Absolute debacle. Ordered a very expensive item but not sent, not sent, then their ridiculous logistics company said they had sent an email but hadn't. Ended up cancelling out of pure frustration. Never again.

Hi Nicola,
For clarity, your order was placed on Monday 8th September with an estimated delivery of 16th - 17th September. This delivery window was displayed on the product page, in the basket, and again at checkout so customers could make an informed decision before purchasing.
As promised in our communications, the item was collected on Friday 12th September by Kinetic, a specialist courier with a strong track record for safely handling large and fragile items. I confirmed with you then that your order remained on track for delivery within the timeframe.
When you raised concerns on Monday 15th September as to why it had not yet been delivered, I re-shared Kinetic’s booking link email (which they confirmed was sent) so you could select a convenient delivery day. As three days had passed since then, the delivery slots for 17th September had filled, so I proactively liaised with Kinetic to see if delivery could still be achieved on the planned date. I also reassured you that I had arranged a back-up option to ship a second table via an alternative company if needed, so that delivery would still take place on the promised day.
Following my talks with Kinetic, they were able to re-plan their schedule to confirm delivery for the promised date of 17th September and emailed you with a timeslot of 4pm - 7pm. You then advised the delivery address would be unoccupied at that time — information not previously shared — and requested a refund, which I processed immediately via PayPal.
Large furniture requires specialist handling to avoid damage; it isn’t Amazon-speed, but it is the safest option for customers and their homes. While I’m sorry it wasn’t what you expected, the order was on time and updates were provided throughout.

Jo helped me out as I’d had a very bad experience with a piece of furniture from a large retailer. Jo reassured me and and personally checked over my stunning sideboard prior to it being shipped out to me in perfect condition condition.
It’s a stunning piece of furniture and I would highly recommend purchasing from Brown and Ginger, the customer service and help is above and beyond.

Fantastic customer service
We ordered a coffee table from Brown & Ginger, which was dispatched promptly and was absolutely stunning when it arrived. Unfortunately, DPD had ignored the fragile tape all over the box- it arrived on it's side and the corners of the box were pretty badly damaged. When we opened it, the table could not have been packaged more securely and some care had obviously been taken to ensure we received it in perfect condition. However, one of the legs had been snapped in transit. I contacted the company and the customer service I received was impeccable. Jo advised me that if it was ok with us, she would personally bring us a new one at the weekend as we were just over an hour away from her. Communication was great and Jo arrived exactly when she said she would and brought us a new table. I'm over the moon with the quality of the table and it looks stunning in the living room. I would highly recommend Brown & Ginger and will certainly be ordering again. Thanks so much to Jo and her husband for going to the effort of bringing us a new table to make sure it arrived in perfect condition.

I found Brown and Ginger while doing a search for a lemon shaped photo holder and they had exactly what I was after. I ordered at 2pm and it was delivered the next day. The item was packaged really well and looks great. Very impressed. Fabulous unique items, brilliant service
I have brought numerous items before from Brown and Ginger, I love their uniqueness and value for money is always great. I recently purchased one of the small gnomes as a gift for a friend. Unfortunately the item was broken in transit. Josephine could not have been more helpful. She arranged for a replacement which was sent within 48 hours and then organised for the return of the broken item to repair and sell in her seconds shop. A fabulous experience of how to assist customer. Given the experience I have had, I've shared Brown and Ginger with lots of my friends.
