New Boxed not like the old Boxed
I loved the old Boxed but this new Boxed is...dodgy. The items show up in open cases like someone just brought them from their garage. I was sent the wrong item in one case and I have emailed them twice and no response. The prices are meh - nothing less than you could get at Sam's tbh - and they have a kind of unsettling amount of fresh food on their site. I probably won't go back - seems like a risk given the other reviews on here.

Ordered on April 7,2025 on April 15th only 1/2 of the order delivered not boxed or anything just left the items individually on the porch. Contacted customer service when initially no confirmation or tracking received. No reply from customer service.

I too,placed an order with this company on January 31, received an email confirmation, never shipped out, I’ve sent 4 emails, but no response. I finally contacted my bank to file a dispute. Not a very good first impression on my first order. I guess some people have had good experiences, people lie all the time, though.

I have sent three emails to customer service and nothing. I have ordered several times in the past and had no issues. What is going on?!
I was devastated when they closed…
I was devastated when they closed Boxed. We used them for 90 percent of our household needs. Flash foward to this summer a glimmer of hope, they have returned. While they were working on glitches I was still beyond happy that they are back. One glitch was an item I ordered was accidentally replaced with another, but thw customer service was amazing. Not only did they give me a refund they also sent the right product when it was back on stock. I live probably 2 hours away from them (which i never knew until this) and they hand delivered the product. Could you imagine talk about amazing personable customer service!!!! Thank you Boxed and welcome back!!!!
I don’t recommend this company
I placed a very large order and this will be my last one. Things were just thrown in the box together heavy with light fragile items. They were shipped all the way cross-country and it looks like the boxes were drug under the truck instead of riding inside the truck. when the delivery guy dropped them off, They were just thrown on my porch upside down. I sent a message to the Company and i asked for a refund of all of my crushed food items. This is supposed to be a convenient way to shop. I suggest you just go to the store and pick the items up yourself. Don’t bother with this company because they obviously don’t care.

This company was poorly managed and went bankrupt leaving it's shareholders holding the bag. I believed in CEO as he seemed straight forward and honest. I'll never order from this new company again.

Cannot recommend
Cannot recommend. Three unanswered emails to Boxed regarding order that was supposed to be received on 27 August, but has not yet shipped as of 29 August. No communication. Credit card charged, though. 😠
Wont use them again sadly
Before they got taken over they were great, under new ownership I won't shop there again. It took 3 weeks to get my order and it wasn't even my whole order. I had to contact them because I thought things were missing, then they informed me and updated my account that my order was sent in 2 shipments. Now a month later and I still don't have the second half of my order, but I did just get an update that it is delayed and will be yet another week before I get it, IF I get it. So glad it's chocolate and will probably be melted by the time it arrives.

Our order took longer than stated by three days. Then I received product that was already out of date. I have tried contacting the company and haven't heard back. I wouldn't waste your time or money!!

This site is not a scam. I've ordered from them in the past and have always been happy with the experience. prices are competitive and customer service is to notch.
I miss the best coffee
I miss the best coffee, Organic French Dark roast.
I’m worried about getting no reply or response from them.
I had a wonderful experience with Boxed until my last order. I received my order minus paper towels. $15.68 worth. I instantly took a picture of the order & the receipt & the packing slip which said the paper towels had shipped. Well, no, they didn’t. I sent email after email & have had no response. So if they file for bankruptcy, people like me just lose their money? Tough luck, try the next pop up company & risk more. What options do we have to get money back? I’m retired & $15 is a big chunk out of our grocery budget.

I am missing Boxed. It was so convenient for me. I am sorry you had to file Bankruptcy. It is such a hard decision make. If you decide to reorganize and start sending packages to Florida please let me know.

I have been ordering from them for five years now. The customer service is THE best I have ever encountered. You are made to feel VALUABLE. THAT is priceless. (Oh, and of course the terrific prices on great products).
