We received a gift for Christmas for my 7 year old that was purchased through Bricks Direct. There was no notice of COD when we picked up the package. A month later I am receiving a customs bill for a gift. I asked the purchaser to take this up with BricksDirect but they refuse to do anything. In the end a $40 CAD gift will cost almost $120 CAD: $50 item on Amazon+ $50 in shipping +17 in Customs. The item could have been purchased from Amazon Canada or Walmart for $40 + tax. I would never recommend or use this service to purchase a gift for anyone... BUYER BEWARE!!!

Again - my son was the recipient of a GIFT, not the person that ordered from you! The fact that my 7 year old has to pay $20 in duties for a gift is beyond frustrating, as is your lack of customer service.

Great prices and fast international shipping. I ordered several Lego sets and was surprised at how quickly the orders shipped from Europe to the United States.

I will absolutely order from BricksDirect again.

The discount looked really good, but then postage was added, so it was only slightly better then additional sets were which I didn't really want with additional postage which made it the same price as everywhere else, so where was the discount. Postage instructions were not included on the packaging and the box was damaged, so not a great experience.

They ship quickly and I had no issues with their products as they are 100% genuine LEGO. But they fail to respond to my messages. I had mistakenly ordered a duplicate item and requested a removal but they did not care to respond.

- Product was not available from manufacturer.
- Speed of delivery.

Website was easy to navigate, shipping with quick and products were in good condition. Exactly what I was looking for! And the product selection is fantastic as well

I ordered the new version of the DeLorean set on Feb 26th and received it on March 2nd. Very satisfied.

The processes and information were good. It was a hassle free shopping. The products I ordered from Turkey were delivered without any problems. The products also arrived intact.

They have some very rare lego items in stock.

Unfortunately, with the large distance my item had to be shipped (to Australia) the item was damaged, but customer service was quick and communication was good with providing return instructions and a refund.

Would definitely look into buying again, but next time will probably ship to a friend who lives closer to NL.

I was a bit wary of BricksDirect at first. I hadn't heard of them and I was buying from the U.S. I did a bit of research and only saw a few complaints about VAT tax but that doesn't apply to U.S. buyers. The price in the cart + shipping is what I paid. Everything was very clear. There were no other taxes collected. A bonus for customers from high sales tax states.

I ordered some of their discounted products, which were still more affordable than local prices even after factoring in shipping costs from BricksDirect. The shipping rate is reasonable and can stretch farther if you buy a couple of sets all at once. You will also get more value if you are purchasing larger sets.

I am very satisfied with the products. Every box arrived in good shape with all pieces included. I've already built a couple of the sets. I got constant updates on my package until it reach my door... better communication than even lego. The package arrived quicker than anticipated given it was coming from Europe.

Wer keinen Wert auf schnelle Lieferung und Kundendienst legt ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten hier für den Geburtstag unseres Sohnes bestellt, da die BricksDirect für Lieferung aber über 2 Wochen benötigt hat, mussten wir neu bestellen. Rücksendung ging dann natürlich auch auf unsere Kosten. Dutch Service at its best!

Bought a nice lego set for a good deal and it arrived faster than expected across the ocean.

Wonderful buying experience. I was able to buy several kits that were retired and more expensive from other sellers. Shipping was reasonable and arrived a couple days earlier than originally estimated. I have already placed another order.

I am so happy I found BricksDirect. They had the exact item I needed that I could not find anywhere else. I was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time for my sons birthday but shipping was fast and delivery times were accurate. I would definitely buy again from them.

Was admittedly more than a little skeptical to order a Lego from an international distribution source...at a decent discount from the going rate everywhere else. However, with the attractive pricing made the specific set of purchase just within reach of what I was willing to spend; price of admission/threshold for Technic sets.
I rolled the dice, making sure to message BricksDirect beforehand to ensure I wasn't ordering a cheaper knockoff set..and also to have contact information if things didn't go as planned.
I'm happy to report that not only did everything go as planned, but the experience actually exceeded my expectations! Because I shipped to Colorado (US), there's no tax attached, which means that the shipping cost ended up being LESS than the tax incurred by the same specific set if purchased locally. Also, I opted for Priority International shipping (through Fed-Ex) and the claimed 2 day international delivery wasn't an exaggeration! It literally took 2.5 days to get from BricksDirect distribution in the Netherlands to my home in Colorado (US). How it shipped and cleared US Customs that quickly, I have no idea?!
The Technic set was actually in really good condition upon arrival. There were a couple loose pieces within the box, but none of the thousands of included Lego pieces were missing.
Nothing but good things to say about the experience overall! BricksDirect seems to be a no brainer for the larger Lego sets; shipping costs will likely make it too cost prohibitive for the smaller sets, at least to the US.

Bought some rare and retired packs of Legos that i could not find anywhere else, and for a very good price. They were packed nicely and came in perfect condition. The shipping were really fast, well for that price i hoped it would. I definitely recommend buying from this store!
