.
I was brought to tears by this rude imbecile & was told to shop else where, I will gladly & also will let as many people know too.
