Very poor customer service with no promises and no call backs
Britannia Security installed roller shutters at our dental practice and did an excellent job. Professional team, quality work, and completed on schedule. Highly recommend.
Britannia Security has been excellent from start to finish. I had two electric shutters fitted, and the quality of the job was great.
Everyone, from the fitter to customers, was first class.
Would highly recommend. Great to work with a company that really takes care of its customers.
We had a shutter fitted, two months later it came off it's roller. They came out and charged us £474. The engineer told us that it had been badly fitted, in his notes he blamed us. Has come off the roller again and they want another £474. We have decided to use another company and speak to Trading Standards.
Bought a couple of electric roller shutter doors from Britannia Security and have been very pleased. The doors are well made and relatively possible for a non-expert to fit! You can tell a good company when something goes awry, and they were excellent when one of the motors turned out to be faulty, replaced it straight away. Kirk Potts in Customer Service has been extremely helpful - I'd strongly recommend them.
Engineer called to open a jammed front door lock. Stayed 30 minutes to open the door with a screwdriver to clear slightly blocked bolt-receiver. Advised slightly bowed wooden door. Then presented me with invoice for £220 +VAT. No advance warning of cost. BS confirmed the next morning that this was their standard charge!! BEWARE!
Fixed a shutter that was jammed and have since supplied shutters for my other properties. Would highly recommend.
This company took me on , and sacked me after 2 days after not giving me a chance, there was no induction, had me doing 2 man jobs on my own at a risk to my own safety, I tried my absolute best to succeed and the only feedback I got is that i was putting to much effort into fixing the terrible quality of work that they had produced , they knew I had a 3 year old child and bills to pay and sacked me a month before Christmas ( by text) didn't even have the decency to tell me to my face they just said the worker in the unit refused to work with me (for no reason), terrible company and the quality of the work was disgusting, they had no standards
Bad after sales and very bad quality
Bought it on ebay, last 6 month and failed to work
Quote to be repaired is the price of a new shutter!!

Just asked for a quote to replace a shutter. Told by customer services that they are local to my area.... They quoted £495 + Vat to come out and have a look at the job.
Fake company, will take your money and keep fobbing you off. AVOID AVOID AVOID
I have ordered door shutter from them. After requested someone to came on a site and take measurements they insured me is simple and sent me chart. We sent them together with some pictures and took them 2 days consulting. After I paid no one came back to me so I chase them for 3 days. On the installation day I received a quick voicemail they will be in the area if I am available for installation. When they came on a site discovered that the shutter is 1m(100mm) shorter. Despite the pictures, explanations over the phone and the chart they sent us, they had 1meter difference and they all blame us. We paid for the shutter and labour but we did not received services, stock or refund. Fake company, Poor and rude customer services. Please stay away
We got a shutter door and two window grilles fitted. We specifically asked their staff to measure up given the bespoke nature of these products. Despite their own staff measuring up, one window grille was much smaller than the window and the screws fell out very quickly after fitting, leaving the window no more secure than before. The fitter on the day noted the grille was the wrong size and we contacted the office the same day as well to arrange a replacement to be manufactured.
Unfortunately, communication pretty much dropped off from the company after that. 7 months later, despite us chasing this up constantly and requesting the complaints process, it was only after serving notice to go to court did they respond and offer a full refund for the not-fit-for-purpose product instead.
I wanted a roller door quote so I left an info on their website form. I was called back and I gave the details again (measurements etc). I had to spell my email 3 times. After that I didn't receive any quotation so I called next day. They had no idea what happened to my details (they lost it twice already. I am afraid if they cannot do this correctly I'd rather not have a door from them...
